bonnyguy:Well said! The LSG has a rason for this development if it is true. You will agree with me that Banks have contributed to the horrible state of traffic in the state. They must be made to take responsibility for their "nuisance". Look at the way they locate branches indiscriminately all over the state. Even in places specifically for residential houses. They have even caused the rent in some neighborhoods to jump as much as 150%. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION. |

Can someone really be overzealous about his being proud to be a citizen of a country? I think not. For your information I do not think wazobia fm is as old as cool fm. But don't you think whoever set up the station also noticed the obvious? In fact I am informed that wzobia fm belongs to cool fm (i do not know). But if it does then it means they themselves realized the "dysfunction" in their broadcast. I still believe we should be "real". A lot of these guys even struggle with the fake accents. Remember we are in Nigeria, they are speaking to predominantly Nigerians and it just doesn't work. Have you had the priviledge of listening to seasoned broadcasters like Sunny Irabor and co? They always talk about when they were in training how they had to practice correct pronunciation of both Nigerian and foreign names. Our affinity for the western way of doing things has robbed us of our very existence. Do these guys ever go for training? Or thy just jump into the studio and begin to go on and on. Or is it the Dan Forster factor? Even the man does his best to be a "Nigerian". Are you one of them in cool fm? Anyway, one man meat is another's poison. |
mactao:I HAVE NO APOLOGIES FOR THE WAY I FEEL ABOUT COOL FM. FOR GOD'S SAKE DON'T YOU GET SICK WHEN FELLOW NIGERIANS (YORUBA'S, IBO'S AND CO.) PRONOUNCE NIGERIAN NAME AS THOUGH THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD TH NAMES PRONOUNCED BEFORE. IF YOU ARE NOT, , WELL I AM AND I BELIEVE I SPEAK FOR A MILLION OTHER NIGERIANS. And what in the world if I may ask you is wrong with "I-am-Nigerian-and-proudly-so people"? Are you one of those who are ashamed to be identified as a Nigerian? Well, I AM NOT!! |

Applications are pouring in. Don't miss this opportunity |
The first time I listened to cool fm I loved the station. But, suddenly some "FAKE" oyinbo's joined them and now I hate cool fm with a passion. Then came wazobia fm with Mashe and Yo yo yo. I LOVE THIS STATION because they are "real" unlike the fake people in cool fm. |
Nairalanders have this habit of bad mouthing peoples businesses. Always critical about the integrity of the people posting. The unfortunate thing is that, while the bad mouthing is going on, the promoters of these business are making progress. Instead of criticizing every post I suggest those who do not want to enter the through the door should step aside and allow the ones who want to get in enter. Your failure does not mean someone else will fail. I have been into multilevel marketing for over a year now and have been quite successful in it without cutting corners and cheating my downlines. I was laughed at and called names. Some of those who laughed and called me names have joined me and have themselves made success also. If you have a good enough reason o be successful you will not spare any hard work to be successful. To make real money in this industry you need to be commited, consistent, and put forth daily effort. You need to then become a master marketer, lead generator, prospector, closer, and then leader who can mentor a team. I have compiled a report on my experience and how I was able to get by. This report is being given away FREE OF CHARGE. Agreed that a lot of people have messed up MLM. It does not mean there are no honest people doing it. A lot of people who claimed to have been "hurt" by uplines. These people never talk about their own greed and the desire to get all the money in one go. In my team we have been able to learn a lot from the "mistakes" people have made in the past. If you are interested in his report please send email to winnteam@yahoo.com |
sunej:If you are NOT INTERESTED JUST SAY SO. "As a man thinket in his hear so is he". What makes you think or beleive everyone is fake. Go and look at the vacancy pages in the newspapers and tell me if they write their office location there. Once again I thank those that have sent their cv's in. We shall contact the shortlisted applicants within 2 weeks like is done in the press. |
Thanks to all that have shown interest by sending emails. We shall get back to you ASAP. OUR DOORS ARE STILL OPEN! |
A web design company needs the following: 1. A Graphic Designer with OND who needs a place to do the mandatory 1 year Attachment. 2. Marketers. Send mail to winnteam@yahoo.com if you are looking for WORK and not a JOB |
funkybaby:I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH YOU ON THIS. There is no way anyone on earth can have my finger print or that of any body else. Even if they try here how will they explain the mismatch of their actual print when processed at the point of enrty with the one on their passport? It is very simple now. No two people have the same print. Not even twins. I personally think this is the end of the oluwole boys in the issue of fake passports. |
This service is actually free of charge. A senior police officer told me so. All you need do is apply to the IGP. But tust our people, they will sell anything. I have never had issues with my Toyota sienna anyway and i have no tint permit. |
If administered properly it will put a final nail on the coffin of double or even tripple passports by our beloved brothers and sisters. It will help us all and CHECK the "Must-travel-people" big time. |
I think I bought the same cd you bought. TRASH!! I really looked forward to enjoying myself but was disappointed. I hope the season 4 gets into the market soon. |
Guys this is a very MATURED way of doing business. In fact you have proven that there are still honest guys around. I wish every business man in this country will follow this model. Nothing pays more than honesty. I have done transactions running into thousands of dollars on the online with fellow Nigerians that I never knew from Adam. Because of the honest way we have dealt with each other we have become friends even beyond business transactions. THUMBS UP GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO HAPPY! |
@erico2k2 I beg your pardon. Why would I take it personal? Am I the one buying the car? lucabrasi says he knows someone whose conversion isn't giving him issues. Beautiful. While I know 2 people who have not been lucky with theirs. I maintain that everyone is entitled to his opinion. Abi? And for your information I am not a lay about. I am as educated as you are. If my refusing to agree with you on conversion makes me rigid that is very okey by me. Why would I go for a RHD when I have an array of LHD vehicles to chose from? You said: "all these cars either lhd or rhd were all made and assembled the same way in an assembly plant being overseen by engineers". If you agree that these cars were assembled either as RHD or LHD and overseen by engineers, why would one now want to do something contrary to what engineers had overseen? (Just a question) On the issue if Government and FRSC banning RHD vehicles in Nigeria. What is wrong in that? Don't we already have enough problems like lucabrasi as outlined. Do we have to add RHD to it? We can sit at our pc for eternity analyzing the decisions of government wether they are misplaced or not. The truth is that they already have th law in place. If I am not mistaking they may have even signed it into law. |
For your pocket O! Everybody is entitled to his opinion. Stay in London there and be blowing grammar. Whenever you return home go and ask FRSC why they do not want RHD cars in Nigeria. Just as you cannot convince me about the safety of affordability of RHD so also I cannot convince you about the unacceptability of such cars in Nigeria by the government. If they were why is the FRSC against it? Abi na me make the law. Must we buy cars imported from Japan ? I drive an American spec Toyota sienna and it is LHD. As for me, I think I am thru with this topic bye. |
The question is why go for RHD and then convert? From my personal point of view IT DOES NOT MAKE SENCE. I'd rather buy from aountry that uses LHD like ours. Nothing can convince me about the safety when it is done in Japan abi the Moon. We always want the easy way out of everythting. I wish the Custom people would do their job and keep these RHD cars out of this country. We cahnged to LHD from RHD since 1973. I DO NOT SEE ANY REASON WHEY WE ARE STILL GOING TO UK AND OTHER RHD COUNTRIES TO BRING IN TRASH. How many LHD cars will you find in Japan, SA or UK? |
@chukel I am not a car dealer o. I however have a guy I have bought cars from since 2003. He has been quite honest and we have been able to build a relationship beyond cars. What make are you looking at? What is your price range. I could link you up with the guy though. |
Why cant we just buy what is menat for our market and save everyone the troubles this conversion will bring in future? I saw one guys car recently. He had an accident and it was traced to the conversion. Nigerians like courting trouble sha. |
My brother why do people like risks like this? I know of a woman who nearly lost her life in a converted mini bus. The steering wheel came off on the express way. GOOD LUCK SHA! |

I thought Seun had locked this post. What the wisdom in unlocking it? |
@jydeboy If you do not have anything reasonable to post then STOP! Your not ever wanting to step into redemption camp is your cup of tea. |
I am not a Government agent. I have never desired to be and I will never be. Just the way a lot of Nigerians believe their future is warped unless they travel abroad a lot of Nigerians in the hinterland believe when they come to Lagos all their problems will be over. The problem caused by illegal Nigerian immigrants in Europe and America has brought us a very bad name. The jobs are not there. The same way people who should have remained in their villages all want to be in Lagos. What do we get? The chaos we have now. The disorder we have now. The indiscipline we have now. MAJORITY OF NIGERIANS SUFFERING AND CRATING PROBLEMS IN LAGOS AND THE STREETS OF EUROPE WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF IN THEIR HOME TOWNS AND VILLAGES. Yo will be amazed that they have a far better place to lay their heads at night than they do right now. There are people in the villages who live a far better life that people in Lagos. I know a family that is suffering in one tiny room in Lagos who have a wonderful building in their home town. Go home now, they will not. The man has a bus for moving goods o. With the advent of the internet and GSM the world has become a global village. Wherever you are you can do your thing. The street market is there because the average Nigerian knows they hawker are there. They day they wake up and not find them they will adjust. That is the simple truth. Development has never favored all the citizens of a country. Some will always be "swept" away by the change. For example, when the computer came the manual and electric type writers had to give way. Though they can still be found in a a few places. The woman who sells food by the road side claims she cannot afford to pay for a shop. But she makes money there everyday, pays no tax and as such keeps all her profit. Yet she "cannot" afford a shop. The street hawker and everyone says the same thing. They create problems on the road and when they are knocked down by vehicles, it becomes a big issue. Meanwhiel they were not supposed to be on the road. I witnessed and accident recently where a driver lost control of his car and ran over one of these people who have call centres along major roads. Sentiments aside. Is this the kind of Nation we want? Government can only as much as they can do. We must begin to do the right thing in this country. |
Even if we debate this matter till eternity the truth is that government has made up its mind. They have started mass awareness campaigns and my sincere advice to all is to "AVOID ANYTHING IN THE COLORATION OF THESE OFFENSES". . A friend of mine recently had his bus towed away by government. It will either be crushed in EPE or he needs to cough out a handsome N50,000 to reprocess the bus. He was given ample time to comply but, like every Nigerian he said they cannot do such. See what is happening with the enforcement of the BRT lane matter. What we need to do is try to help enforce these new laws by educating friends and relatives. We are too quick to analyze, criticize and say how this and that won't work. We all need a change of mindset. A majority of Nigerians are guilty of this one way driving offense. I BELIEVE SOMEONE WHO PAYS THE FINE ONCE OF TWICE WILL HAVE A SERIUOS RETHINK THE NEXT TIME HE WANTS TO DRIVE AGAINST TRAFFIC. EKO ONI BA JE!! |
"Anyway, Sun God is just desperately seeking for attention; I wonder why people want to oblige him." If we all stop paying attention to this thread the attention seeking sungod and his followers will have nothing left to do. SILENCE IS GOLDEN. |
@deor03 NO BETTER WAY TO SUMMARIZE THIS MATTER. THANK YOU! |
@fojames "the complexities of forex the hardwork of mlm the demands of other online business" From your post. Are you discouraging people from solving complex challenges, hard work and the demands of success? You have also listed 4 business opportunities in your post. My simple question is. Do these opportunities not demand hard work, complexities and other demands of business success? I personally feel you people should allow people decide on what to do. When you say no need for downlines what do you mean? My understanding of what you are saying is that when people take up your opportunities they do not need people to patronize them. They do not need to tel people about what they are doing. How many businesses do you start and not market? Do they just become big overnight. When banks like First Atlantic and companies like Bajaj are going into networking then that tells any right thinking person that there is something real about MLM. Pleaseo, there is no FREE money anywhere. |
