awe2015:Check our website regularly for updates for EMU. For METU application has started |
easytalkwitbabs:Thanks. These are METU conditions: 1. METU does not recognize NECO and if you must present it as i have convinced them twice before, then You must have good grades (A, A, B, B etc) 2. You must pay tuition fees within just one week including accommodation which ranges 4500-5500USD 3. If you are above 25yrs, you must support with verifiable documents why you have finished high school since 2006 and wanting to start undergrad in 2015. If you meet these, then send me the full documents and details. |
easytalkwitbabs:What was the content of the mail? I receive over 100 mails daily, so mostly reply those that needs reply and delete others. You may resend or write here. Thanks for understanding! |
miracleanyigbo:What you need to bring along is stated on your acceptance letter, kindly check again. Most importantly, try to bring photo passport from Nigeria cos it will cost you around 2000-3000Naira to snap just 6 pics here which may be less than 500N there in Nigeria. You will need about 20 photo passports cos you will need it in most places even at police stations. 1. Original olevel results 2. Acceptance letter 3 Intl passport 4 photo are major things that are requested from undergraduate applicants for registration. |
Gregport:NO..only Turkish airline. Reason is that we had cooperation with them for our summer students sometime back and during that period I was able to drive in over 200 European and Chinese students down to TRNC. Therefore, I was assigned to one of their reps that can follow up on that. |
Gregport:I dont know the student in person, my duty is just to compile students that arrive based on their flight details sent and those approve at TRNC airport so the university can know how many arrived and how many registered. I can help you get refund on arrival but very risky, so i advise you follow your agent ways. Pls i dont sell tickets but I have access to get refund (100% assure) If i must help you consider the following conditions: 1. You have to pay the money to me (exact amount you found on the TURKISH airline website) : I may run away with your money ( very risky...so think well), although such money is not what i live on..so think and ask your religious leader to see the vision before you embark on this. 2. On Arrival walk straight to my office and pick your refund. 3. I can only give you my email address or you write here on this thread but i will not entertain chats(Whatsapp or viber) or call but i can call you from my official phone before you depart. 4. If you dont fly with the ticket: you will receive 100% refund as well. 5. I dont like to meet people so i may not entertain too much talk apart from refunding you. 6. This is not by force ooo or do or die....You may also check stores within Nigeria that may offer similar help to you. Pls this is just assistance i want to offer for this applicant due to his pocket size....I only do this to help, so i may not reply others for such offer. Thanks... Safe trip and good luck! |
EMU APPLICANTS Intake for spring term will be over today. The last confirmation list will be sent on 6 Feb. and any application or payment after these dates shall be consider for 2015-16 Fall term. |
KennieHorllarh:You can do anyone you wish, kindly email the university to know which is better but deferment makes the work easier though. Are you going to do Turkish Music? if yes you may have some fun but if other music then it will be just for fun and improvement. TRNC is not USA or UK, is just a small Island where most foreigners only come here to study, the citizens are lazy and eat a lot and after sometimes you will become lazy also and hardly do they listen to foreign music unless top artiste or via TV or radio stations. But who knows, your style of music might pull some strings..Good luck! |
micheal11226:Wish you success |
lolade2803:Yes |
Amosiye:I think emirate guys are not having such issues, also, you can buy return and get the refund asap on arrival via Turkish airline if purchased via their center. I have done that in most times for those traveling from Nigeria. Safe trip and Happy new month! |
rose198201:Yes. |
EMU APPLICANTS SPRING 2014-15 I advise the incoming applicants not to come before 10th Feb and should move it father up towards March/Feb ending. If you must come, ensure you have friends to stay with or have some extra cash. We had a meeting today and those that come early might be charged per day till the dorm is officially opened. Safe trips! |
Gregport:You can purchase one way ticket irrespective of the airline traveling to TRNC, although, most times the immigration officer may refuse to let you go or sometimes some of the local staffs of the airlines may interrupt and some do that to seek for bribe as usual. Turkey or TRNC does not care even you buy half-way to here. Anyway some students landed 2 days ago here with one way ( emirate and Turkish)..now they are in hotel paying for hotel room since their accommodation will only be opened on March first week. |
Lawprince:Since you are coming for masters, the Olevel attestation has little effect with the embassy. Kindly go ahead to the embassy and in case they need it, then you can be asked to submit it before collecting your sticker on the passport. |
anitaabz:Graduation in which country? |
Impressive and you have tried. I checked the site and did perform some calculations. Kindly add donate button linked to your Paypal or account on your site. You can also improve on the interface and group the apps as shown below.

pamyp:Yes you can go to the embassy and ask any questions relating to visa and traveling. Which of the Baltic states are you traveling to? from my experience some of them will only collect your visa application documents and when the visa is ready you will be asked to come for sticker. It also depend on your purpose of traveling to the Baltic states? Studies or leisure. For instance Lithuanian issues studies visa in Turkey within a week, Latvia used to be short for studies before but now elongated with many requirements. Estonia around 30 days for studies as well. In case you find it difficult from Turkey, most of these Baltic states embassies in India can also issue the visas. Try to call the embassy and request to know their processing time and exact documents to come along. For Turkey you may apply for 3 months multiple entries and 30 days stay on each visit. |
pamyp:The site is working well..I just checked ..find below the routes to what you requested.
|
pamyp:1. Kindly visit Turkish embassy Abuja website, you will find the list of requirements and other useful information. 2. In most cases, the consular is responsible tell you when to pick your passport and processing days differs by country and purpose of trip. Since it will be entry visa might last 3-8 weeks based on my experience. Ask the consular when you submit. 3. As far as I know you can not extend entry visa within Turkey unless you go out of Turkey. If you think 30 days wont be enough you might have to apply for LONG STAY. Although, if you overstay the 30 days for few days and can back it up, you may be awarded fine to pay at POE. Also ask the consular when you apply, he/she will be in the best position to answer this. |
pamyp:On the form fill Short stay visa and fill 30 days in section they ask number of days to spend. |
Amosiye:I can only talk about the two I have used/using: Diamond debit card: good for average student or regular person. Charges low around 240N per withdrawal on ATM, no charges on POS or online transaction. Maximum withdrawal on individual account daily is around 850USD while for corporate is 2500USD and this is linked to your local account in Nigeria. They recently have Foreign currency card and linked to your dorm account directly. You can get both! Standard chartered: This is good for business minded person/heavy withdrawal. Charges around 1-3% per withdrawal and you can withdraw up to 8000usd per day depending on card type. Very efficient, secure and great customer rep. They do have double layer security on cards so as to prevent ATM cloning. I have not used these but most of Nigerian students use them here: a. GTB b. First bank c. UBA |
kuzee:He is your dad, so let him do what he wants if he pleases him and you. It wont affect you. Just get affidavit handy. |
kuzee:Is your surname on your international passport and certificate same or different? EMU and the embassy use these two documents for evaluation. In either way, affidavit will assist you a long way to support your application if your surname differs in the Intl. passport and certificate. |
kuzee:Hi, Send me the required documents around April. |

eddydestiny:Send me your complete documents around April only if you are financially bouyant: official transcript, statement of result and Intl passport page. NOTE: You must be financially able to cover the tuition fees for graduate studies before you embark on this journey below are the possible expenses: 1. tuition ranges 4700-6500 usd for whole master program inclusive of scholarship 2. Accommodation 2000-3500 usd per year 3. Other expenses like food and phone calls etc ranges 200-300 usd monthly for normal students You must ensure you have the stated fees or have stable/standby sponsor before you apply PLS. eddydestiny: worry359: danejo06:For prospective graduate applicants, the university will be adding new programs from beginning of April and after approval the ONLINE APPLICATION (master and PhD) WILL BE READY at end of APRIL. danejo06:Visit the Turkish embassy Abuja website for procedure on Visa. Updated information on getting visa is stated on their website. |
danejo06:All the names of those that have received their confirmation letters before 19th January have been sent to embassy and should be in embassy before Friday. Tangible number of EMU applicants have been approved visas and shall get their stamps on Friday or next week. So embassy determines when you get your visas as soon as they receive the details from the concerned University. Kindly note; classes commence in March, so there is no point coming here in January because no place to accommodate you since students are still in session, so you will end up looking for apartment outside, you will become tired and waste a lot of money before March. Its advisable to fly down from 20th of Feb. Anyway its a choice! but those are the challenges you might face when you come here around Jan 25th...! Good luck! |
