lovable85:The new visa procedure in most universities in SC now is to pay the app and visa fees.....The university apply via the migration departments and once the student has been notified by the College/university that his/her visa has been issued the student should forward a payment to the College/university. Once the payment is received by the institution, they send to the student a copy of his/her paper visa. NOTE: It is different procedure before 4 semesters ago when student will need to apply for visa him/herself from Nigeria and tuition must be completely paid before then. So kindly follow the current procedure now. |
lovable85:You are most welcome....yes am also looking forward to meeting you soon ..best wishes! |
lovable85:I have never said that about SC (you have to check dates and time of my replies and the specific questions asked) ......cos I know about NC and SC very well and too well. Read the thread well and understand which part of the country you are heading to and adhere to the procedure of the concerned country. You may have to quote the line or thread which I said something different...that way..I may help or guide more.... Finally, your intended university had already made it clear the procedure you should follow...why cant you follow it as highlited in your statement above? |
Eureka123:Okay If he needs my help as pa whisky....just ring me........I will be glad to help...also me I dont run away but I face it, conquer and made it !! Always on the move upward....Let him learn also! Summer is coming....best season for grills and barbecue...have u been to Karpaz before and the nude beach close to paralimi? try it in this summer...its nice! |
Eureka123:Ahhhh tell him not to be coming out during the sun... For me I bought Sun screens and UV protecting sun creams...Also he can take lectures ONLY in winter as well.....but the SUN is more crazier in the south as well...! What about Russia...I have some good friends from Russia...Whisky will be free for him for 1 year I promise! |
Eureka123:The person can transfer if he or she has the finance....accommodation and expenses higher though than NC...! |
Eureka123:Yes anybody can transfer, however due to the bruhauhauuuuu between SC and NC..... NC tends to admit all SC students cos I have done transfer for more than 100 students from SC into EMU in the past. But SC regards NC diploma as illegal to the extent that one university in SC was supposed to pay me some cash years back and refused to transfer to my NC bank account saying they cant transfer money to illegal part...I had to travel down to collect the money in cash and in person.............but these days cos SC is broke they tend to be more polite and getting more calm.....and gentle...and they need more students now to stay afloat....Soon I will promote the quality university there now and they changed their visa procedure! |
Bolidegz:South Cyprus system differs: So follow it diligently as well, The sponsor letter and bank statement can only be from parents of students or family with same surname. The relationship must be stated on the bank letter and duration of the said account. From 7000 euros after payment of your fees should be available as balance. I don't know about money lodgement, the ministry of migration that will evaluate the visa application mostly interested in the flow rates of cash and balance at time of submission! |
Entertainer05:You can only apply for METU NCC through me but not METU Ankara (METU Ankara has quota system while METU NCC does not) |
Eureka123:Hmmmmmmm.....Okay boss! |
Eureka123:You people to like food oooo......Anyway I went to the SC ...is still same like before...I dont think that law has been implemented but new thing I noticed is that line and traffic is lesser at the Nicosia entry point..I dont know about magusa entry point though! |
Entertainer05:Yes am doing great!....All the information you need are well written on METU Turkey website.......just check under transfer applicants! Best wishes! |
btee234:I doubt if Turkish embassy will issue you visa for 2 months...Just apply for ENTRY visa LONG stay.....Hmmmm Latvia story long ooo anyway, you may ask them to submit your application and return with your passport and if visa approved you come for the sticker. |
btee234:You can ask the University to write official letter for you stating you will be applying for Visa at so so embassy in Ankara and take it along. The visa processing duration varies from one country to the other. It will be lot easier if you ask the embassy in question, how long they will process your visa and know exact documents you need to bring along including all the attestation. Then, you can know the length of visa you can apply for. For transit visa from Nigeria, Turkish embassy can only grant you 3-7 days max. Anything longer than that will be ENTRY visa and you can ask for upto 1 month for this. Also, the consular at Turkish embassy can guide you also but learn how long your visa processing will take. |
Eureka123:Waow The list is sooooooooooo plenty...we voted anyway...Luck and Win is what I wish you! Why are you not there? |
Eureka123:Okayyy...hmmmm we shall vote anyway... |
marcyemi:You can study abroad...there are tonnes of universities abroad that do not bother about age...in South Cyprus, Bulgaria, USA, UK and many more.. |
Eureka123:Where pls? I am not too conversant with all these social stuffs..... that time is great... I will pull those students along! Will they pay you guys monthly or una go just get the award? |
casper9:Read more on EMU website...in brief fees per year for Engineering programs awarded 50% is around 4400 dollars, accommodation per year 1500-3500 dollars per year and living 100-300 dollar per month depending on individual lifestyle! |
Eureka123:Yeah yeah...what time? Hope is during the day? If yes, I can drag my colleagues along to vote you and also I will be teaching on Wed ( I have 55 students in this class)...I can dash 1 mark to all who vote you that day....... |
Eureka123:Yes yeah...but I'm more concerned with reopening of Varosha cos that municipal can create thousand of jobs for both foreigners and citizens.......and Famagusta can make huge revenue from that place!! |
marcyemi:No sir, METU has age restriction as well for African undergraduate applicants although they occasionally admit applicants 25-27 with cogent reasons but 29 is way too high! |
Eureka123:@Eureka123, Not exactly...I only had a lunch with that head of tourism and vice chair chem on Friday which is childhood friend with the new President and they seem very optimistic about some new development plan for magusa (New airport and direct flight to abroad and shipping) and unification. I will confirm this myself next week again as I will be going to SC.......I actually do visit South Cyprus and sometimes do help one lady selling Nigerian food to get those food material occasionally....the long queue to fill that form at the borders is what I hate most. I bought my car from South Cyprus and due to that visa stuff I spent a lot cos as a rule I have to return every 3 months to SC for tax etc....I had to drop the car when the stress is so much..........its really a good news ! |
kuzee:I replied your email now. |
Eureka123:Hmmmmm am sure you enjoy yourself to fullest...! Well done! |
Eureka123:Wow hope this volunteer work..you people will give us food ooooo....I don't like voluntary work so much! |
Eureka123:Yes yes.....I need to come and eat ooooo and see new clothes and perceive some perfumes.

casper9:METU scholarship: I stated 5 subjects but these are 4 subjects. Anyway I have tried to evaluate from what you sent now. From 5 subjects you need to earn maximum of 15 points to qualify for 50% scholarship at METU...now you already have 14 points means METU will not award you 50% scholarship and you must even have scored in the range of B3 for the last subject for you to earn 25% scholarship at METU. For EMU: You will benefit from 50% scholarship. |
casper9:1. You must be less than 25 years old to be admitted. 2. You need to tell me grades of five subjects including Eng, Maths, 3 science subjects to enable me tell you scholarship level you can be awarded at METU. 3. Scholarship only covers tuition fees. 4. You need to support your application with legal paper to merge all the irregularities in your names and dates. |
