Seek Medical Attention! You have a condition known as schizophrenia. It is a mental illness that the main symptoms are hallucinations ad delusions. It makes a person see or hear things that are not really there. Mental diseases are very poorly understood in our part of the world, every metal disease is attributed to spiritual attack. Jaideyone:No mind these people, they are ready to defend corruption and corrupt people with their very lives. Imagine the dubious lie that the $2.1 billion Dasuki shared was Jonathan's security votes. This is an argument even Dasuki's lawyers has not presented. If $2.1 billion was part of jonathans security votes given to Dasuki to share, then how much was the total security votes? Maybe half of the budget. |
LadyExcellency:Dasuki is in jail for using the accounts of the Office of the National security adviser to distribute (some will say launder money) for political purposes. The money distributed by Dasuki was not security votes of the president. All sorts of monies were laundered through the office of the NSA, ex cess crude account and even abacha loot was channelled (extra budgetarily) through Dasuki in the guise of buying arms to fight Boko Haram .
|
seguno2:Did you want change? Did you not vote continuity? It is highly ironic that people that wanted continuity are screaming "we are not seeing any change", while the people that voted change are not complaining. |
seguno2:False. Monies Dasuki shared was not budgeted for security votes. They were monies budgeted for equipments to fight Boko Haram. Most of the time the monies were withdrawn from central bank without any budgetary provisions. |
Blue3k:You seem to have been the only person that read the report. Security votes is firmly in our constitution and it is immune from oversight, undersight or any other sight by anybody or institution. Just like immunity for president and governors, the constitution needs to be amended before security votes can be stopped. |
kennosklint: kennosklint: johnbuck81And this is what you guys conclude from the report? Confirmation that Nigerian youths are truly lazy, they can't read and comprehend. |
hucienda:Which fact and hard data? maybe PDP and IPOB's fact and hard data. If you know actual fact and hard data presented by Reno Omokri, please show them. |
Realdeals:Majority of his assertion is wrong. Nigeria oil industry expanded not by finding or drilling new oil fields but because of amnesty which was granted militants by Yaradua. Nigeria had never been the second largest oil exporter in the world or even in OPEC. NigeriaSat-2 and NigeriaSat-X was commissioned and paid for by Obasanjo. Jonathan had little do do with it. Both NigeriaSat-2 and NigeriaSat-X were completed in the middle of 2010, and the satellites were placed in storage prior to shipping out to the launch site. Both satellites were finally shipped in April 2011 to the Yasniy Cosmodrome via Moscow. What does he mean by "Foreign Reserves rises by 10% to $35 billion" when it was Yaradua that grew our foreign reserve while Jonathan depleted it. In fact with far less oil prices, Buhari has been able to grow our foreign reserve. The Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) was never established to direct investments into infrastructure like Power and Roads. It was to be act as a savings and investment tool where excess crude revenue could be directed. Too many Bullshit in these assertions. |
NOIConnect:Okonjo-Iweala is now speaking from both sides of her mouth. How can she now turn around and say the " In the case of the N17billion, the book does not talk of bribe." When this was what she wrote in the book; In a tough session with the National Assembly’s ad hoc committee on the budget (made up of chairs of the Finance Committee and Appropriation Committee of both chambers and other leaders of the National Assembly), an additional N20 billion was re-introduced as election expenses for National Assembly members. |
CilicMarin:In that case Oga Seun should be rotting in jail. He should be facing over 1000 court cases as has provided a platform (Nairaland) for not only maligning both serving and non serving judges but also for politicians, celebrities and men of God. Mark Zukerberg should be facing 1 million years. |
yns4real:This man must have taken sheppe before making this speech, and the sheppe must have affected is memory. It is now that he is ashamed that Nigeria is being used as negative example in the international community. When he was ferrying plane loads of money to South Africa, causing diplomatic embarrassment for Nigeria, he was not ashamed then, when he was christened fortunato in Italy, he was not ashamed then, when her almost turn Nigeria to a pariah state as most countries refused to deal with us, he was not ashamed then. He cited recent instances when the Ghanaian President, Nana Akufo-Addo, mocked the poor state of security in Nigeria and the naira’s weakening status. What was the state of security when he was head of State. When Boko Haram was attacking Abuja, a few miles from Aso Rock, he was not ashamed when Boko Haram was in control of 14 local governments. The former President lamented that things were so bad in the country that Nigeria had lost its respect in Africa. And Nigeria had respect in Africa when Morocco was expelling our diplomats. When was there respect for Nigeria more in the international community, during his administration or during Buhari's administration? He said, “He (Ghanaian President) said Ghana is not like Nigeria where cattle roam the streets. And cows were not roaming the streets when you were in government? Read this report to refresh your memory; Safety issues: Cows on our roads “I feel ashamed as a former President that the president of a neighbouring country used Nigeria as negative examples.Have you forgotten that during your tenure all our neighbouring countries were not on good terms with us? “If a neighbouring African president will use Nigeria to make negative examples, then we as leaders must know certain things are wrong in the country. That means we as leaders must change the way we do things.”The bolded part of the statement is the most sober part of the whole speech. All Nigerian leaders including Jonathan is responsible for the mess we find ourselves today, no one can be exonerated. Jonathan also advised President Muhammadu Buhari to resist pressure to rig the July 14 governorship election in Ekiti State and subsequent elections in the country. And he did not resist the pressure to rig the election that brought in Fayose. Does he think we all have amnesia (of course PDP and it's allies have selective amnesia ). Jonathan used the military and the federal purse, with Obanikoro as point man to rig the last Ekiti Elections. Jonathan also defended Nigerian youths, saying they were one of the best in the world and should not be branded lazy as recently remarked by Buhari. You do not think, or you know Nigerian youths are not lazy? Even your governor seem to think Bayelsa youths are lazy. Bayelsans are so lazy, they want everything free, they are not ready to work, how do i repair the turbine when no one is ready to pay for services"This is just a political speech in preparation for 2019. |
jidamsel43:His foreign policy? Trump has a foreign policy? Now, that's news to me. Trump's foreign policy is pulling out of Iran deal and then threatening to impose the hardest sanctions on Iran, when US has almost zero trade with Iran. Trump's foreign policy is imposing sanctions on Iran by imposing sanctions on anybody that trades with Iran. Even if European country’s chicken out to Trump's treats, how do you get China, Russia, India and other countries to comply? |
OP, if your are really interested in the second naira bridge, why not take a trip to the site and take actual pictures. Satellite pictures can never show site and substructure works like pillars. It is only when the decks of the actual bridge has been suspended on the pillars that it would show up on satellite pictures. Even if you cannot make the trip, you can ask any IPOB member in Asaba or Onitsha to take pictures for you and use it disgrace Buhari. |
LordStranac:They also stole El from the canaanites and even baal before they were punished (by Yahweh). The problem is that most time the bible writers (or translarors) replace El-yon ( El the most high) with the most high and replace Yahweh with Lord. Read Deuteronomy 32:8 - 9; Deuteronomy 32:8You will see that the most high El divided the nations and gave the LORD (Yahweh) Jacob. |
LordStranac:According to the bible Christians refuse to read ( they only listen to interpretations by their pastors ), the supreme God of Isra-El (fights or struggle with El) is El, whose lives in Beth-El (house of El). Yahweh is one of his sons who was put in charge of Israel. |
LordStranac:How can you say Yahweh is the true God? Where will you put El, the God of Isra-El. |
Comedy central. Is the electricity DC or AC? how much power can it deliver? Can it power a TV, an electric iron or even a house. Maybe this would be the new alternative energy source. I need a few shoots to plant in my backyard and say bye bye to NEPA. |
OfficialDad:If you did a pregnancy test after three weeks of abstainance and it came out negative, then the possibility of you being responsible for the pregnancy is 0.01%. Three weeks is more than enough time for pregnancy test to show positive results. |
ikennaf1:The bolded quote show you are highly ignorant in legal matters. Convicted criminals can appeal any aspect of the case including sentences even if guilty. According to your logic , only innocent people can appeal their innocence and not convicted people appealing their convictions? The convicted Police officers said they killed the traders based on orders from their boss. If they feel they were wrongly convicted, why can't they appeal the judgement. On appeal they could even argue for manslaughter (which carries a lighter sentence) if they can show there was no premeditation in the killings. Ah there! so your grouse with the entire Igbos is because you feel I am fighting buhari? To answer your question, this is what I would have done as president if I had any tint of integrity in me... I WILL NOT PROMOTE THE SUSPECT AND DECORATE WITH AS AIG. Even American cops later acquitted resign their jobs, although the court declared them innocent. They remaining in duty gives a false impression of the police to the people. Talk less of getting a promotion. That's a f*cking seal of approval from the authorities. You seem not only ignorant in legal matters, you seem totally clueless on administrative matters. It is standard practice all over the world that if an officer or any other administrative staff for that matter had been away from duty due to false accusations (either he was acquitted after a lengthy incarnation or was first found guilty and jailed and then discovered to be innocent and freed), all outstanding benefits would be accorded the person. In some cases damages would even be paid as compensation. Al-Mustapha was paid all his outstanding salaries for the time he was in jail, promoted and retired. Even Ojukwu (who was pardoned) was paid all his outstanding salaries for the time he was away and retired. The promotion and retirement of police officers is not the perogative of the president but of the Police Sevice commission Illuminate your ignorance a bit by reading the Nigerian constitution; Part II |
The irony of this case is that I knew the junior brother of this Police officer (also a police officer) who was a good friend when this incident took place, so I know for sure that Ibrahim Danjuma ordered the killing of those Igbo traders. The problem was for the officers that actually shot the traders to prove to a judge ( beyond reasonable doubt) that they were actually ordered by Danjuma to kill the Apo six. They needed to provide evidence and not hearsay evidence, only then could the actual officers that pulled the trigger be exonerated. |
kettykings:Since the court acquitted the suspect the government had no choice but to reinstate him and promote him as due, else he could take the FG to court over undue victimization. |
ikennaf1:The bolded statement is the most stupid statement I ever read. So because suspects found guilty and sentenced to death "indicted" someone, that means the person is guilty and must be convicted also. Is that Igbo logic or the way Igbo legal system works? Why did the convicted suspects not exercise their constitutional rights and appeal the case all the way to the supreme Court. What of you and other interested Igbo organizations, why not appeal the case? Or you guys are only adept at always playing the victim card; ON SOCIAL MEDIA. So you now blame Buhari for a case that had been dismissed by the courts? what would you have done if your were in power, dismiss or even sentence a man to death That the courts have acquitted? If anyone was to be blamed, should it not be the judge that presided over the case? This is a case that span 4 administrations? The crime was committed under Obasanjo administration in 2005 and the case was in court for 12 years. A court case is judged base on EVIDENCE and not on sentiments or emotions. Even in the US Police officers that shot black teens or young men had been acquitted based on lack of evidence. O.J Simpson was acquired by a jury of 12 for lack of evidence (or bungled investigation by the police). You can read further on the judgements of the court here - https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/225683-apo-six-judge-freed-three-police-officers-sentenced-two-death.html/amp |
budaatum:Did you take a look at the video you posted? If you did, you will see that the IG was trying to avoid speaking as it was his lawyer that was attempting to respond to the allegations. The senators shouted down the lawyer and insisted the IQ answer for himself. The IG read a prepared statement for less than 1 mins (actually about 50 secs ) and it was riddled with errors and mis-pronounciations. Eventually it was his lawyer that spoke for over 3 mins of the 4 minutes video. Please post another video of the IG giving a speech, this one does not flatter him at all. |
progress69:Then provide us the actual undoctored video so we can compare to see the sections that was doctored. The Cable should be able to do that. As I said, provide a video where he had read a speech before now. Why will a learned speaker, especially one that claimed to hold 2 degrees, one being a law degree find it hard to read a simple speech? Was this his first time of making a speech publicly? You said he had read numerous speeches in the past, so what happened this time? |
progress69:Please do us all a big favour and provide YouTube videos of the IG reading a speech flawlessly. Thanks in advance. |
sprints1:Your president can't communicate effectively? Is that a joke or just an irony. Maybe you are not a nigerian and maybe your country's president can't communicate effectively. Buhari had sat with Christiane Amanpour and was grilled for over 30 minutes. Buhari had sat with Trump just a couple of weeks ago and was asked questions by the international media. Buhari had campaigned rigourously for 3 elections and finally won the last one. So it is not possible for anyone to opine that Buhari cannot read a speech or communicate effectively. |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Attacks by Fulani herdsmen during Jonathan's tenure; 1. February 2013 Fulani Attacked Agatu burning Inoli, Ologba, olegeje, olegogboche, olegede, Adana, Inminy and Abugbe communities. Many lives lost.So where are the developments, did Jonathan carry the developments with him to Otuoke? We still see developments left behind by the British since independence. |
PaulArturo:I didn’t know codeine is sweet. I hardly get cough and can't remember taking any cough syrup in the last 20 years. How do you know codeine itself is sweet? Codeine syrup might me sweet but Codeine itself might not be sweet. Sugar or other sweeteners might have been added to make the syrup sweet. Real honey and lime works wonders on stubborn cough. |
Moghalu4Pres:Why won't it rise proportionately? Foreign reserves has been rising proportionately since oil has started picking up and has risen to be one of the highest in Africa. |
magicminister: THIS WAS THE SAME PRICE OIL WAS WHEN OKONJO-IWEALA WAS TELLING US TO BRACE FOR TOUGHER TIMES AHEAD AND STARTED BORROWING TO PAY SALARIES. THE SAME CAPITAL PROJECTS JONATHAN INVESTED IN WHEN OIL ROSE TO $130. IF BOKO HARAM SHOULD OVERRUN MAIDUGURI, ABUJA OR EVEN YOUR VILLAGE, WOULD YOU STILL BE TALKING ABOUT INFRASTRUCTURE? AND YOU WILL STILL BE BLAMING BUHARI FOR IT. THE SAME WORLD CLASS HOSPITALS AND WORLD CLASS UNIVERSITY THAT JONATHAN USEDTHE OIL WINDFALL AT OVER $100 FOR OVER 4 YEARS BUILT. SO BUYING MILITARY AIRCRAFT IS A WASTE? THAT MEANS ALL COUNTRY'S THAT BUYS MILITARY AIRCRAFTS ARE WASTING THEIR MONEY. ARE YOU AWARE THAT OUR NEIGHBOURING COUNTRIES HAS ALSO BE " WASTING" MONEY BUYING MILITARY AIRCRAFTS. I'LL EQUIPPED TERRORISTS GROUP THAT WAS ABLE TO CAPTURE OVER 14 LOCAL GOVERNMENTS UNDER YOUR HERO AND MADE YOUR HERO DREAD GOING TO THE NORTH EAST NOT TO TALK OF SAMBISA FOREST. |
