Any proof of that hypothesis.

not all fingers are equal bro
Then why are you postulating that sex (outside marrige) would render a man a failure.
RomanceRe: Is It True That Pre Marital Sex Destroys People Spiritually? by wirinet(m): 9:51pm On Jul 17, 2018
Alariiwo:
Yes in a way..

For every person you have sex with, you deposit a fragment of your spirit in them and theirs in you. Even if you don't see them again, their fortunes and misfortunes have a way of interfering with your life.

Reason why sex is okay for married couples who run things together and are biblically one.
Bullshit!
Then how come people like president Donald Trump and many other highly successful men are renowned for their sexual prowess.

Even Solomon with all his thousands of wives and concubines was highly successful.

The reverse is even the case, men with high sexual energy tend to also have high physical and mental energy.

What do you mean by funding education alone? The options are to expand current ones and build more. Local governments and state governments have plenty of ways to fund higher education. Example local governments can form districts to build polytechnics commuity colleges.

The qualified lectures is all about vetting new hires. The going through quagmire or firing tenor profesdors and unionized professors. The university president how to institute policy of continuing education for staff. Its frankly absurd for a any professional to stop learning after getting degree whether they be in the private sector or academia. Thats why you find professors who dont understand how to use emails or update curriculums.

Private universities can step in but they will naturally be more expensive. Again if you dont like the prices or admission requirements nobody forces them to attend. They are free to go to universities where professors strike ever year over what ever.

If they government wants to give tax breaks they are free to. The loans are ok as long as its capped or else prices will increase. All land is vested in state so state governments are free to do it anytime.
Government agrees that the private universities are the the future.

The Coalition called on the international community to condemn what it called the ‘ political terrorism ’ that took place against the people of Ekiti state on Saturday stressing that their voice against the actions of the Federal Government , INEC and Security agents will help put pressure on the government to do the right thing .
No international organization and i mean NO INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION, can use such undiplomatic, uncouth and provocative language against a sovereign government. it sounds more like what you would hear on Radio biafra or from the mouth of Fani-Kayode or Omokri.

There is no lesson to learn here....the only lesson to learn is for people like Goodluck Jonathan who said his ambition is not worth the blood of Nigerians..

Nigerians does not deserve such magnanimity and good sportsmanship..yet.
Please quit quoting that line as the most important thing Jonathan achieved throughout his tenure, it's getting stale. Even though I am one of those who appreciated the gesture, I am getting tired of hearing it.

If he had not conceded defeat peacefully, his own blood and that of his family might be among the blood of Nigerians he would have paid for his ambition.

This thread pretty interesting since it poses many open ended questions. I think it deserves front page. Maybe we can get some answers and simple solutions.

If theres a shortage of tertiary institutions states and local governments should establish them. One issue is the currenty schools that exist are underfunded. These campus require mainly tax money to run and maintain. Then students may have to be willing to pay more to attend.
Government (whether federal, state or local) can no longer fund university education alone, because of sheer number of candidates seeking admission. The existing federal universities are overcrowded, underfunded and no qualified lecturers. Private universities are using the situation to exploit Nigerians seeking higher education. Atiku, OBJ and some others have exploited these situation by charging exorbitant prices and absurd admission conditions.

What we need is to declare a state of emergency on the education sector. Education professionals and the government should get together and chart an educational policy that is relevant to our economy and nation. A new curriculum should be designed from primary school to university level.
Incentives such as loans, tax breaks and cheap land should be provided for genuine investors in the education sector. If government is ready to provide land, grazing reserves and ranches for cow herders, why not provide the same incentives to educational investors, on which the very survival of the country depends on.

So, are you advocating for more tertiary institutions to be created?

If yes, where are the jobs for those who graduate from the system?
Obviously.

There is a direct correlation between development and the number and standard of tertiary institutions a country has.

A reasonable government would design an educational policy that would foster it's developmental objectives and agenda. In Nigeria there is no educational agenda, citizens just go to school with the sole aim of collecting certificates.

220 higher institutions is grossly inadequate for a population of close to 200million.

Now, have you sat down to ask yourself why Nigerian graduate are unable to find work? It it because there are no work, there are no demand for goods and services, they are not skilled enough to find or create work or simply because they are lazy?

How can you say there is no work in a country with a population of 200 million? Will the whole 200 million people not eat everyday, not drink, not wear cloths, not fall sick, etc. Nigeria is seen as a gold mind by other developed and developing countries. Countries like Morocco are ready to do anything to get free access into the Nigerian market.

It's because our president is an illiterate
It is because our present president is illiterate that Nigeria had only been able to build only 220 tertiary institutions after close to 60 years after independence and trillions of dollars of oil money?
PoliticsWhy Most Brilliant Nigerian Students Can't Get Admission by wirinet(op): 6:14am On Jul 15, 2018
USA has 6,426 higher institutions. They admit over 95% of students that apply for admission.

China has 5,852 higher institutions that admit almost 98%.

Nigeria has less 220 higher institutions that can only admit 22% of UTME students.

There are 187,941 accredited primary schools in Nigeria feeding 104,434 secondary schools. How come these 104,434 secondary schools are feeding less than 220 higher institutions? Wahala dey oo!..

An average of 1.7million candidates sit for UTME every year but only 410,000 are admitted..
Worst still, these 220 schools turn out around 320,000 graduates every year and less than 15% of them get a job each year. E jikwem ogu o.

N/B - 39,620 Nigerian students are studying abroad.

I am with you on this one. Estimated billing is illegal. It is like MTN distributing the bill among all users on a master equally irrespective of usage.

I feel we can only get justice with the judiciary as the executives and legislative have failed us.

Let's form a whatsapp group.

The thing is lots of complications can arise form the guy going there. He can even be accused of the tape himself. It doesn't change the fact that he was cold though.
Contrary, the guy was not cold and very considerate, else he would not be pouring his heart out here on nairaland.

He told the girl that if she went to the party, the relationship is over, and she chose to go. What does that tell you.

Nigerians have to learn to start taking responsibility for their actions, instead of pushing it to someone else or look someone else to blame, ie witches, neighbours, family, demons, etc.

Is cheating not misbehaviour? Have people not been forgiven and gone on to forge stronger bonds after having been caught cheating?
Different strokes for different folks. Cheating is a no no for me. I have never forgiven a girlfriend that cheated on me. I have never cheated and I don't condone cheating.

So what do you want the guy to do? Bear the cost and consequences of his girlfriends cheating? Pay for her medical and legal expenses?
You know the girl would need to be taken to hospital to test for HIV and other STDs. What happens if she becomes pregnant, who will bear the consequences?

There's a saying that the fox must be chased away first, after which the hen be warned about straying into the bush. The lady misbehaved, but the guy was way too cold.
The lady misbehaved? Are you saying going to a party with another guy without the knowledge or permission is termed misbehaving? In other climes, it is called cheating.
Even if she was not raped, the relationship should be over the moment the guy discovered she went to the party with another guy. After establishing the facts of the relationship, the guy can assist in helping the lady get justice.

As per the rifle, no particular rifle is for ctu...that's an ak47 rifle used by npf
With all these security forces guarding the governor carrying AK47, how come a policeman or some policemen were able to get to the governor and brutalize him to the extent that he was wearing neck and arm casts
PoliticsRe: Photos Of Fayose With Neck Collar & Arm Sling After Police Teargassed Him by wirinet(m): 3:31pm On Jul 12, 2018
Fayose should join Nollywood, he would make better actor than Mr Ibu.

If you believe that teargas was thrown into a crowd and only Fayose was affected then you need to check your inteligence.

If you believe that a policeman or policemen can walk up to a sitting governor and brutalize him in spite of loads of security details (including personal thugs), no other person was touched and no witnesses, then you need to check your sanity.

And the same Jonathan threw caution to the wind in 2014 when he was in power;

APC Govs stopped from entering Ekiti
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has raised the alarm that its Governors are being prevented by security agencies apparently acting on ”orders from above” from travelling to Ado-Ekiti for the party’s final campaign on Friday for the Ekiti State Governorship election on Friday. In a statement issued in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said at least three Governors – Adams Oshiomhole of Edo, Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers and Rabiu Kwankwanso of Kano – have so far been prevented from making the trip

It said the helicopter that was to ferry Gov. Oshiomhole from Benin to Ado-Ekiti was refused permission to take off from the Benin Airport, while the plane that was flying Gov. Kwankwanso to Akure was denied permission to land. According to the APC, while the plane carrying Gov. Amaechi actually landed in Akure, his convoy was stopped at the border between Ondo and Ekiti States and ordered to turn back, because he would not be allowed to reach Ado-Ekiti. The party said while Gov. Amaechi’s convoy was being detained in order to force him to turn back, the convoys of the Ministers of Defence and Police Affairs came and were allowed to pass.

Nigeria democracy under Alhaji General Mohomodu Buhary is under threat.

Police Attack Governor Fayemi And Senator Ojudu During APC Rally In Ado Ekiti
A police team led by Gabriel Seleke, a Bayelsa -born MOPOL commander who was former Goodluck Jonathan's Aide De camp when he was Deputy governor in Bayelsa state unleashed violence on All Progressives Congress (APC) members as they embarked on an early morning street rally in Ado -Ekiti. The attack took place in Ijigbo area. The police tear gassed party members and directly shot and killed one person during the attack. MOPOL Commander Seleke also had a verbal altercation with Governor Kayode Fayemi on the scene, a commissioner in the state and one of Fayemi's security aides were later arrested by the police team.

You think the United Nations, United States of America, Britain and European Union do not have anything better to do than to waste their men and resources on Nigeria's stupid political shenanigans.

As i always say, what goes around comes around.

Now, Buhari only needs to load a planeload of money and ferry them to zenith bank in Ado Ekiti with a battalion of soldiers for election rigging in order to get even with PDP which you guys love so much.
