Everyday we hear news of alleged islamic terrorist group in different part of the world attacking and killing civilians or Government agencies, you hear news of people been killed because they are non- muslims. The 9/11 attack on the US has led many non-Muslims to indict Islam as a violent religion. But recently, the Pew Research Center's 2013 poll showed that the majority of Muslims in most Muslim countries oppose terrorism. But, Islamic doctrines and texts have in some cases been associated with violence and intolerance. Which is assumed to be the bases of the terror attacks. News recently emerged that Russia was banning key Islamic scriptures—including Sahih Bukhari—on the charge that they promote a "militant Islam" which "arouses ethnic, religious enmity." Under christianity, the Hebrew Scriptures, more widely known as the "Old Testament" is also replete with violence and intolerance—all prompted by the Judeo-Christian God. But the difference between the violent passages in the Koran and those in the Old Testament is that, whereas the Old Testament is clearly describing historic episodes, the Koran also developed within a historical context but uses generic, open-ended language that transcends time and space, inciting believers to attack and slay nonbelievers today no less than yesterday. In the old testament, God commands the Hebrews to fight and kill "Hittites," "Amorites," "Canaanites," "Perizzites," "Hivites," and "Jebusites"— this are all specific people rooted to a specific time and place; all specific peoples that have not existed for millennia. At no time did God give an open-ended command for the Hebrews, example, to fight and kill all unbelievers. The problem in islam however, is that rarely if ever does the Koran specify who its antagonists are the way the Old Testament does. Instead, Muslims were commanded to fight the "People of the Book," which Islamic exegesis interprets as people with scriptures, namely, Christians and Jews - "until they pay the jizya with willing submissiveness and feel themselves utterly subdued" ( verse 9:29) and to "slay the idolaters wherever you find them" (verse 9:5). This violent commandments in islamic scripture are all open ended and generic in nature - "Fight them until there is no more chaos and [all] religion belongs to Allah" (Koran 8:39). The danger in it all, is that there are still "People of the Book" ( unbelievers) who have yet to "feel themselves utterly subdued" (especially all throughout the Americas, Europe, and Israel) and "idolaters" to be slain "wherever" one looks (especially Asia and sub-Saharan Africa). Some other verses of the korean which have be held to incite violence includes: Then when the Sacred Months (the Ist, 7th, 11th, and 12th months of the Islamic calendar) have passed, then kill the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and prepare for them each and every ambush. But if they repent and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat(charity), then leave their way free. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (korean 9:5) I will cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, so strike [them] upon the necks [behead them] and strike from them every fingertip (Koran 8:12). Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allah, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islam) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. ( Koran 9:29) Although, their are many Moslems who do not support the violence and killings in the name of Allah, but the truth be say that as long as the Koran proliferates and is read as God's literal word, most of its readers will continue to exist in a dichotomized world, themselves versus the rest. What happened in between the lines? You speculate, you obsess, you rationalize, you justify. You want to know why. When your friends tell you, "It's not you, it's him," you want to know if they're trying to be nice or telling you the truth. Guess what? There is someone who does know the truth about what really happened on your fabulous date. But it's not you. It's not your friends. And it's certainly not your mother. It's the guy you went out with. He wouldn't tell you because he doesn't want to hurt your ego, he feels the best thing to do is to vanish. He smiles throughout the time he on a date with you, but inside his mind he like " i can't wait to vanish". Many times we often send out negative signals we might not be aware of. Like girls , guys can be self conscious too, and if he don’t think you want him to call, he definitely won’t. This are 7 reasons why a guy may never call again after first date: 1. You are boring: I don't mean to sound harsh here, but Most girls always feel that it's a guy's duty to entertain them with jokes and stories when on a first date while she relax to watch the show. He asked you lots of questions, and you gave him a minimal response in an unexcited tone. You never cared to ask him any questions, or the only question you care to ask him is "what do you do for a living?". My dear, you are boring, 10 minutes with you will seem like one hour, because you are not really participating in the conversation, and you expect him to call you again for a second date? Babe, Na vanishing things o 2. Acting like a boss lady: Most girls do this. She tries to intimidate the guy by telling him things like how rich her family is, and how she can survive without a man, or how she doesn't take poo from men. This often make the guy thinks you have a prickly attitude and imagines that smuggling with you is like hugging a porcupine in a pin-striped business suit. Your are perceived as argumentative, controlling, overly independent, and not feminine or warm. Humble yourself, the guy will respect you more when he finds out (by himself) about how successful and secure you are . Try showing your warm, sensitive side first by talking about your adorable little nephew. 3. Refusing to eat or drink: Most girls think not ordering dinner or drink will make them appear skinnier, prettier, sexier, more feminine, or more mysterious, guess what? It won’t. What it will do is probably make the dude a little uncomfortable, especially if he takes you to a restaurant. Men often read it that you are only refusing food and drink because you just want the meeting to be brief, you don't intend to spend much time with him. How do you expect him to be comfortable eating and drinking, while you mop at him like a little rabbit. It's dam boring and he is likely won't call for a second date. Na vanishing things. 4. Obsessively checking your phone every minute: This includes Texting, taking a phone call or just glancing at your phone screen every minute. I'm not saying you shouldn't make use of your phone while on date, if you genuinely have to and you are apologetic, that’s fine. Otherwise, it's a red flag. There is nothing ruder than trying to have a conversation with a person who’s constantly stating at their screens. It makes you look disinterested in whatever he is saying. And he just can't wait to vanish. 5. You asked for more refreshment (Oliver twist): He buys you a drink and you tell him you don't drink without meat, or asking for more stuffs. You don't know how much he has with him, then why ask for more? It only shows you are a self-centered person who doesn't care about other people's feeling. If he buys more , lucky you, but if he doesn't , don't request. Some girls will even go to the extend of requesting for take away, so she can take home for her friends or siblings. And yet you expect him to call you for a second date? Na vanishing things dear. 6. You didn’t at least offer to pay for anything: A girl who is going out on a first date with a guy should put some little cash in her bag to avoid any embarrassment. When it's time for payment , offer to split the bill. Normally, the guy will decline your offer and insist to pay, but he will be impressed by your gesture and will respect you for that. Sitting back all night eating and drinking without offering to split the bill, makes you look like a hungry gold digger. That could be why he vanished. 7. You showed a sign of eagerness: yeah, most girls do this ,and it's bad. You text or call him immediately after the date to thank him; I am not saying text or calling a guy after a date to thank him is bad, but it's the way you do it that matters. If you had a good time and feel like sending him a casual text the next day that says “had a great time, thanks again!”, That's good . But sending a casual text the next day that says "OMG so I know I only left you a few minutes ago, but I had the best time ever, you are sooooo amazing and I can’t wait to see u again". My last write up really got me a lot of hate speech from the ladies. Some called me a misogynist. Today, I decide to side with the ladies , to tell the dudes annoying things they unknowingly do that irritates girls, even though they wouldn't say because she fear you might misunderstand her. Knowing what women find annoying about men is invaluable not only because they are habits that you may not realize you do but also because it gives you an opportunity to break those habits and improve your relationship with the Fairer sex. Here are 15 annoying things guys often do that women hates but wouldn't say: 1. Scratching your ball. yeah, most guys often do this. Scratching their ball like their life depends on it. Girls hate the sight of that. That's when you here a girl ask question like "is that place scratching you?" What she actually mean is "you must be sick to do that" .They would rather prefer to scratch it for you rather then to see you do the scratching yourself (disgusting). Some guys think it's sexy, know it now that girls hate it. If you don't believe this, then try this, ask your girlfriend "baby do you like it when I scratch my ball?" And watch her facial reaction (disgusting). 2. Leaving the hand inside the pants (mostly done after the ball scratching). oh! guys often do this. You scratch your balls finish (that's not enough for you), you still unconsciously leave your hand in there like a 3yrs old boy . Girls hate that. That's when you hear her say things like " you like putting your hand there", what she actually mean is "please stop it , I hate it, if you want to play with yourself tell me let me give you some privacy". 3. Putting your arm around your girl while walking together: Guys are so possessive when it's comes to woman. You see a guy put his arm around his girl to indirectly tell other guys to "keep off" "she is my babe". But, you know what , she hate it. You want to know why? Because it weights her down and give her hunchback, make her sweat profusely- it spoils her makeup. Guys have stronger bones, while women have tender bones; so why on earth did you place a heavy load on your girl and expect her to carry it around happily. Yeah, she might be smiling in pain, but in her mind she is like " WTF! this dude is killing me here". She will rather prefer to put her arm around you instead. 4. Always wants her to go out with you to hangout with your friends, but never agrees to go out with her to hangout with her own friends. Most guys are guilty of this, and girls hate it. Girls like showing off their guy to their friends (especially when he is handsome and rich), so she wants you to follow her out once in a while to go hangout with her friends. But, guys don't like that, and girls hate that they don't. To guys it's boring hanging out with bunch of girls who are casual friends, it's a waste of time and money. Girls hate that she goes out with you every time to hangout with your friends, but whenever she suggest hanging out with her friends you react like she just asked you to eat poo . 5. Putting your stuffs in her handbag when about to go out with her. Guys do this all the time and girls hate it, this is because most of this things are heavy (camera, handy games, can beers e.t.c ) and it weight her down, and the most annoying part of it all is that they (guys) ends up not using the stuff. Girls hate it like hell. 6. Giving observations instead of complimenting her. Girls like their guy complimenting them without them asking for it, but guys hardly do that and girls hates that they don't . Guys usually give observations rather than compliment. Example : Guy: " wow! You changed your hair." Girl: "yes, do you like it?" Guy: "yes I do ". Girls hates it , girls want the first thing you say as you see them to be "wow! I like your new hair".Unfortunately , guys hardly do that, girls hates that they don't. 7. Thrusting your joystick while she is blowing you. Many guys do this, Know it now that girls hate that. If you want to thrust, thrust the right hole , not her mouth. She hates it. You don't need to be a girl to know that someone thrusting some rod-like thing into your mouth will make you feel like being choked to death. Trust me, she hates it . Stop it. 8. When you shave with blunt razor, it hurts her face, and she hates it. Most guys shave with blunt razor , it's not good , it leaves some tiny short sharp beards which pokes her face anytime she tries to kiss you or perk you. That's when you see her ask blind question like "did you shave?" , but in her mind she actually mean to say " you are hurting my face, I don't want to kiss or perk you again until you shave properly". 10. You don't know how to be quiet early in the morning if she is still sleeping. Girls are careful by nature unlike guys. A girl will wake up before a guy in the morning, do her things (brush her teeth, prepare breakfast) silently without waking up the guy. But, when a guy wakes up before a girl, he makes a lot of noise ( put on the television, play music , whistling with his mouth like a morning bird) without minding that she is still sleeping. Guys often do that, and girls hate it. 11. Acting too nice when with her (Mr. Nice guy). Girls fall for mr. Nice guys only in Nollywood movies, in reality, girls hates them. You open the car door for her, say "thank you" to her for allowing you buy her a drink, say "yes" to all her request, bundle her with love text everyday, going to her facebook wall to thank her for accepting your friend request e.t.c , you are a mr. Nice guy, and girls hate you for that. In her eyes, your niceness signifies weak and boring. She wants excitement. She wants mystery, surprise, drama, adventure. Nice guys often ends up on the friend zone. 12. You make her do boring shits like play video games or watch foreign (Hollywood) action movies with you. Yeah, she will accept and do it with you , but she hates it. It's bored the hell out of her. She will rather prefer to watch Nigeria (Nollywood) movies instead or sleep rather than play your boring video games with you. 13. Trying to have sex with her when you come back home drunk dead. By EGUFE YAFUGBORHI WARRI—A girl, Omasan, 21, allegedly murdered her younger brother, Laju, in Ugbuwangue, Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, yesterday. Laju, a student of Yonwuren College, was said to have bled to death from a stab to his chest by Omasan, following a disagreement over sharing of house chores. Trouble, Vanguard learned, started when Laju, the only male child of the family, insisted that he had already fetched water and was too tired to do any other chore. A family source said in the fight that ensued, the boy reportedly brought Omasan down and ran away. The sister dashed into the kitchen, grabbed a knife, pursued and stabbed Laju in the chest. “He fell to the ground, screaming, and calling for help as neighbours rushed to his rescue,” the source said. The victim was confirmed dead at the Warri Central Hospital, where doctors revealed that he had lost too much blood. Omasan’s attempt to run away from her crime failed as she was caught and handed over to the police. The family source added: “These kinds of fights and quarrels have been recurring in the home. They have always fought and settled, but this particular one just got out of hand.” At press time, Laju had been buried in front of his father’s compound in the Itsekiri community in Warri. My last write up really got me a lot of hate speech from the ladies. Some called me a misogynist. Today, I decide to side with the ladies , to tell the dudes annoying things they unknowingly do that irritates girls, even though they wouldn't say because she fear you might misunderstand her. Knowing what women find annoying about men is invaluable not only because they are habits that you may not realize you do but also because it gives you an opportunity to break those habits and improve your relationship with the Fairer sex. Here are 15 annoying things guys often do that women hates but wouldn't say: 1. Scratching your ball. yeah, most guys often do this. Scratching their ball like their life depends on it. Girls hate the sight of that. That's when you here a girl ask question like "is that place scratching you?" What she actually mean is "you must be sick to do that" .They would rather prefer to scratch it for you rather then to see you do the scratching yourself (disgusting). Some guys think it's sexy, know it now that girls hate it. If you don't believe this, then try this, ask your girlfriend "baby do you like it when I scratch my ball?" And watch her facial reaction (disgusting). 2. Leaving the hand inside the pants (mostly done after the ball scratching). oh! guys often do this. You scratch your balls finish (that's not enough for you), you still unconsciously leave your hand in there like a 3yrs old boy . Girls hate that. That's when you hear her say things like " you like putting your hand there", what she actually mean is "please stop it , I hate it, if you want to play with yourself tell me let me give you some privacy". 3. Putting your arm around your girl while walking together: Guys are so possessive when it's comes to woman. You see a guy put his arm around his girl to indirectly tell other guys to "keep off" "she is my babe". But, you know what , she hate it. You want to know why? Because it weights her down and give her hunchback, make her sweat profusely- it spoils her makeup. Guys have stronger bones, while women have tender bones; so why on earth did you place a heavy load on your girl and expect her to carry it around happily. Yeah, she might be smiling in pain, but in her mind she is like " WTF! this dude is killing me here". She will rather prefer to put her arm around you instead. 4. Always wants her to go out with you to hangout with your friends, but never agrees to go out with her to hangout with her own friends. Most guys are guilty of this, and girls hate it. Girls like showing off their guy to their friends (especially when he is handsome and rich), so she wants you to follow her out once in a while to go hangout with her friends. But, guys don't like that, and girls hate that they don't. To guys it's boring hanging out with bunch of girls who are casual friends, it's a waste of time and money. Girls hate that she goes out with you every time to hangout with your friends, but whenever she suggest hanging out with her friends you react like she just asked you to eat poo . 5. Putting your stuffs in her handbag when about to go out with her. Guys do this all the time and girls hate it, this is because most of this things are heavy (camera, handy games, can beers e.t.c ) and it weight her down, and the most annoying part of it all is that they (guys) ends up not using the stuff. Girls hate it like hell. 6. Giving observations instead of complimenting her. Girls like their guy complimenting them without them asking for it, but guys hardly do that and girls hates that they don't . Guys usually give observations rather than compliment. Example : Guy: " wow! You changed your hair." Girl: "yes, do you like it?" Guy: "yes I do ". Girls hates it , girls want the first thing you say as you see them to be "wow! I like your new hair".Unfortunately , guys hardly do that, girls hates that they don't. 7. Thrusting your joystick while she is blowing you. Many guys do this, Know it now that girls hate that. If you want to thrust, thrust the right hole , not her mouth. She hates it. You don't need to be a girl to know that someone thrusting some rod-like thing into your mouth will make you feel like being choked to death. Trust me, she hates it . Stop it. 8. When you shave with blunt razor, it hurts her face, and she hates it. Most guys shave with blunt razor , it's not good , it leaves some tiny short sharp beards which pokes her face anytime she tries to kiss you or perk you. That's when you see her ask blind question like "did you shave?" , but in her mind she actually mean to say " you are hurting my face, I don't want to kiss or perk you again until you shave properly". 10. You don't know how to be quiet early in the morning if she is still sleeping. Girls are careful by nature unlike guys. A girl will wake up before a guy in the morning, do her things (brush her teeth, prepare breakfast) silently without waking up the guy. But, when a guy wakes up before a girl, he makes a lot of noise ( put on the television, play music , whistling with his mouth like a morning bird) without minding that she is still sleeping. Guys often do that, and girls hate it. 11. Acting too nice when with her (Mr. Nice guy). Girls fall for mr. Nice guys only in Nollywood movies, in reality, girls hates them. You open the car door for her, say "thank you" to her for allowing you buy her a drink, say "yes" to all her request, bundle her with love text everyday, going to her facebook wall to thank her for accepting your friend request e.t.c , you are a mr. Nice guy, and girls hate you for that. In her eyes, your niceness signifies weak and boring. She wants excitement. She wants mystery, surprise, drama, adventure. Nice guys often ends up on the friend zone. 12. You make her do boring shits like play video games or watch foreign (Hollywood) action movies with you. Yeah, she will accept and do it with you , but she hates it. It's bored the hell out of her. She will rather prefer to watch Nigeria (Nollywood) movies instead or sleep rather than play your boring video games with you. 13. Trying to have sex with her when you come back home drunk dead.
