from information gathered the agents have to deposit for visa; I tired doing visa for a friend myself; I was told by the visa company that visa is 1350aed but I must pay deposit of 5000aed... that's the problem agents pay this deposits.. and then try to recover for the deposit

Thanks for your enlightenment.... I was told to pay the remaining money when the work visa is out. What we discussed was a teaching job and never a non certificate jobs. He told me to update my CV and put that I have had 2 years experience teaching in primary school and 2 years in secondary school. Is there any way I can verify if is teaching job or not when the work Visa is out? Please someone should guild me so that I will not be ripped off my heard earned money. He told me that the school will provide me with accommodation and be paying me 3000 dirham. Thanks for your informed suggestion.

Only God's Grace can help any Nigerian get a job here. It can be easy to get a job sha, if you can pay for your employment visa fee which is usually between 400k-850k. Yes, most employers will ask you to pay for your employment visa/Emirate ID, THAT IS THE TRUTH.

So y'all should come prepared. Getting a job in Uae can be so so so frustrating, especially if you're not coming for professional jobs. Some of my friends working in a factory, had to pay 300k as their visa fee before employment, and are still getting certain % deducted from their little salary at the end of every month, the deduction is for the balance of their employment visa fee.

You guys should come well prepared. And pray for Grace!

And don't mind any mumu agent asking you to pay 100k for any kinda job, be it aluminum helper, construction helper, car wash, restaurant/kitchen helper etc, most of the time, they won't process emirate ID for you. After wasting the validity of your visa working with them, you'd have to return to Nigeria because they would never process your employment visa. You may not even get paid for the months you worked with them, Eyes Don see. So Be wise!

Yes most agents are wicked; I have stayed in UAE awhile and ur story is true; but there are some people I know myself inclusive; we never paid for any jobs and we are working in an Okay company; u met the wrong people or maybe can I say UAE is not the place for you.. there are many frustrating stories so are there many good stories dont give up.. Advise! those that are to come to UAE trust no one including urself its that bad; and be determined to get a job without any agent... there are jobs here what you need is God and right advise... I pray for you all to succeed...

ladies don't book appointment as at yesterday but today things change a little bcoz they were unable to attend to everyone yesterday, and today the ladies was asked to stay outside until they attend to people who were booked yesterday..... booking of appointments was meant for guys... you can tell her to visit the embassy tomorrow she should be allow, only if the process was changed after I left there 3 hours ago.....

Agents here really frustrate people; God has just been on myside; I came to UAE June 2017 I have changed my job once all in a good company; best of bests; always apply online leave agents; only 1% agent works...... I met a friend from Higher institution in Ajam; I almost wept: his agent collected 1.8m from him for visa and job no flight..... My first job I got was a link from this nairaland page; someone posted...... God help us all!

I got my new job because am Nigerian; my old job because am Nigerian.. God decides all. I don't think its particular to any nationality..

Nepali guys wan set you up. two options. 1. Head to the airport if you know and sure say u nor fit do the job and also wan go back to naija. because if they get your passport back no way for even this option again. 2. Serve up to 8-12 months then resign. start looking for job from sixth month. non of this options involve Nepalese so avoid them.

perfect answer; to add look at your situation at home and decide if it's better to stay or leave! some companies will ask u to pay them after resignation; check if ur contract is limited or unlimited; if unlimited you can resign after 6 months if limited u can't resign until two years or one year. Don't give up.. God guide u

Fear Nothing Joor, just ensure u have ur OTB and cross check it with the airline u are flying and be sure its Ok, OTB is free in UAE depending on the airline, but in Nigeria its expensive to the tone of 20k or more, just ensure ur bag is not overloaded, and talk less if u are asked much questions just be nice and play with them, nothing to be afraid of, I advise u airticket be booked from UAE and the OTB be done in UAE, so they will just verify it at the airport in Nigeria before u fly out.

Hold an ATM card even if its empty, if for any reason u are asked to show PTA just tell them it is loaded on ur card. But PTA is only asked for tourist visa.

HI Guys I am already in UAE and working for about 9 months now, please does the police clearance affect those who want to change jobs, or for new comers only?

I dont understand why UAE governement is making things difficult now, my colleagues Philippines and Indians cant have there contracts renewed if they dont have attested certificate, so meaning no certificate/attestation no job.
