I received with shock, news of the passing of your mother, Deaconess Comfort Melaye. Words are insufficient to condole one on a mother's death, but I do urge you to take solace in the life that she lived. I have no doubt that mama’s impact and reach will continue to be felt through her offspring.

On behalf of the Great People of Kogi State, my family and myself, I offer you our deep condolences while praying the Almighty God to grant you and the rest of the Melaye family the grace to endure this irreparable loss.

Do keep us notified of funeral plans.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar are among the country’s former leaders to share N2.3 billion from 2019 Budget already passed by the Senate.
The Senate had passed N8.906 trillion as budget for the year 2019.
The payment of N2.3 billion is for the entitlements of former President/Heads of States and Vice Presidents/Chief of General Staff.
Other to benefits from N2.3 billion are former Head of States Yakubu Gowon, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, Abdulsalam Abubakar and Goodluck Jonathan.
