So far, the "wonderful" govt of anambra state seems to be farming only in pictures on social media. And announcing their "success" with so much fanfare and propaganda. It is disgusting.
Pls, I want to know. Where exactly in anambra state are all these govt farms located. I want to see it. I want to learn something from their "wonderful" techniques.

If there is a drop of oil in the SE the Igbo's won't be hustling hard to lure the SS into biafra by force. Keep deceiving yourselves I hope you did not fall out from Shi*t. Politics › Re: Farmers To Pay Fee For Protection – Ogbeh by wiseoneking: 10:06am On Jul 22, 2016 |
mrkayusfit: In my opinion i think the farmers are self centered. Remember these herdsmen are Nigerians and they have the right to live and do their businesses any where in Nigeria. What's the big deal in allocating some portion of their farms for cattle grazing? If they were also rearing cattles, won't they graze them? The herdsmen are majorly the source of beef in the country and since everyone patronizes their meat, why can't we support the grazing bill so they can stop moving their cattles in the cities and instead have grazing fields? If every state creates grazing reserves don't you think it will limit clashes between farmers and herdsmen? I know there are bad eggs amongst the herdsmen but we can't throw away the baby and bath water. There has to be a compromise for the sake of peace.
The farmers should be ready to pay for their protection since they are doing their private business. They are not expected to buy guns to protect themselves. The government will provide security if they are ready to pay. The fulanis are not violent people, let's stop the stigmatization of herdsmen ALERT! Violent men every where. Watch and monitor this guy. Agent? |
Properties › Re: Top 5 Best Places To Live In Lagos by wiseoneking: 9:39am On Jul 22, 2016 |
mayreambarry: The city of Lagos is unarguably one of the largest and most important cities in Africa. A former capital city of Nigeria, the city of Lagos serves as the business hub and commercial nerve centre of the country. The city stands at the forefront of economic development and is regarded as the entertainment capital of West Africa. Lagos is perceived by many as a land of opportunities, this saying hold true as hundreds of buses filled with hopeful economic migrants from all parts of the country pull up at various parks in the city, eager to have a taste of the promise land. Several internationally owned companies can also be seen springing up as foreign investors and tons of expatriates have seized the opportunity to set up flourishing businesses in the state. With a rich history that can be traced back to the neo-colonial era, its role as a former capital city and its part in the struggle for independence. Lagos state has easily become the choice place to reside in Nigeria. Choosing and getting the right place to live in the city can be a little tasking, depending on cost and proximity to major business locations. Here is a list of some of the best places to live in Lagos: 1. Yaba: Yaba is a relatively inexpensive neighbourhood, strategically located between the island and ikeja, the major commercial districts in Lagos. It is home to the major tertiary institutions in the state, the University of Lagos and Yaba College of Technology. Several commercial institutions and major start-ups can be seen springing up in the area, it is fast becoming a commercial treasure trove for tech businesses. 2. Ikeja: Ikeja is the oldest serving industrial centre in Lagos. Home to various international companies and Government institutions, including the Governor’s office. Ikeja is one of the best places to live and work. It lies in close proximity to parts like Maryland and Ilupeju. Ikeja boasts of several relaxation centres, the well visited City Mall and Murtala Muhammed Airport, the busiest airport in the country. 3. Surulere: One of the best places to live in Lagos is Surulere. With several residential areas, several small businesses and malls springing up. The area is one of the most ideal residential locations in the state. 4. Magodo: Magodo and its environs lie close to Ikeja axis but with little commercial activity around. It is a quiet residential area with very little traffic congestion problem. Magodo GRA Phase 2 is located just across Alausa secretariat. 5. Victoria Island: Houses in Victoria Island are mainly for the affluent members of the society, it also serves as one of the most preferred location for large businesses and corporate headquarters. It is one of the best places to live or own a property in. Some of the Best hotels in Lagos can also be found in Victoria Island. Yaba, one of the best places to live in lagos? Nope! Surely one of the worst place because high cult rate and crime. Ikeja is ok. Magodo is just a big estate. VI/IKOYI/LEKKI axis are just upper class neighourhood. Remove island and ikeja, lagos is just like any other state. |

DaBullIT: You don't want it taxed?? tell your brothers to stop blowing up pipes
But on the other hand keep blowing them up
Nigeria is not exporting enough crude to sustain her economy and as said , desperate times call for desperate measures , if we could export and produce enough , we'd have enough revenue , but in some people's warped Logic, It's Ok to blow up pipelines because Buhari called them 5% , It is Ok for avengers to cripple the economy because they are fighting for autonomy
But same set of people come here and rant and wail about how Buhari is making life hard for them ?? Na you do you
Buhari no dey buy petrol , Buhari no dey buy gas , Buhari no dey enter transport , All na you and your people everybody go suffer am
So , Common sense Suffering and smiling. If buhari do not buy gas, you and you people do. You guys are presently worst than 5%. At least 5% did not give Buhari any vote but you 97% from SW are treated worst than 5% SE. The true 97% of the North is making mockery of you today. Northernisation AGENDA is on ground. Shame on you. Niger Delta are not benefiting from the oil, blowing it is not their concern. What is the gain of Lagos in the oil and refinery there now. They can only get 13% while the federal govt will gulp up 87% of which you are aware that more than 70% of this remaining govt 87% will go back to the Northern states. I know you are blind to see that. Awusa. I heard there is huge bitumem in ogun but 87% of it must be used to develope North while Ogun will thank the govt for 13% to them. Foolishness, while not other way round. You are excited about the crumbs. Thats how Ilorin was taking over from you today, having minority fulani ruling over a strong majority yoruba land. Today, another single hausa man is economically incharge of the Lagos and Ogun state, making him the only man that take economic decission for your region. IS ONLY WHEN YOU GUYS HEARS THAT BIAFRA WANTS TO LEAVE THAT YOU START CRYING LIKE A BABY. The wealth of SW states esp Lagos and Ogun is controlled by non indigine esp with the entry of an Hausa man Dangote who controls single handedly 4 largest private coy in the SW. Economy of SW is entirely on the so called visitors vis a vis the igbos, Dangote and Federal govt institutions. The day i see you boasting about Oshogbo, Adoekiti, ibadan etc and not Lagos aka nomansland, our former capital for 100 yrs build with SS Oil, i will start respecting you. i think your people are suffering most. Apart from Lagos our Nomansland, all SW states are owing salaries left and right. That the only zone with 5 of its 6 states struggling unlike other zones. Osun and Ekiti is the worst in Naija. |

How possible is it to plan export rice when a bag is still 15,000 naira in most part of Nigeria? Is it possible to export when you're not even self sufficient? If this is so, why is rice still being imported from Thailand, Benin and Niger Republics?
Is it that Anambra is not giving it enough publicity or what? What is this one saying.
