Anty sera has played a big role in my life and that makes her mean a lot to me, through her ,dad found happiness again

Dad has resumed work and had employed uncle Max as his manager so he won’t be occupied as much

I spend all my days with anty sera, she Pampers me where necessary and cautions me when am wrong

Am over elated,dad brought out time for us,he doesn’t fail to visit home every month

Months elapsed and her Belly grows big,I can’t wait to see my baby and I know dad’s joy will be much greater than mine

It’s quite fortunate dad’s relatives feels sorry for themselves, after the wedding, they all apologized for their inhuman acts towards dad and I and I believe mom will be happy anywhere she is

Finally, after many years of feeling rejected, I feel special many times, after all the pains I passed through in the hands of the selfish aunties I had,am forever overjoyed and have peace once again

I never stopped praying, it’s only prayer that turned things round for me, that name ALIYA has never left my mind

She’s my dearest friend and deserves the best from me,all those I expected to stay with me when I needed them most looked down on me… they never cared to know what am passing through

As days passed by,I see the changes in anty sera, she’s always strong despite all and her care over me never ceased

“It’s morning, Miss America” Gage teased stretching himself.

His head almost pulled the hut’s roof off when he stood up, he sat down again beside her.

“Are you planning on sleeping all day?” He mocked ruffling her hair playfully.

After last night, he decided to be a good friend to her, he thought throughout the night and he’s tired of lack of sleep.

Frankly, his motive was to watch her sleep peacefully in his arms while he stays awake in case the need for protection arises.

She’s not accustomed to living such a life, he understands her life has been stress-free, comfortable, and convenient.

He could swear she blames herself for deciding to do something for the first time since she was born and ending up here but he finds it intriguing.

She only wanted to do something different, he would tease her about how wrong she was but he likes her bold step into reality.

He has never felt more blessed than last night, the kiss might be a spur of the moment for her but to him, it’s a dream come true.

He can remember himself sitting comfortably in his bedroom kissing her pictures and painting her beautiful face all day.

He’s angry and jealous face when he stays awake all night long to read comments on each of her status updates from her male fans across the world.

He smiled dreamily as the whole episode of the kiss played over and over again blinding his vision, then…blood!

His eyes became red and the voices he thought were long gone came back again, he remembered the demon he was.

“No!” He covered his face and his smile faded away.

“What is it, Shadow?” Sky sprang up immediately and held his hands, “are you okay?”

“Get lost! Can’t you see I’m not fine!! And don’t call me that stupid name again!!!” He yelled and stormed out of the hut.

Sky was bewildered at his sudden behavior change, how does one explain another’s attitude switching?

She is confused at his outrage. “Wasn’t he the one smiling and teasing me just now?”

“What did I do wrong? What is wrong with him? He is obviously abnormal” she talked to herself.

She stood up quietly and went outside the hut, it was cold outside even though the sun is already rising.

He stood on one of the stones far from the hut, Sky decided to give him privacy to sort himself out, maybe something is bothering him.

My dad jammed the car’s bonnet helplessly.

He gave me a look that suggested that all hope was lost. I couldn’t help but allow premature tears formed in my eyes.

Grandmother’s look wasn’t helping either.

Her look made me think that they gonna bury my body along with grandpa’s.

She worked closer to me and snuck her aged head into the car’s door to say something into my ear.

“Do you know why are you can’t escape from me? That’s because it is a must for me to use you, tonight. My subscription has ended so, I really need your blood to renew my lifespan” she explained slowly like a wìtch that she is.

When she noticed that my dad was already walking towards us, she moved back and walked slowly to where she was standing earlier.

Sleep refused to cross Sky’s eyes, how can she sleep while she is so cold and afraid.

The fire died down after the little firewood finished burning, she shivered greatly even though Gage covered her with the only bedspread he brought.

She felt worried about him, he’s lying in another corner giving them enough space and she sensed he isn’t sleeping.

He also gave her his jacket and he must be very cold with just light trousers and a T-shirt.

Sky thanked God that insects are not much around the waterside, if there were to be anything like a mosquito, she would be dead by now.

But, it’s damn cold! This guy said he had lived there, how long? How in God’s name did he survive?

Questions that Sky knew there will never be answers to them from this anonymous guy swam around her head.

Gosh, at least he got a chance to stay in…maybe a better place inside Badlands than this half-frozen place and she just brought him back to it.

Sky gave up trying to force sleep into her eyes and reached around for the torchlight he was with.

She isn’t used to sleeping in a dark room, she doesn’t know why, but her light is always beaming in her room back home where she belongs.

Not to mention this cold and dreadful place that she hell of a lot resents than her anti-fans around the world.

She went down quietly on her hands and knees to search around for it, she knew it must be lying somewhere, probably beside him.

The whole place is goddamn dark and too cold that she wonders if the darkness added to the cold.

Sky lifted her right hand and reached where she suspected the torch will be since she could feel his slow breaths and know that she is beside him already.

Her hand caught something hard, she held it tight and made to take it so she would switch it on but it didn’t follow her hand as if he was gripping it.

“Eh, I am sorry to disturb you, Shadow, but I just need the torch, I can’t sleep without light… I…” She started pulling at it so he would free it.

Sky thought it strange that the torch felt a bit different in her palms and too rocky than when she held it earlier but she understands it must be ’cause her hands are frigid.

And the fact that it felt like it’s inside a soft fabric…well, he must’ve shoved his hand into his trousers pocket with it.

Who kìlled her?” The detective asked Dan again to clarify what he just said.

“Idris kìlled him. I saw him when he was putting poison into the drink. I was half asleep so, I didn’t know that he was adding poìson to the drink” he explained this time with more pitiful tone.

“Go and drag that man here” the detective was clearly referring to Idris. He stretched his finger to the door and directed the standing constables like a patience dog.

They brought him back some seconds after.

He was sat down forcefully on the chair.

The Detective looked at him with a mean eye and without asking anything, he ordered for pressing iron. He obviously requested for it in order to tórture Idris with it.

Gage knew that the girl inside the hut will be so much afraid, her being alone and aware of her environment is reason enough.

He saw a bear walking around the hut tiredly, it seems like a pregnant female bear, he threw a stone at it and it hopped away.

A big bag hung on his back, it contained things he thinks he or Sky would need, for as far as he is concerned, their leaving the forest is by miracle.

One, Tyrant will stop at nothing to find them, two, a boat hardly comes around this side of the sea.

And the way out of this forest is either through Badlands to an old airport to board a plane flying to your direction or through the sea.

However, he won’t tell her, less she dies before he figures a way out, he will keep making up stories to keep her calm.

His worry is that Tyrant might find them though it’s hidden, and he won’t spare them if he does.

He diverted his attention to the girl inside the hut again when he heard quite sobs.

He flashed the torch light he borrowed from a friend and took a step forward.

He didn’t see the stick in time and it landed on his forehead.

“Bleep!” He cursed staggering backwards as his free hand flew to where he got hit.

He looked at his hand and saw the blood…

“Oh God! What have I done?!!” Sky cried out when she realized who she just hit as she ran to help him aready.

“Get your freaky hands off me! I think I actually deserve this!!” He glared at her.

Sky shivered in fear, she withdrew her hands from him and moved backwards slowly.

She was shocked, maybe she got a wrong impression of him though she knew he must be one of them but she thought he was different.

“Am sorry, I…” She started but he raised a hand to shun her, her lips became sealed.

“Yes, I know what you want to say, so you can’t differentiate between an animal and a human being, my head just got broken!”

He touched his head and brought it to his face to see the blood that gushed out from the wound again and that got him angrier.

Tyrant walked about the clubhouse angrily and puffed smoke addictively.

“Hey, you gotta calm down, and let’s talk about this, okay?” Hoodie invited him to sit down.

“No! He thinks he’s doing us well that way, it was all his fault after all!” Bull flamed up.

“Blame me all you want, but I won’t take an insult and I hope you remember that I am still the boss here!” Tyrant returned.

“Boss my ass! You know what? The fact that we bow to you as a superior doesn’t make us any less than you, we all have equal rights in this territory, keep it in mind too!” Bull rebuffed.

“Let’s say your rants are legit, am I not the one that brought that gal here in the first place?”

“So what? We bring ours and we all share whatever we get from them equally without troubles, now, what about yours?” Bull shrugged.

“You know what? I’m done talking with you guys! I will soon get hold of my gun and blow your brains out!! Damn you!” Tyrant stormed out of the clubhouse.

“You two didn’t have to argue about this, I thought we are here to find a solution to the problem we have already and not to add petrol” Bird stated flatly.

“I just hate his guts, he thinks he’s the boss because he’s got a gun, I will show him my bomb soon” Bull retorted.

“Whatever you guys decide, you let us know, I want to go taste some p*ssy” Hoodie grinned revealing his teeth as he took Bad with him.

“Gage was never with us, I mean, we don’t know much about him, he simply tricked us it seems,” Bird said lighting a cigarette.

“Badlands is surrounded by water and the only way out is traveling by sea or air, we know that happens once in two months, they are stuck somewhere and we gonna find them”

Hoodie explained curtly and helped himself to Bird’s cigarette, “we’ve got to match out guys, he’s got a gun” he requested.

“Yeah, we come back here for them when we get us armed for security reasons” Bad concord and they all accepted to go back.

“For sure, I’m gonna Bleep that gal and lick her ass to Gage’s face, that’s a promise!” Tyrant swore.

“I gotcha, T” Hoodie said right behind him as they went out of the woods.

A detective came to the house to investigate the dêath of Janet.

Her rich parents with the help of police force ensured that no one left the house. They tamed them there for interrogation.

The detective entered the house and the three prime suspects they interrogated was Janet personal maid, Idris and Dan.

They suspected the maid because the CCTV footage that covered the entrance of Janet’s room carried her.

They would have just checked the CCTV in her room but because of privacy, Janet requested the CCTV to be brought down few months ago.

They suspected Idris, too because, right after the maid left the room, he entered after.

That was close, they ran past them and Sky heaved a sigh of relief.

“Oh, God, what brought me here?” Tears streamed down her cheeks.

“I was going to ask you that question! What stupid person travels all the way from New York to see a stranger here?!” Gage said angrily.

“You must think me an idiot, I kinda deserve it but I would appreciate it if you don’t say it to my face” Sky hates being degraded.

“Wow, you are more worried about your dignity than the fact that you are fucking gonna die if I want you to”

Sky perceived the mockery his words carried and chose to ignore it before she puts herself in more danger.

The fact that he’s one of them made her trust him less.

“Where are we going from here?” She inquired.

“It’s a good thing you have common sense, follow me” He laughed at her and walked deep into the forest.

“We should be finding a way out and not going deeper into the woods!” Sky complained wondering what he’s up to.

“If you’re ready to die, don’t follow me. You think Tyrant will give up if he doesn’t find us? It’s not about finding us but what he will do to us if he does!”

“My leg still hurts and I can’t go deeper than this, who knows, wild animals might be lurking around”

She halted at once and expected him to stop too but he kept walking farther away as if he didn’t hear her talk.

“I can imagine how your face will look like when a lion pounces on you” he laughed heartily.

Sky ran after him immediately in fear of the unknown, she might not trust him but she knows that he knows this place better than her and her safety lies in his palms.

“She’s even afraid, who could imagine a bragging brat like you would consider my farce a fact”

“Who’s afraid? I am just following you because I don’t know my way around this goddamn dirty place!” Her pride topped up.

Dad slapped anty Susan so hard that I covered my eyes with my both hands, he ordered her to leave her sight and she did so

My mood changed but he didn’t notice it when he asked me about life with the workers

I thought of telling him the truth but for a while I kicked it off my mind,it seems so early to do that and it might spoil his mood tonight

Nothing else than to tell him that am fine within some minutes,anty sera brought in our dinner and we ate happily

“Stop!” Gage’s voice broke in as he pointed the gun at Tyrant, others backed away in surprise.

Gage held the trigger and dared someone to make a move.

Tyrant should have known better than to entrust a gun on him.

“Oh shit! You are making a mistake, we could just Bleep this bitch and get some bloody money from her!!”

“No! Let her go, does she really deserve this? She trusted you, and this is unfair because you would hate it if someone does that with your sister, can’t you see?”

“Who freaky cares what she deserves! Every bitch wants this and you could consider it a favor, okay, put the gun down, I won’t hurt her, I will just Bleep…”

Gage ordered with the gun moving from one outraged face to another.

They obeyed because they had no choice, no one else has a gun except Tyrant.

Susan woke up the next morning to find the text Lisa sent, she read it out with her hand covering her mouth

“I know she won’t fold her hands, what am I going to do now? I won’t let Sera go, I must deal with her, she dare disobeyed me “, Susan murmured to herself

She panicked in fear because she knows Lisa can go to any extent just to work on her plans

Loosing Sera is what she will never sit and watch happen but Lisa is out on this and can do anything stupid to her

Susan shivered still sitting on the bed in thought not until her phone rang and she picked up the receive

“Susy, I just called to let you know the money you promised to bring today “, Susan’s brother spoke out through the phone

She shook her head in shock when her brother spoke up, she had already forgotten about the money

“Alright dear, I’ll be there soon “, she replied him grimacing her face

When she hung up the phone, she went straight to the bathroom, brushed her teeth and washed her face

She went downstairs when she was done and met Lisa in the sitting room

THE WOOD (II End)
That night, the girls slept in the same room and huddled together, trying to pretend they weren’t frightened by the story and expecting to hear something tapping at the window at any moment.
The next morning, Samantha’s father made them all a big breakfast and they went down to the lake for a swim. Around noon, they decided to make the trip up to the old haunted house.
When they got there, the girls sensed an eerie presence in the old, dilapidated place. It was enough to make their skin crawl. They explored the ruins of the old house, peeking into corners and sifting through the rubble.
After a while, Samantha spotted something half-buried in the dirt. It was some sort of book. She dug it out and dusted it off. The girls gathered around as she opened it and began to flip through the yellowed pages.
“It’s like a diary or something,” said Samantha.
“Maybe it’s his diary…” Jenny whispered.
“Whose diary?” asked Amber.
“The guy…” said Jenny. “The guy that killed his family.”
Samantha read the diary aloud as the others listened.
“There’s a dedication inscribed inside the cover,” she said. “It reads: To my family who I love and cherish and who will always be with me.”
“September 5th, 1987. It has been hard alone. All they had to do was talk to me. They could not talk to me. I hear their voices late at night sometimes. I hear their screams. It is cold and dark. I needed love. They did not love me. The medicines are gone. I am free, free from all of them. If they could not love me, they had to go. Dark sleep for everyone. I hear their voices still. Always screaming.”
“December 4th, 1987. They have stopped looking for me. It is OK for me now. I live in the forest. I chase down the animals and put them in dark sleep. Just like Mom and Dad and Sis. I visit my old house at night. I listen to the voices. At least they talk to me now.”
“October 3rd, 1995. I left the forest years ago and moved to a small town nearby. Nobody recognises me. No one knows who I am. I hear people telling my story sometimes. It makes me laugh inside. They all fear me. I still come to the forest sometimes. I spend the nights in my old house. Mom and Dad still talk to me. They say they are very proud of me.”
“November 2nd, 1998. Life has been good. I found a job. I bought a house. I met a girl. She is very quiet and pretty. Sometimes I bring her to the forest. She likes it. I let Mom and Dad see her. They like her.”

Samantha had two best friends named Jenny and Amber. Her father was taking her on a weekend vacation and she invited them to come along. Her family owned a cabin in the woods and on Friday evening, her father drove the girls up there.

It’s out in the middle of nowhere, tucked away off a narrow little side-road. A long time ago, a man lived there. His family were really wealthy and they owned hundreds of acres of land around here.
This man met a simple country girl from a simple country town and they fell in love. His family wasn’t too happy about it. They didn’t think the girl was good enough for him, but he ignored them. He was an independent type of guy and he went off and built a little house on a chunk of their land, out in the middle of nowhere.
He married this girl and everything was wonderful. They had a daughter and eventually they had a son. This is where the story starts to go bad. Their son was sick. Not physically but mentally. He was sick in the head. He wasn’t mentally disabled or anything. He was just a little off.
By the time he was nine years old, he became too much for his parents to handle, throwing temper tantrums, erratic sleeping patterns, disappearing into the woods and hiding, that kind of thing.
Not knowing what to do about his son, the man turned to his family for help.
