kettykin:Lol. You are so correct. Clever dude. |
@OP. Try and lie imaginatively na. This is not 1980 with no Internet or AI.
|
naptu2:Unfortunately, his type are not interested in reading to comprehend. They are here to satisfy their perpetual lust for enemies-of-progress mischief-making against those they hate and wish ill upon. @Topic. Lagos is always moving forward and recording consolidated progress year on year. This is a good and expected development because Lagos is now a stakeholder in EKEDC meaning there must be synergy of support, geared towards aiding efficiency, between both. Kudos to Eko. 👏🏽👏🏽 |
MrColdsweat:Yeah you are so right about Igbos and Obi. Brilliant conclusion. |
Savenigeria2023:Do you know who Femi Falana is to include him in the bolded in your post? What status quo is Falana seeking "to maintain"? Some don't agree with what you want and the next is to insult them ignorantly? |
AqualinaXYZ:The level of ignorance some of you are shamelessly proud to display in public is shocking. Really ironic and self-mocking you call Tinubu "mumu" when it is clear you thoroughly deserve the tag. Tinubu was President of ECOWAS then. ECOWAS has the power to move against unconstitutional government of a member State that has seized power through a military coup from a democratically elected that has the official leadership mandate of the people. It is therefore Tinubu's prerogative, as President of ECOWAS, to ratify actions to remove governments that came to power unconstitutionally if ECOWAS member stated that are in agreement. The best thing most of you can do for yourselves is invest in self-education that can drastically improve your ability to work efficiently and productively in all aspects of yor lives.

Mamdani was quick to mock Trump as well by reminding him his worst nightmare has happen i.e a man who migrated to the USA from Uganda, aged 7, has became the first Muslim Mayor of New York ever. Nothing Trump hates more than immigrants and Muslims. The Pain must be unbearable for him right now.
|
Christistruth00:Lol. Mamdani dedicated his victory to showing the world Trump is an empty megalomaniac. Trump's worst nightmare in the world happened under his watch. I.e first Muslim Mayor of New York delivered at the expense of his Republican Party. Mamdani has done his bit to show Trump is an empty bully people should now confidently stand up to and defeat.
|
DomPerignon:It is the bolded bro. Trump was reacting to Zohran Mamdani mocking him after Mamdani became the first Muslim Mayor of New York because the world already knew how anti-Muslim Trump is with his vile and personalised attack against Sadiq Khan who was also first Muslim Mayor of London. Trump's undemocratic and sore loser way of saying "I told you so. The Muslim terrorists are taking over". Salute to Mamdani who had the bravery, single-mindedess and focus to use his victory to show the world, worshippers of Trump from a certain region of Nigeria for example, that Bullies and dictators can be stood up to and defeated. In fact, the Republicans knew this victory was coming for Mamdani and were also aware others devastating loses, which have now happened, was on the card that would expose their Party is losing support under the terrible and divisive leadership of Trump and may continue to lose more elections in future because of protest votes against Trump. I'll try to dig up an article I read a few days ago where analyst specifically suggested that Trump's sabre-rattling against Nigeria, he knew he'd never get approval for, was designed to detract from these expected loses, that have now happened, they understood would show Trump is unpopular. As if his abysmal 36% approval rating , showing 64% of Americans do not have confidence in his leadership, does not revel this already. My only regret is that Nigerians were celebrating this character Trump using us as diversionary pawns to detract from his dwindling political fortunes while rapidly becoming an object of ridicule and derision plus a big embarrassment for the USA and Americans. On the plus side, I am proud of Ugandans with how they moved to quickly mock Trump and celebrate Mamdani, who was born in Uganda, they were acutely aware Trump would have given anything to prevent becoming the first Muslim Mayor of New York. This is sweeeeeet. Proof God indeed has a sense of humour and the omnipotence to ridicule those who feel they are God of all men because of political office.

Kdon2:The bolded should be the opinion of all reasonable, responsible and critical-thinking adults who understand the saying "act in haste repent at leisure". Most Nigerians are sane and decent. They just want the terror, insecurity and wanton killings to end yet they should be sensible enough to know there is a right way to do things so that a serious problem does not become one that is impossible to resolve. |
9jatriot:The problem is that even the Northern Governors who are decent and respect the sanctity of human life know that the gates of hell the North has opened on itself is now impossible to close. Northern Governors keep engaging in this redundant peace talk, negotiation and rehabilitation malarkey because even they know it is the only option available to them because they are at the mercy of their young killers the god of evil has completely taken charge of. Any Northern Governor that resolve to wipe out terrorism and banditry has to be ready to kill a lot of youths while he took and his family may be wiped out in the process. This is how entrenched this evil is in the heart of young Northerners today. Same way the drill scene in Chicago has bred a ruthless generations of youths who are musicians, gang members, murderers, criminals and evil demons rolled into one. Many are never going back to a nine to five if they ever had one to begin with. It started with a cruel and very wicked elite and Northern leadership class neglecting, depriving, under-developing and disenfranchising ordinary Northerners. By the time the Northern leaders at all levels (political, religious, cultural , military etal) realised that they could use terrorism and banditry to achieve their religious, political and wealth acquisition agendas they happily found literally millions of recruits amongst Northern youths largely illiterate, restive, unemployed, hungry, deprived, disenfranchised etc. Their initial recruits quickly grew into mini-god to become terror, banditry, kidnapping, illegal mining and death-dealing criminal moguls who had grown bigger than their sponsors and this uncontrollable. Now, even if their are genuine Governors wishing to fight the problem, the reality is that the problem has grown into a huge and hydra-headed monster with a life of its own very attractive to Northern youth who cannot go back to sitting around jobless and hungry after terrorism and banditry has given them free wealth, food, pu**ies they just take as they please etc, etc. Sickening. It is time the South developed pragmatic sense to know that issues is now about how to save ourselves through regional autonomy that allows us all full control over our own security because, in my opinion, the North is gone and they will all take us down with them if we don't act. |
SmartPolician:Lol. Okay na. If I quote you then don't respond. |
Goodlady:Personally I agree more must be done. I am just not sure insecurity can "end'. Fighting insecurity, majorly driven by Fulanis, is complex because of so much much overt and covert backing these killers get from very powerful Northerners who are political, business, cultural and religious leaders. Those Northern leaders actually play a big role recruiting young, illiterate and restive Northerners into terrorist and bandit groups. They must be stoped but the reality is much harder because the sort of very big men involved, and their large numbers, means a Southern President cannot take all those folks down without serious repercussion for Nigeria. Still, Tinubu now has better leverage to act, because of being called out by Trump, and seek formal engagement with USA and the EU to prosecute a more robust battle against insecurity. I think that will happen 100% and Tinubu should focus on lobbying the US, EU, Saudi Arabia etal to impose sanctions, travel bans and serious restrictions on the business interest of these sponsors of terror as a good start to fighting terrorism and banditry. The insecurity the North has brought to Nigeria is so complex, I feel it's cause and sponsored proliferation is beyond the grasp of most ordinary Nigerian who simply do not appreciate how deeply entrenched it is and the stupendous number of "pillar" of Nigerian society involved in it. If I am to speak candidly, even as I know things can improve with more effort, I will still conclude the North is hopelessly fcked. Meaning the rest of us should just focus on agitating uncompromisingly for regional autonomy so that we can protect ourselves. I see that as the options for a problem that now involves the complicity of many, many millions of Northerners and is becoming a culture for them. Insecurity would not be so bad in the North if it is something many, from leaders to followers, are vehemently against. Terrorism and banditry, for example, can never be a mainstay in the SW because they are not what the leaders and followers of the region, both religiously tolerant and with fair degree of respect for the sanction of human life, will ever subscribe to. If Southerners reflects on issues they will see the redundancy in insulting Tinubu alone over this complex issue Northerners brought upon themselves and the only ones capable of ending. Outsiders cannot liberate Northerners happy to be enslaved by terror and banditry under their fellow Northerners. Even the whole culture of toxic and radicalising clerics in every corner of the North, that Northern Governors should clamp down on mercilessly, is a problem. One told his congregation that Remi Tinubu is leader of "infidel Christians' and should be killed. We all dismissed it as empty rants without realising thousands of his ilk passing the same message to millions of young, illiterate opportunity-bereft and hungry Northerners is a huge a problem. Terrorism and banditry in the North are very, very complex, deeply entrenched, well-sponsored and well-supported problems. May God save Nigeria. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEczxfZ1s7Q?si=GILl_uexfbMluEg5 |
SmartPolician:I actually used to find your posts logical, balanced and indicative of the thinking of a rational mind. These days your posts are just as uncouth and senseless as those of the worst trolls and touts here. Now I see some posters are right, when leaving here permanently, iaith their claim that Nairaland Agbero-nize most who stay here too long. |
mascot87:Bro, most of those commenting on this issue don't have responsible adult disposition and thinking. All their thinking and thought is driven by emotions, sentiments and all manners of prejudice against others. I have said the same in your bolded and even added that any unsanctjoned attack in Nigeria could destabilise the African Sub-Saharan region also. Analyst argue that if Iraq, qith population of around 46 million, was s devastated after US military attacks, then what will be the fate of Nigeria with 230 million people? It is a clear case of adults not thinking clearly per the saying "be careful what you wish for". I welcome the assistance of the US and other but it should be a well-coordinate and joint effort putting a nigeria in charge of affairs since we know and understand our nation best. Watch the video below to note the USA correspondent confirms that Nigerians in the USA have same view i.e they welcome a joint effort that will be well-managed and coordinated. Never a military invasion of Nigeria thag no sane, responsible and well-informed Nigerian should demand. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkqSPNxggIg?si=DLOuXTUo9X3vG8GQ |
cr7lomo:You are the one deluding himself. Trump’s approval rating is disastrously down to 36%. Meaning 64% of Americans, approximately, disapprove of his divisive leadership. Even many in his Party disapprove of him and many believe his rhetoric against Nigeria is a desperate attempt to detract from his horrendous performance now threatening his Party's elections fortunes. Shun bias and broaden your knowledge. It won't kill you to do so. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkqSPNxggIg?si=DLOuXTUo9X3vG8GQ |
Kaycee9242:Nigeria must request their help to begin with. Not all global leaders have lost the plot, as Trump has, to begin making lunatic declaration they understand international law forbids and will surely rise against. Nigeria must have attacked the USA or be 100% confirmed as threatening America's interest for Trump to get support and approval for his sad and misguided announcements which is no different to him saying America will attack sovereign African nations where gays and lesbians are being persecuted. |
AntiChristian:Precisely. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkqSPNxggIg?si=DLOuXTUo9X3vG8GQ |
Danjunior:Lol. The problem with some of you is that a prejudiced and emotional nature means you will never be dispassionately objective enough to seek knowledge that will make you better informed and truly aware of the full picture. Do you know, showing this is not about democrats, that Trumps approval rating is currently 36% meaning approximately 64% of Americans disapprove of his leadership? Yet your sort are ignorantly hero-worshippong a President a lot of Americans now despise because he has essentially grounded governance in the US with his divisive, bigoted, intolerant, dictatorial and pugnacious approach to leadership. It is even suggested by many that Trump and his band of Conservative right wing menaces are merely using Nigeria as distraction over the President's seriously dwindling political fortunes leading to palpable fear this will begin to result in losses that will reduce the power and influence of the Republican Party. Read and research more and stop rabble rousing online ignorantly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkqSPNxggIg?si=DLOuXTUo9X3vG8GQ |
Skodiswayze:Do you know what prompted the USA to settle.on the "hearts and mind" strategy as a counterbalance to military force? The "hearts and mind" approach came in because USA realised that their gungo-ho and overzealous military aggression was often revilled and resisted in nations America entered, even if debatably in the right ,leading to so much local opposition to their success and presence. Guerilla resistance and war lord hell then begins. Have you ever sat down, like a responsible adult, to think of what Trump and the USA are suggesting ? I.e a "swift and sweet" attack to kill terrorists and bandits in Nigeria not authorised by Nigeria? Are your beloved USA going to stick around to deal with the serious affiliated aftermath problems that always comes with US military intervention outside America as we saw with Iraq etal? Are you going to be one to force the USA to stick around to protect Nigerians when terrorist and bandits the USA initially killed double in size with recruitment from the sahel nations above Nigeria after USA has turned us into the destination ground every Muslim want to go and join the Jihad war in against infidels? See what is shown below to understand you need to grow up whereas responsible and proper adults shun emotions to think several steps ahead for the greater good. The war against terror in Nigeria is urgent and very serious meaning we should not shun foreign assistance of any kind. Yet it must be assistance we ask for that must come in the form of help needed at all stages required to win the war permanently.

Kalvan:The way some of you talk ignorant garbage with so much confidence is scary because it means you are either those viewed by psychologists as dangerous to themselves or sociopaths deliberately trying to fool others to get their way. Lawless Trump, ignorant of the position of the law cannot initiate a military attack on other nations unless "the U.S. or its forces are under attack or facing an imminent threat". You should explain to the forum how that applies in this case with the situation of Nigeria where it is crystal clear Nigeria is not a direct or indirect threat to the US Trump. Whereas the reality is that it is Trump and his band of right wing Christendom-seeking gang who do not understand that having a strong opinion about an issue does not mean the US Congress will allow them attack a sovereign nation based on whims and caprices. For sure you must be one of those 'projector' people whose emotional and sentimental make up leads them to ignore facts and reality in desperation to project their fantasies and desired outcomes as 💯 % achievable.
|
Skodiswayze:Your childish evil wishes for me means nothing. You're not mature, and even the attention-seeking red font indicates this, so I understand. Read my posts to see I do not reject USA military assistance. My insistence is that it must come via a coalition effort with Nigeria. I believe Tinubu must now take advantage of the mood in the room to demand such assistance. What I am against is unsanctioned military incursion into Nigeria that will leave our nation worse off. https://www.nairaland.com/8552659/christian-killings-sowore-reacts-trumps/3#137327978 WizardOfNG: |
Predictable. Some of us have repeatedly told the self-hating Nigerians, particularly from one region, that the clap back will surely come from Trump's fellow US politicians over his reckless, highly irresponsible and lawless talk I even cited several instances US judges have stood firm against Trump's lunacy yet the self-haters kept demanding US invasion of Nigeria as if we are an annexed colony of the US that Trump is Emperor over rather than an independent and sovereign nation. US Congress will never indulge this lunacy of Trump because nothing like "weapons of mass destruction" excuse to use against us and Nigeria is not an "axis of evil" nation, directly threatening USA, Congress may be worried about enough to back military incursion into. We will let kids and projector people keep dreaming and projecting. They don't understand that reality, not fantasy, is what matters most in life |
Switruth:Face your front bro. |
DomPerignon:He is a glorified conman. Pretty much like Nigerian prosperity preachers he must have learnt the tricks of the trade from, in the past, regarding how to rob legitimately in the name of the Christian religion. One of the easiest and most rewarding cons in humanity. Watch him (first video) bamboozling simpleton Nigerians, like the interviewer, below. Even basic investigation, very distant to the best deep search engines can produce, shows this dude is essentially a shady dude and mercenary, with a criminal past, the US has commandeered as an 'asset' to do their dirty propaganda war for them. Chunks of his past is essentially untraceable showing a deliberate and perhaps state-assisted effort to rehabiliate a criminal for use in spying, international subterfuge etc. They need the sort of Arnold to go into nations with "naive coons and wogs" to turn the 'locals' (a favourite slur tag of Americans) against themselves so the USA's agenda is easier to achieve. Crude and puke-inducing divide and conquer crap but it works. Even Obi used the same BS when he hired that discredited and bankrupt 'oyinbo' Jeffrey Gutterman (second video) to bamboozle Nigerians he has world and 'white man' backed integrity. The idiocy and self-destructive gullibility of some of our people is depressing but will always have "useful idiots" value for deceptive folks always looking for emotional, sentimental, naive and 'simple' folks they can use actualising their nefarious agendas. Perfect example being the SE lot who fell in love with the crooked Jeffrey Gutterman, Obi's bought con artist, and even began donating generously to his crowdfunding thievery after his US bankruptcy. Today and now, they are the biggest fans of this devilish criminal Arnold. It is what it is bro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ih5o4vbpQTE?si=RHFeaK0F6GJKyXop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGciri0TxF0?si=kGa1V4iN8n7pxFck |
LagosOrigin:Lol. I heard they were wearing cutting edge war cloaks of invisibility , like in Harry Potter, that makes them and their weapons totally invisible. We are so fcked. |
obi4eze:Lol. It's really funny how you guys come here exposing your ignorance and shocking lack of knowledge. Yet you are most braggart at claiming superiority over others at at everything including intellectual brilliance. Every Army can get customised Ghillies suit even to deal with IPOB in Upper Iweka and Awka. The designers simply need several images of the areas of use to create one that blends best. Continue 'blowing' yourselves ignorantly. That's why you lot are always on the losing side. |
LagosOrigin:Stop exposing your fanboy ignorance to the world. They are wearing what's called a Ghillie Suit that can be bought on eBay. Second image shows a Nigerian soldier in a Ghillie Suit to blend in with grassy terrain. Different exist as they can be customised to match areas of use. Nothing new about them as they are simply created to allow wearer blend in with the background for stealth. Even hunters use them so stop 'blowing' your new heroes, i.e American military, because reckless loudmouth Trump has spoken without thinking.
|
Flangelo12:Just look at what is shown below and tell me it is not troubling signs Trump has 'issues'. Which leaders of sane nations of the world will do what Trump is doing below? Look at Starmer even extending his hand, when he defended Sadiq Khan as a friend, as a 'shut up' and 'enough signal an adult uses to tell a petulant child to zip it and behav in public. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLjr6Fl-Li4?si=r4pgrwyj14Ic_XMS |
