Daddyyin:God bless you. Every choice they and their kinsmen make is always correct. 99% of Igbos voting Obi is meritorious and detribalised voting. Whereas a Yoruba voting for Tinubu is playing tribal politics and a "tribalist".. |
garykoeman:Indeed. Nollywood acting pays pittance and can never make Okonkwo rich lol. Meanwhile Momodu is one of the greatest political jobber to ever live in the history of Nigeria. |
Nteogwuija:You need constitution to tell you that? This is why I specifically mentioned civic duty. It seems many Nigerians, as you confirm here, don't understand their civic responsibility. This is why you wrongly believe it is only the President who should be in your line of fire always.
|
Felabrity:The poster you quoted informed you the two are not father and son yet you still wrote the bolded. Na wa for Nigerians.
|
ExudeLoveToAll:Which of the Lagos Governors is not an indigene? Do you even know who a Lagos indigene is or you believe it is those with names of returned slaves like Doherty, Rhodes-Vivour, Riberio etal? |
ZombieDredd:Subsidy money not seen how? Aren't States and local Government getting at least 3 times what they were recieving before subsidy removal? Go and lobby your Governor and LGA chairman if you want to "see" subsidy money and stop obsessing about Mr.President alone. You guys deliberately refuse to do your civic duty, as done elsewhere globally, so you can indulge your unprogressive and bigoted desire for demarketing a President you dislike because of his ethnic and religious background. It is nothing other than that because you would be more active lobbying those, leadership-wise , directly more important to you than the President, your Governors and local Government Chairmen, where you and all Nigerians live. I.e in a local government of a State in Nigeria.
|
helinues:Indeed. Typical Obidient behaviour when they know their messiah is done. They begin going around preaching sanctimoniously to claim "Nigerian factor" denied their messiah. Whereas they are supporting the worst market and ultimate charlatan in Nigerian politics who has nothing to offer leadership-wise. Peter Obi. |
Kanwulia:If you really mean the bolded, why are you seeking self-righteous attention here? Resolute and principled people make decisions and do it. They don't announce it to the world especially if their decision is to abstain from a process. Ultimately, no one cares what you, one individual, will do or not do in relation to the 2027 Nigerian Presidential election. |
garykoeman:Yes OO. Na so for Naija politics. 'Money miss road' Atiku jam cashout opportunist i.e Okonkwo, Momodu etal. There is always only one winner and it won't be Atiku on this occasion. Lol. |
Parachoko:Shocking to be honest. The guy does not sound like someone mentally healthy. |
helinues:No he is not. Imagine "Yoruba Muslim", just like these uncouth Nairalanders shout all the time, from the mouth of a so-called prominent Nigerian leader. This Timi Frank has maturity and sense lower than that of the dregs of Nairaland. His utterance has to be the most stupidly divisive and incendiary I have seen in recent times. Why does he not hand Northerners guns to go and begin fighting "Yoruba Moslems"? Idiot. |
helinues:Lol. You've gotten it precisely with the bolded especially "battered with hatred". Nothing to add. |
BalogunIdowu:It helps by putting us firmly and irreversibly on the path to becoming a developed nation that your children and generations unborn will positively remember leaders of today for as facilitators of the great life and nation they have. Same as Singaporeans remember Lee Kuan Yew well for reforms that made Singapore one of the greatest nations on earth to live and work in today, over a 30 years period, even as adults under his leadership back then had to endure and make sacrifices per the hardship reforms initially created. |
erniok:I really pity Nigeria as a nation. If Nigeria was human she would weep everyday for hosting so many children who hate her, call her ungracious names and wish her to fail to the extent every good that happens to her they wish to deny and discredit publicly. Those of us who genuinely love Nigeria and match that with an obsessive interest in all the good happening to her are not surprised by this award which is only the beginning. The woman below and others like her (i.e the finest technocrats in the World) have been gushing effusively about how impressed they are with the reforms of Tinubu and where such can take Nigeria if allowed to achieve desired result Haters can hate but they always lose in the end. Law of life because God/Karma and even Earth spirit does not like haters. God bless Nigeria plus all patriotic and progressive Nigerians. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph5XCf8jgOE?si=V7Xd_GM4i8ZW_GjI |
Sheuns:Simply cut and past the title of thread , shown below,in Google. Takes seconds to see many hits revealing knowledge you are asking fellow Nairalanders to provide you with. CBN Named “Central Bank Of The Year 2026” Below is what you get. @Haters of Nigeria and Tinubu, please kindly remember this award means the Central bank of Nigeria, under the leadership of Cardoso, is the best in the whole wide world. Keep hating. 😎 https://www.thisdaylive.com/2026/03/29/cbn-gains-global-recognition-with-emergence-as-central-bank-of-the-year/#:~:text=The%20Central%20Bank%20of%20Nigeria,major%20economic%20management%20and%20turnaround.

lawani:Good post making a lot of sense. To me, better some admit their real problems with State policing rather than giving patronising excuses that makes no sense. |
nairalanda1:Yes I know. It is also my duty, as a consciencous Nigerian, to ensure you don't misinform others over important matters. If you don't endorse State policing, give valid reasons for your position and refrain from using propaganda and misinformation. |
nairalanda1:You always come out with ludicrous figures and claims to support your viewpoints I believe you adopt dogmatically rather than objectively. If the 2026 budget for the NPF is #1.31 trillion Naira, where do you get your ludicrous #20 trillion Naira "annually" you claim Nigerian States need to fund State-controlled police forces? You make sense sometime but are difficult to take seriously because your arguments sometimes appears driven by your emotions and sentiments rather than cold facts and verified statistics as the case will always be for those dispassionately objective.

Sonofgod1990:Not true. All members of a nations armed forces must work together, in a joint task force, to deal with internal terrorism. External threats is what the Army, Navy and Air force of nations have exclusive authority to fight. Even then they can deploy specialists from the police and other complementary forces.
|
Thundafireseun:Yes, because developments like this, if true, show why the NPF (Nigerian Police Force) is moribund and ineffective. NPF was okay probably till the end of the Nineties but Nigeria has changed vastly since then. Meaning State policing is the solution and change required for crime in Nigeria that has changed significantly to become a far bigger existential threat than before because of terrorism, nationally organised kidnapping and banditry influenced by religious extremism. |
MaziObinnaokija:Lol. Jimi Agbaje 2.0 😅😂 |
Report from an X user appears to confirm this. Apparently, a group of Nigerians stabbed a protestor.
|
amazingspiderma:Is it AI alone I have used? My use of AI is a guide. Afterwards, confirming I was on the right path assisted by AI, FFK himself officially debunked the claim as fake. You time-wasters, when it is simple to do so, have not conclusively moved to show a credible source from Germany or Nigeria confirming what you claim is "likely true". You're proving my talk of poor human resources if talk of "likely true" alone is how things work in your world. Even more ludicrous is your "raising dust" claim. "Buhari dead and replaced by Jubrin from Sudan" did not trend and "raise dust" globally for many months or even beyond a year? How true was the stupid claim ultimately? Ridiculous that you make the claim an allegation, easy to debunk or prove, is "likely true" yet doing research for a short period of time to prove your case is beyond you. Believe me, showing how we differ, If I was on the side hoping this claim is true, I would have shown conclusively it is to taunt FFK officially or left this thread entirely once I discover it is fake. |
Didi2d:I was shocked too because I was witnessing, in HD, brainwashed psychosis taking over the minds and reasoning of so many you'd want to believe are sane adults capable of rational and logical thinking. There really is no magic behind the success of many in life other than the fact they have minds that are always objective, critical-thinking and rational thus helping them to make winning decisions always.
|
SisterAnn:Grow up and learn to focus on topic under discussion and not other posters. Nothing concerns me with any screwdriver seller. I have done my bit to expose obvious fake news. You can continue to dance around the dying flame of discredited and deliberate misinformation. |
PulaPower:Indeed.. One of the solid and thorough professionals who served Nigeria well without noise or fanfare. I wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavours . |
BlakKluKluxKlan:Precisely. Especially a certain group ( be like see na ban to mention their name 😁) known to terrorise other with misinformation, fake news and outlandish lies like "Buhafi dead and replaced by Jubrin from Sudan". |
georgeakins:Lol. Who else? |
Like Fabrizio Romano would say, "here we go !!! ". Official rejection of the fake news arriving today at 2.44pm. Courtesy of Punch news. Did not take long at all. https://punchng.com/germany-did-not-reject-my-ambassadorial-nomination-says-fani-kayode/?amp Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has denied a media report claiming that he was rejected by the German government as an ambassador. He said the opposition was “pained” by his appointment and was making efforts to discredit him.
|
Memphis357:Lol 😆. I know bruv. Yet, let it be on record at least one Nairalander raised the possibility this is fake news when it is later conclusively revealed that the claim is indeed fake. |
