Sheuns:Lol. These things you people always say to be okay with poverty or the fact you were too busy hating on others to get to work and become rich like them. Tinubu won't take a grain of sand with him. Agreed. Will you? Meanwhile he has had a rich, privileged and fulfilled life on Earth. Will you be able to say the same when it is your time? Get your mind out of communist disdain for private ambition and wealth acquisition before you end up a total and needy pauper. "Vanity upon vanity" indeed. Shior. |
Omoboricash:This is why those people never get anywhere significant in politics. They think that propaganda, blackmail, "buhari is dead" type of lies, slander, fake news, outright fabrication and an obsession with publicly demarketing others win elections in Nigeria. Like you rightly advised, they should go and petition EFCC with all this 'conclusive' evidence. Pointless bringing it here as we are not a branch of EFCC or ICPC. Goodluck to them. |
noleflendum:Because he believes such indicates he is humble and amicable whereas the reality is that such makes him appear subservient and beggarly in the eyes of most Nigerians. I.e leaders and followers. |
zoedew:Don't mind them. As if politics, anywhere in the world, is a tea Party where you serve your opponents cake and beverages plus prop a pillow behind their head for comfort and relaxation. Nonsense !! |
Lithiumite:Agree with you. Just pointing out that he is the person the misguided and uninformed poster you responded to was alluding to. |
Codepain:I wonder OO. What, for example, does the SW need SE for? Whereas where would the SE be without SW markets, hosting the biggest spending power in Nigeria, they need to sustain their families back in ala Igbo? Some just talk without engaging their brain. |
Lithiumite:Hadi Sirika. |
SeeWahala:What is ironic about you Obidients is how you craft arguments you assume is taunting the opposition yet you cannot see such marks you out as ignorant. Tell us which Governor, now that they receive 3 to 4 time the allocations they were picking up under Buhari, will not work hard to ensure APC wins their State so that Tinubu continues in power. They know the risk of allowing an Atiku or Obi win, when the two will likely return Nigeria to the retrogressive days of subsidies everywhere that is a weapon fashioned against the long-term growth and development of Nigeria. Most intelligently progressive, exposed, knowledgeable and well-meaning folks, which excludes majority of you Obidients, know that Nigeria will never ever become a developed nation crafting numerous subsidies and fall-back options for most sectors. Electricity power, oil and gas, education sector and even the intrinsic strenght of our currency were in a huge mess when Tinubu took over because we used subsidy myopically, for decades, to set those sectors 100 years behind the rest of the world. Whereas most sectors started off promisingly and very well, in the days of regional autonomy, they are a in huge mess today, Tinubu is trying to reverse, because of subsidy madness designed to shut up the masses same way a dummy is stuffed in a baby's mouth to stop him/her crying. Not all of us are illiterate, unexposed or uninformed folks you can fool with simplistic "gari and rice don cost" childish argument as if Tinubu caused such. Well-meaning Nigerians who have the intellectual, knowledge and decency to want what is best for Nigeria fully understand that embracing unavoidable and crucially needed reforms, after decades of socio-economic and hard to reverse decay, is vital if Nigeria is to become a developed nation. Precisely the same way Singapore, a former colony of the UK like Nigeria, embraced reforms to become one of the most developed nations of the world over a 30 year period whereas they were in even worse state than Nigeria is in today when lee Kuan Yew and his successors began implementing reforms Singaporeans had the disciple and foresight to endure with to now be at the glorious level they have reached today. Meanwhile in Nigeria, with opposition leaders being treacherous and serpent-like, we have Snake oil salesmen Peter Obi and Dubai Atiku, along with their minions like yourself, wishing to sell lies of 'overnight economic miracles', any sensible person knows broke Nigeria cannot achieve, to gullible Nigerians. Won't work buddy. We will work to ensure Tinubu remains in power to bed-in reforms that will transform Nigeria, as occurred in Singapore, Atiku and Obi will not get the chance to truncate as agents of regressions they are. The whole world know where Nigeria is heading. We won't let another example of Shehu Shagari (in place of Awolowo) self-inflicted act of suicide recur a second time to finish us off for good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph5XCf8jgOE?si=w7WpUrPfLPhhWk_7 |
Chucks13:Great Post. I've always made the same point. I.e all leaders who have genuine goodwill for Nigeria, even if in opposition, should have no problem supporting the Government in power, when needed, to move Nigeria forward. Not so Atiku and Obi who attack and demarket everything the Government does yet deliberately remain silent or feign ignorance when the Tinubu record progressive returns on some of her reforms and initiatives. Opposition in Nigeria is virulently toxic and unprogressive because grabbing power is their priority and never the growth and development of Nigeria. Can Atiku that is resident in Dubai in his free time, completely disengaged from the affairs of Nigeria, claim to be the one who cares most about Nigeria and her progress? Someone should make it make sense. Or is it Obi, the near illiterate and dullardly attention-seeker, who goes to petty lows such as attacking Tinubu for not wearing appropriate funeral wear yet pretend never to see what the lady below (who is Obi's intellectual and technocratic superior by far) is saying? Opposition is a sick joke in Nigeria capitalising on the fact that a large number of the Nigerians masses is uneducated, unproductive and undiscerning human resources not able to think critically let alone see the big picture to note Obi and Atiku are charlatans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph5XCf8jgOE?si=w7WpUrPfLPhhWk_7 |
israelmao:Hosting APC, Labour, PDP, ADC mentality is redundant Sir. You are putting the Cart before the Horse doing that. It should be obvious to most Nigerian adults that Nigeria, factually, does not have political Parties with ideological integrity. We are far from that level some Nations of the world reached over a century ago. There is no single person at that convention that will not leave APC tomorrow if another platform is their best chance of achieving personal political ambitions and objectives. No greater proof of this than the number of Parties all your leaders (Atiku, Obi etal) have joined and left whereas if Nigerian politicians are principled and Political parties have ideological integrity then defection won't be our daily reality because such is naturally rare in nations where politicians are genuinely principled and devoted to serving the people using political Parties with ideological integrity. Better to look at an individual's history and leaning if you wish to choose a leader than focus on his/her Political Party which is just a mere platform for politicians same way we all use Bolt or Uber to get from here to there and can interchange between either at any time. This is our reality. Deal with it. When our democracy, still in the dark ages, has reached the laudable level of others, then you can begin shouting APC, ADC, PDP etal. |
Martinsvp1:They should be crying? They are at an event that is necessary as part of a process of Nigerian democracy. |
anonimi:Laughable whataboutism from an unprincipled and ideologically-fickle individual also a confirmed flip-flopper. This is not about Wike, Makinde or even Tinubu because you can support another Southerner if you claim Tinubu is your problem. It is about you as a southerner and why, knowing the pain and "never again" unfairness the North committed against the South via truncating Abiola's Presidential mandate, you would align behind Atiku in what is clear endorsement of dishonorable, disdainful and disrespectful arrogance against your region of origin and her leaders the rotation agreement sought to banish to the past. If you are a principled and upright person, with natural disposition for fairness and equity, you would simply throw your weight behind another Southerner if Tinubu is indeed your problem as you claim. To me, I just see you as another individual who has lost sight of what matters and is important to the unity of Nigeria because your mind is dominated by "anyone but Tinubu/Yoruba Presidency" sentiments. If not, then it should not be so difficult for you to see what matters as all genuinely principled people will be able to. If the North can renege on and truncate an agreement put in place to check their unfair and dictatorial lust for usurping power, it should not be Southerners partnering with them to get away with that. Doing so is akin to committing a crime against yourself. |
anonimi:You have no shame, as a southerner, supporting Fulani Atiku who, in 2023, sought to directly replace a Fulani President who had been in power for 8 years so that we face the scenario of having Fulanis in power for 16 years. Precisely what rotation is against. That ambition of Atiku that Bode George warned against, citing the chaos it can throw Nigeria into, was what killed PDP. Rotation agreement sought to stop power remaining in the hands of one people indefinitely to the disgruntlement and displeasure of others. You feign 'good governance advocate' but your backing for Atiku show you lack character and uprightness because a principled Nigerian would know what led to a North-South power rotation agreement and what the agreement wished to prevent from ever happening again. For thinking men, wherever they are from, Atiiku is a no no for his lack of honour and disinterest in sacrificing for the greater good of Nigeria as all genuine statesmen would. Any Southerner supporting him is aberrant also because the North must learn to wait her turn as the South did impeccably while Buhari was in power. There may be grave consequences if the North rejects the path of honour because the rest of us are not slaves or serfs of the North. Times have changed meaning Southerners won't accept Fulanis and Northerners perpetuating themselves in power today as they did with military might in the past The fact that the South, precisely SW and SS, is essentially all that is good and commendable about Nigeria today means the North should be going out of her way to never attempt to take us for granted and cause us to be completely disillusioned with Nigeria because once that stage is reached for the SW and the SS then Nigeria is done. Go and bone up on history to know why rotation agreement was settled upon in 1999 and is even more important today that Nigerians are more cynical, more combative, way more divided and much more disunited. This is a time Atiku, if he is a good leader with good intentions, would do the right thing putting Nigeria first. Yet we all know he won't. Same way Atiku's unappealing character is visible is how it is clear you, regardless of what you type here, are not a sincerely principled person who wants the best for Nigeria. If not you'd automatically understand and support the notion the North must wait her turn.

wellmax:Lol. If they can claim Simon Ekpa is working for the FG and Tinubu then what can they not allege? They will soon announce they have rejected Kenneth Okonkwo as an Igbo man because he is working against Obi and for Tinubu. |
Jayhome24:Indeed. I would have added that Obi is wasting his money also but I realize you got it spot on saying he is wasting his time since we all know the cheapskate never wishes to spend his money. Not even for ambition those far less wealthy than him can drop significant money for. Obi is just all shades of wrong. Weak, decietful, divisive, cowardly and cheap |
datola:Lol. A "glutton" ba? Imagine a prominent Southerner advocating we throw rotation agreement into the bin when it is the turn of the South for another four years . Such treachery and lack of fairness/principles will only be found in a glutton who lives for food, does not care where it comes from and will betray anyone or any principle to 'chop'. Dele Momodu, Kenneth Okonkwo, another Atiku azzlicker, and their ilk are repellent characters. They are the worst of the worst considering you will not find a single Northerner alive who would do what Momodu etal are doing i.e supporting the effort of a Southerner to usurp the legitimate turn of the North. Never. |
Can the world now see that Momodu is a desperate "anywhere belle face" charlatan and dishonest scoundrel? El rufai we can concede helped to make Buhari President. El Rufai was traversing the world, as part of a team that include Saraki, Amosun, Fashola etal, to sell Buhari to the West in particular that had misgivings about Buhari due to his coup past then. What on Earth did the others Momodu mentioned do to aid Buhari becoming President? Especially Malami who was still conducting charge and bail business at the time El Rufai etal were winning many over to Buhari's side? Who knew or had ever heard of Malami till Buhari later drafted him in as AGF and Minister of Justice? This announcement is an indicator of what Momodu is. Anyone ready to revise history horrendously with lies, confident in the belief he can confuse the reading/listening audience to accept his lies, is a conman and desperado. FFK got is spot on about Momodu's "gluttony" because gluttony will make a man say and do what Momodu is now saying and doing. By mentioning Atiku, Malami and Tambuwal etal it is obvious Momodu is proactively serenading them in hope of 'food' as reward. |
Omokri has said it all. Eloquently too, as usual. Atiku, Obi, El Rufai and co are not purist political leaders in the true sense related to being effective builders of men, processes, initututions (political Parties etal) and nations. Their limitations and failings is the direct reason APC is able to attract political leaders looking for political platforms and affiliation that allows them serve their people better. Take Obi for example. If he can only divides and polarises all Parties he joins, to then flee eventually, how can he complain when political leaders find the organised APC, under the politically omnipotent Tinubu, an attractive destination? Political leaders are no different to ordinary folk with how they too will follow someone who knows the way rather than remain with lost and confused chancers like Obi, Atiku, Malami, El Rufai etal. |
bobbiiee:Indeed. His problem is that he chose to become a Pastor whereas he really wants to be a politician. |
This charlatan should go and attend to his flock and stop interfering in Nigerian politics. The Church is usually and strictly separate from politics in sane nation for good reasons. This wannabe politician, posing as a Pastor, cannot pretend he does not see the conduct of his mates globally. He only behave in this manner, that debases religion, because he knows Nigerians will swallpw anything. |
Quarterpast:You may be right. The sad thing though is that the way Sowore views himself is very different to how the Nigerian electorate view him. Obvious the Nigerian electorate, that gave Sowore less than 40k vote in the 2019 and 2023 Presidential elections, does not see him as President material. He should stop wasting his own time to think properly. If he did that then he would note the Nigerian electorate does not rate a candidate that spends all his time putting all others down rather than explaining how he would do things to accelerate the growth and development of Nigeria. Merely shouting "ole" and "criminal" at all other leaders, every single day, does not mean you will be viewed as the only saint everyone must vote for. |
UrVillageChief:Precisely. You are 100% spot on about the aberrant character and mindset of Nigerians. Tiring bro. |
borednhorny:Lol. Because your father owns the International Court of Justice at the Hague ba? Good luck imagining scenarios in your head you then jubilate as reality since that's what you lot are about. |
zoghys:Well-said. Dude is scary and an extremist. Only God knows what his kind are capable of. |
UrVillageChief:Help me ask them OO Baba. I don tire for Nigerians. Did Malami commit all his offences on Mars or Jupiter and not Nigeria? Or is it that many Nigerians have now developed memory deficit abi na Stockholm syndrome? Can't believe any sane Nigerian will hold brief for Malami who was the worst AGF in the history of Nigeria by far. Southerners were literally begging this arrogant twerp to allow them fight Fulani terror in their own land while Malami kept playing games costing lives. Nigerians can defend even the devil. Even those from same hood as Kanu, that Malami helped entrap and rendition to Nigeria from Kenya, are his fans today and shouting Tinubu is Abacha , Idi Amin and Paul Biya combined. If Tinubu is Abacha, what was Malami when he was AGF and Minister of justice? Unlike others, I did not develop any memory issues to now be incapable of remembering what he was and what he did. What a warped people Nigerians are. Many deserve the suffering the likes of Malami unleash on them. |
WiszyFraud:Lies. "Working together" means what to you exactly? Malami, as a prominent and influential member of the Buhari Fulani supremacist cabal, ensuring Tinubu was totally frozen out of APC leadership under our former President? Malami, and many supremacist Fulani that Buhari surrounded himself with, like Mamman Daura and Abba Kyari etal, were never friends of Tinubu they believed too intelligent and influential. Meaning he must be cut to size. Don't come here revising recent history dishonestly and annoyingly. Malami never "worked together" with Tinubu. He worked passionately and prominently against Tinubu forgetting the adage "power is transient". |
CorperKola:Agreed but no one seems to talk about the input of ordinary Nigerians which is crucial also. Why is this so? |
Krankhead:I just don't understand them. If they must worship El Rufai then they should do it sensibly. Not with silly questions over everything prosecuting and investigative authority have the full and legal right to do. |
Sheuns:Go and ask those who gave you democracy, i.e UK and USA etal, that question since they also ban journalist presence in certain cases as is allowed by law. It is only when it comes to Nigeria you people publicly start coming out with ignorant talk and nonsensical questions you have not sought knowledge privately to clarify. Even as I have done that for you on this occasion, next time endeavour to ask AI, as all analytically intelligent people do today, before you rush here with your inane questions.
