Didijiji:Thank you. You clearly did not read and understand. Have a pleasant day. |
swaggerific:Take your own advice and seek to educate yourself better. Especially in regard to critical and pragmatic understanding of issues that allows men/women to create solutions working with realities on the ground instead of comparing their situation to that of others that is entirely different. Rule of law is consistently efficient and enforceable in nation with homogeneity of vision, socio-economic outlook and nation-building ideology. Nigerian is effectively several very different and ideological and irredeemably unaligned nations forced to coexist. How do you you reconcile the fact the North, knowing Nigeria is officially secular, still want ahead to p1ss on our constitution and adopt Sharia that is subversive to the rule of law of Nigeria every Nigerian must exist under without alternatives or options? Zamfara collects VAT and allocation from Southern oil revenue yet airlifts her gold to the middle East to sell for profit she keeps and does not remit to the FG to disburse. What rule of law can fight that? Tinubu can go and sit in Zamfara to order them around ba? Yes Tinubu is moving as Lee Kuan Yew did, per socio-economic consideration he has control over but you cannot cite rule of law that Lee Kuan Yew had supreme control over and Tinubu does not, because of how fundamentally different Nigerian is to Singapore to the extent such is difficult to apply consistently, as a failing of PBAT. Tinubu did not create the North to be a regressive region that is a law unto itself. That is a reality no educated and pragmatically intelligent Nigerian can disregard when talking about rule of law. It is in the interested of pragmatically intelligent Southerners to bear with reforms because the core North, unless she reforms, is gone and destined to coalesce into the terrorised Sahel nation she would have long joined but for the amalgamation of Nigeria by Lord Lugard. |
Didijiji:I am hoping progressive and well-meaning Nigerians can understand and bear with socio-economic reforms for their own long term good. Do not get that wrong to think I am telling Nigerian to endure with insecurity. I would never say or imply that because the solution to insecurity is crystal clear to me. We are not kids. You know in your heart insecurity cannot abate or end if Northerners do not want it to regardless of how capable Tinubu or any President is. Me and you know terrorism has sympathisers and sponsors at all levels of Northern leaderahip. I.e political, military, cultural, business and religious leadership across the entire North and even beyond Nigeria. Malami, in ADC today, is charged with abetting terrorism. While I won't proclaim him guilty without court conviction, I know, as a living eye witness, he did enough as AGF to aid the proliferation of Fulani terror in the South to reasonably believe he is guilty as charged. Yet Peter Obi and co are sniffing around Malami, Gumi etal for 'political food'. If Nigeria is full of sophisticated, brave and progressive minds then we should all turn on Northern leaders at all levels and insist they pull their weight to find solutions for the problems they and their people are causing Nigeria. We must fight against their current obsession and singular focus with gaslighting PBAT while their leaders, at all levels, do/say nothing over Northerners taking the fight to insecurity to instead remain focused on usurping power from the South. How are you people so self-destructively blind to this important consideration to be blaming Tinubu for everything as those who cause the problem want you to? SW leaders did not have to be coerced or forced to take responsibility to do what is right when they fought and spoke with one voice to deliver Amotekun in desperation to protect their people from imported terror. Northern leaders have never done similar to what Yorubas leaders did, validating the popular belief many of them are terror sympathisers and sponsors. Instead they create His bag to destroy alcohol and cane petty thieves as if they is the greatest needs of a region terrorist killing and distinction has taken over. Why can't the rest of us charge Northern leaders at all levels to focus on delivering solutions we know only they can rather than even joing them (Momodu, Okonkwo etal) to promote their desperation to return to power? Should the North be talking about one of their own rescuing Nigeria now when, for decades, we have seen them watch as terrorism took control of the core North? When Tinubu said security is not the responsibility of one man alone, what did you think that meant if not an appeal to Nigerians to open their eyes and demand responsibility from others who actually even have more power, in ethno-religiously divided Nigeria, to make a big and positive difference in the fight against terror ? When will it become clear to people like you that terrorism is now a tool the North uses to push their obsession with remaining in Aso Rock? |
swaggerific:Singapore did not "change overnight". They became a developed nation over 3 decades of enduring with reforms that created difficulties for Singaporeans for a considerable period of time . If you get that fundamental timeline wrong, it is obvious you are an unobjective and prejudiced critic of Tinubu. Claiming Singapore "changed almost overnight", when we all know three decades is not "almost overnight" shows you are a biased critic of Tinubu You clearly deny Tinubu, in power for 3 years, the considerable period of time Singaporeans made personal sacrifices to grant Lee Kuan Yew because they understood the need to give reforms time to achieve their objectives. Contrast the mindset of Singaporeans with that of Nigerians, like you, not politically sophisticated enough to understand the concept of given reformational change the time and support such need to succeed to the glory of all Lee Kuan Yew was Prime Minister for 31 years (1959 to 1990) of a nation and people with fairly good homogeneity of ideas and vision. Tinubu, maximum, is an 8 year President of a nation with zero homogeneity of ideas and vision because the people and region of Nigeria are polar opposites who do not deserve to be conjoined as the amalgamation of Nigeria created. Yet you expect him to turn Nigeria into Singapore over three years and knowing the terrible damage others before Tinubu had caused. I don't view you as sincere, well-meaning or fair at all.

richiemcgold:Yes, because that is what the facts and statistics show the USA that is never sentimental when it comes to protecting her citizens. The world knows factually that the two regions effectively giving Nigeria life, relevance and semblance of nationhood today are the SW and SS that provide the biggest chunk of our national income. This kind of announcement by the USA should put things in perspective for thinkers. Below, as the lady states, is what Presidents, political, business, investment and policy making leaders around the world think of Nigeria under Tinubu. Food for thought for those who don't understand the educated and developed world cannot be against Tinubu to then back throwbacks and regressive elements like Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso etal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph5XCf8jgOE?si=FMZnRTnuPKPUFTOU |
AMINDA:Rubbish as usual presented as general consensus. How about the many, Nigerians , who are well-read and exposed enough to understand how developed nation got where they are today? People in that category passionately believe Tinubu is doing exactly what developed nation did, including the unspoken appeal for Nigerians to sacrifice for a much better future as they have never had, so that Nigeria too becomes like Finland, Sweden, Canada, Singapore etal. You think everyone is against Tinubu because Nigeria has a disproportionate amount of people who are uneducated and lack critical knowledge. You will be shocked to see the error of your ways and thinking February next year as I have warned you already to expect. |
esnbrutality:The USA formal citizen protection policies and briefing is not formulated by illiterates and bigoted rabble rousers. They know Kwara is a State formally in the North Central region of Nigeria and not the SW region that formally consist of Lagos, Ogun, Ekiti, Oyo, Osun and Ondo State. "We didn't see SE or SS" you say. Work on your reading and comprehension skills. Learn to be objective also when reading an article or report. Perhaps then you will see what is in plain sight in black and white. In Southern and Southeastern Nigeria, the department urged citizens to avoid Abia, Anambra, Bayelsa, Delta, Enugu, Imo, and Rivers states (excluding Port Harcourt) due to crime, kidnapping, and unrest. |

insidelife22:Let me guess. "Tinubu must go" to be replaced by your Messiah Peter Obi ba? Keep dreaming. 2027 is between the APC and dishonorable born-to-rule Fulani supremacists and hegemonists in ADC who believe power is their birthright. Peter Obi does not feature at all in the 2027 big picture. Know that and be at peace. |
givedemwotowoto:You are accusing me of "deviating"? Are you for real? OP lied, with deliberately doctored fake new, and you are still trying to draw some warped inference from what upright people would simply walk away from as 'damaged goods' no sensible person should quote simply because it is inaccurate and a lie against Tinubu. No one is fooled by the emergency lovers of Nigeria and 'good governance' advocate pretence of you lot. We know who you are and will always be. We also know what you have always wanted to achieve, from the days of your forebears like Azikiwe, Charles Onyeama, Nzeribe etal, to understand te good governance of Nigeria is never the motivation behind all your negative talk against the government of the day you are desperate to demarket. It is not today history beyond the control of us all joined us in nationhood with you. |
givedemwotowoto:You are an unprincipled person. OBj was not talking about Tinubu. Period. End of story and a principled person would walk away from this thread because no point can be established using deliberately doctored fake news. Says a lot that you are still trying to draw a message from deliberately concocted and doctored fake news by those desperate to demonise the Tinubu government with lies. Commonsense tells sensible folks that people like you who stand behind fake and propagandist demonisation of others have bad intentions and are never an option (Obi) as a replacement for others (Tinubu) you are using lies to try and discredit in the eyes of the world. |
givedemwotowoto:Lol. Lie, fabricate and misinform as you wish. Tinubu will complete his second term to finish the good work he has started. The level of desperation of you guys is inhuman and scary. Honestly, Nigeria needs no external enemies hosting you guys as her "ciitizens". You are same people who, throughout history, have made your hatred of Nigeria crystal clear and have agitated non-stop to secede. You guys have never had anything good or complementary to say about Nigeria home or abroad Today you are the most vocally "patriotic" and dedicated "good governance" advocates in Nigeria above all others. Make it make sense bro. We aren't kids. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGNeOPNs3-A?si=95tSlvK9Yket0KfM |
TossTos:It is fake and doctored news bro. That is an 8 year old video of OBJ talking about the Buhari administration not Tinubu. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGNeOPNs3-A?si=95tSlvK9Yket0KfM |
Ofunaofu:Insincere "good governance" posturing over completely fake news. Typical. No intelligent and knowledgeable person is surprised. As if we don't know you do not have traditional love or patriotism for Nigeria, and never will, to be buying all these lies and noise you are now peddling everywhere simply to depose "Yoruba Government". |
The "Buhari dead an replaced by Jubrin from Sudan" people are so desperate. We know they love lies and propaganda but this is a new low. Watched the video and was suspicious when "Tinubu" was not mentioned as the message attached insisted. Lo and behold, the actual video is 8 years old and it is of OBJ talking about the Buhati Government. This is why Nigeria must be careful. Some people do not love nor want best for Nigeria. They are only bitter they did not get their "Igbo Presidency" and simply desperate to fight and sabotage the man (Tinubu) and people (Yoruba) they hold responsible. May God help Nigeria https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGNeOPNs3-A?si=95tSlvK9Yket0KfM |
floss:You ate talking to the wrong person about APC, PDP etal. Political parties in Nigeria have no ideological and/or institutional integrity. This is why leaders move from one Party to the next as if changing cars. Any intellectually evolved and pragmatic Nigerian would know that 2015 to 2023 Presidency is Buhari's and not that of APC. No further proof needed than how Buhari surrounded himself qith Malami, Mamman Daura, Abba Kyari (deceased) and other Fulanis to run Nigeria how they wanted and not how Nigeria deserves to be run to the glory of the people. Remember they pushed Tinubu away and were not interested in his presence or contribution in Buhari'sGovernment. You cannot call that "APC rule" and it is total idiocy, for example, to start blaming Tinubu and others for the rule of Buhari and his Fulani cabal all in the name of "they are all APC". Only Nigerians who wish to pretend our democracy is same as that of Britain and Germany etal, rather than a hundred years behind them, will talk APC, PDP, Labour etc. I am.a pragmatist and I don't engage in self-delusion. 2023 to 2031 is Tinubu's Presidency and, given the monumentally failed condition he met Nigeria in, I will scrutinise his Presidency critically after 5 years I.e after May 2028. I am solidly behind him till then as I know the extremely severe problems he met on ground and the time and effort required to overturn them. |
AMINDA:Like I said, you will be in tears February next year. Presidential election is first and will take place in January 2027. |
AMINDA:Keep quoting individuals here and there. You'll be in tears next year February. Guaranteed. |
BrickandLace:Yeah. |
Runaway22:What is insensitive in asking people to apportion blame correctly? Is it fair if I blame you when my Car breaks down even as you have nothing at all to do with that development? Trump caused this crisis for the world. Currently, 70 plus democrat have demanded his removal as President and are insisting Congress lead. Fact check this. How dare you guys make this very serious and grave global problem, caused by a sociopathic narcissist, to be the fault of Tinubu and the APC Government? |
Validated:Lol. He will. Watch the space to be schooled per how PBAT is master of all. As one example, you will see the positive results the 3.3 trillion naira payment PBAT has negotiated to settle GENCO and DiSCO debts owned since 2015 under GEJ, and through Buhari, till today. Tinubu has now worked to clear what is a monumental amount owed by his predecessors to improve power supply while Buhari and his Fulani cabal ( like Malami now in ADC ) were happy to pile up the debt, mismanagement and sleaze to pass on to the incoming government. After massive improvement in power supply will be war on inflation. The issue is that you you guys don't understand Tinubu wins easily controlling the political and socio-economic aspect of keeping stakeholders (leaders and followers) happy. He has got the political aspect locked down (over 30 governors out of 36) and will easily improve the socio-economic happiness of Nigerians shortly. Watch and see the plan unravel. Please don't cry when you realise Tinubu, again, has bettered your messiahs easily. |
helinues:Lol. Helinues, never ever forget what is shown below when you hear the claims and jubilation of Obidients.
|
Runaway22:What excuses is needed when Nigeria has become sane under PBAT to the extent global developments, i.e opening of Strait of Hormuz for two weeks, will have a corresponding effect in Nigeria i.e noticeable and quick drop in PMS per litre price? Has something happened in Rwanda, Cameroon, Kenya or Zimbabwe that has not happened in Nigeria for you to be casting your nation in a negative light as you're doing here prematurely? I don't know any other nation full of so many self-haters, like our own, to the extent we are even ready to accept blame for issues that has nada to do with us |
happney65:You are here cursing your nation and stating her leaders are "Oloriburukus". Yet you don't have a full grasp of what is going on to note that, currently, analyst globally are mocking Trump for recklessly plunging nations of the world into an energy crisis and severe socio-economic difficulties. Whereas the shameless Trump, having learnt a big lesson that the USA is not the supreme leader of the world, has done an embarrassing 'deal' climbdown without achieving a single one of around five or so reasons (find out for yourself) he gave for starting this senseless and egotist war too many indulged him to prosecute Why can you people ever temper your dislike for your own nation and fellow men of different ethnicity, religion and political affiliation with commonsense to understand you must not associate us with global difficulties we played no part causing? You hate Tinubu over fuel subsidy removal because you still want to buy petrol for 50 Naira per litre? Fine. Yet, what does this current global status quo have to do with Nigeria or Tinubu? |
Runaway22:Stop embarrassing Nigeria before the world. APC did not cause fuel prices hike the entire world is experiencing currently. The reckless and unthinking "Orange Man" did. Similarly, APC will not be responsible for the fall in PMS price now that the "Orange Man", with tail between his leg, decided to 'do a deal'. |
BrickandLace:You say this now. If PMS price fall quickly below 900 Naira per litre, as I am predicting it will, you will sing another tune. |
mightyhaze:Grow up. Is there really a thing called APC or PDP and Labour as, for example, the Labour, Conservative, Green Party etal exist in the UK? Nigerian Party politics is driven by self-interest of political characters and individuals and not institutional integrity of political Parties that is lacking in our nation. Proof is how Atiku and Hoebi ( I know you support one of the two) have moved Parties countless times showing that Nigerian politics has not evolved beyond personal ambition to be about institutional integrity and ideological steadfastness. Nothing sadder than people like you who talk in an idealist manner and in total disregard of the reality on ground. Atiku was a member of the same APC he wishes to present to the world as evil today. Obi too will join APC in seconds if he feels that will get him to Aso Rock. The sad thing , very tragic for us as a nation, is how leaders seem to be able to deal with the reality of where we are, moving from one Party to the other chasing their own interest, whereas you followers continue talking as if our democracy is on par with that of the developed nations of the world. |
sirchim:Lol. Empty noise from those who become more irrelevant daily in a changing world, in Nigeria and beyond, they contribute little to positively. Power is not your birthright. You cannot gaslight anyone with overt threats of using terrorism to gain power as the South never threatened Buhari with. Others are not your slaves. That much will become clear to you people moving into the future. |
mightyhaze:See shameless ignorance displayed publicly. Bruv you are doing yourself thinking you are damaging "APC". |
Flangelo12:Don't mind the OP posting ignorant doom-and-gloom garbage because of political favouritism towards Obi and prejudice against PBAT. He should even have predicted oil climbing to 6000 Naira per litre and not the 3000 Naira he mentioned. As if Nigeria even features in a global situation the deranged Trump caused that smart people already knew he would cave in and do a deal to alleviate given the extreme universal anger against "warmongering" USA and her "Orange man" President. The tool Trump has now done a climb down and about to walk away from Iran in disgrace haven achieved nothing, zero, nada. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c8r40y3rv75o
