bigpriik:Here we go again. Taking Panadol for the supposed headache of others. Why don't you mind your own business and leave others to their own? |
Naijahero1:You don't own a page or even a thread here because you are the OP. Get that into your head. |
Naijahero1:Seems to me you are doing that thing Obidients are now very famous for and shown below. Consoling yourself with delusional and premature jubilation is allowed till reality brings tears as is always the case with you Obidient dreamers. “Obidients will create a scenario in their head and start celebrating.”
|
@OP. Not surprising. Those who are dispassionately objective and well-informed know that Nigeria is arleady benefiting from the brave and visionary reforms of Tinubu and his team. Reforms now cited as a reference point for others to follow by the world bank and many global top economists and analysts. The future will be very bright if we endure and sacrifice so that pivotal reforms can bed in properly to achieve desired result of setting Nigeria on course to becoming a developed nation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph5XCf8jgOE?si=rxbDf1yPQ_XG-U60 |
eejo:Human resources far more important to Nigeria's greatness because it harnesses and properly utilise natural resources and everything else to the socio-economic glory of Nigeria. Educatioj is key and rebirth of Nigeria should be driven by quality education of Nigerians from primary school to at least SS3 stage. |
LottiOk:Honestly, it is very worrying some folks are like that. Troubling even. |
Princewill1:You call others "very slow" and you come up with the garbage above based on the rants of Epstein who is a psychopath? Can you separate psychopaths and their natural predisposition for lying pathologically? Bro, enough. This is silly abeg
|
erad:Lol. Conspiracy theorists always forget they still need allegations to make sense since others are not 'doolally' as they are. |
Macphenson:What do you expect Gowon to do? Rejoin the army and lead the fight against terror in his State? Solutions is in the hands of those currently in office and empowered to fight terrorism. Not Gowon, OBJ, IBB etal. |
Princedapace:You're simply speaking emotionally and ignorantly. FG does not have the money to "fix electricity" because even the inadequate supply we enjoyed was as a result of subsidy in the power supply sector. As simple as that. This is why the power sector has been totally deregulated to allow States craft their own unique power solutions. The hope is that a mix of FG effort allied with State taking full responsibility for their own power needs and then Nigerians complementing this, by a readiness to pay for power, will create a power generation and supply market where investors seeking ROI (returns on investment) can come to invest in the Nigerian power sector in a partnership that works for all. Full deregulation of the oil downstream sector saw Dangote refinery rise with BUA refinery and others on the way and not far behind. We now no longer have fuel scarcity with things even looking to get better, with greater competition driving down price, when other Private refineries are fully productive. That is a microcosm of what must be achieved in the power sector where unavoidable removal of fuel subsidy means you have to pay more for petrol to ensure reliable supply. Concept is same for power sector with Nigeria needing full removal of subsidy so private sector investors, with cash and expertise, can come in to "fix electricity" if Nigerians are ready to pay a fair amount for power they use once subsidy is gone fully. What I explained above is of course far more complex but hope you get the gist to begin educating yourself and stop talking ignorantly. We are in an information. Expecting FG to "fix electricity" is a hideously ignorant, irresponsible and unfair statement for any adult to make considering the mess we are in that consecutive Governments, failing to do the right things , got us into before PBAT who is now sincerely doing what must be done to secure lasting solutions for many national problems. Lastly, Solar power is a vastly under-utilised contributor to our power solution mix considering God has blessed us with favourable weather to make much more of solar power. The FG is therefore leading responsibly choosing to power Aso Rock with renewable and greener energy that will save Nigeria a lot of money in the long run. Nothing like "quiet abandonment" as the lazy article tries cajoling readers to believe. |
gidgiddy:Did the lesson you "taught" Tinubu in 2023 prevent him becoming President? Yet you are dreaming your bigoted votes in 2027 can deny him a second term considering he is running as a powerful incumbent who has consolidated power well? Try and reason less emotionally sometime. That might enable you to see and accept reality. |
Racoon:Aren't you ever tired of this illogical and discredited trope that reality discredits and simple logic debunks? Every single one of you, from the days of your forefathers like Azikiwe etal, will always argue Igbo have this special ability making them superior to others. Yet do you know anywhere in the world the 'special' nature of a people fails to manifest itself in how they live? If Igbos are truly specially talented folks, this would be reflected in the living reality of the SE that would be ahead of others by far. Alas, this is not the case and all we hear from you lot, decade in and decades out, are claims we are waiting to become manifest in the reality of your socio-economic life in the SE region. |
This is the same refinery that some of us were so overjoyed with and supportive of yet Obidients and their commanders of the Orchestra, Like David Hundeyin etal, insisted was a scam that would never produce a drop of PMS. Never have I seen a nation full of so many who are angry and bitter enemies-within to each other. May God save Nigerians from themselves if such a miracle is possible. |
AMINDA:Drama King don begin. Na only Paul Biya? Why not add Mugabe. |
truthera:Lol. How far Truthera my padi. Why you still dey cry na? Ndo. E don do. Shey you hear? God is at work to make everything well with you. Minus Kanu matter sha. God says there is nothing he can do for him. |
seunmsg:Lol. She is right about Obi who does not even know the difference between Snake venom and anti-venom. Yet I am sure she will come out today to claim she spoke misguidedly since they are both desperado ADC members currently seeking a path to power. |
Anyone paying attention to the unstable and attention-seeking Isaac Fayose needs their head examined. He is just a glorified political wannabe who did not have the capacity to step up as his elder brother did. Easy to discern his mindset if one notes all his talk are divisive and the sort that set camps against camps. He harldy talks of solutions, progressive development, policies and initiatives of Government etc. |
ChiefOloye:That guy is always speaking monotonously out of turn, on every issue to do with Tinubu, because he is simply too emotional, bigotedly prejudiced and clannish for his own good. I'd like to see a single commendation he has given Tinubu here, if such exists, yet he is solidly behind Atiku that all rational and critical-thinking Nigerians can never support to lead Nigeria when he has a history of residing in Dubai, as a Nigerian political leaders, by choice that is never to be found in the trenches with those he wishes to lead in Nigeria. He then appear every election year demanding the keys to Aso Rock. Who does that and, most importantly, who supports or vote for such a character aside those lacking exposure, political sophistication and ability to think logically/critically? We should ask ourselves where Atiku's actions, disdainful of Nigeria and Nigerians, would be condoned in the World. Even Ghanaians and other African nations we love thinking we are superior to cannot vote for a character who sojourns abroad and is never domiciled where he wants to lead. This anomaly, favouring Atiku, exist in Nigeria because of ethno-religious prejudice that does not allow Nigerians to become politically sophisticated and evolved enough to note what is obvious others can worldwide. No passionate supporter of Atiku, who has effectively done zero for Nigeria or any Nigerian since leaving office as VP in 2007, is fit or justified to be here in condemnation of Tinubu daily, like that Aminda chap does, unless they completely lack principles, integrity, uprightness and shame. |
Jayhome24:Let's face it. Even as we knows haters will remain too bitter to agree, Asiwaju is an institution as a political leader. He has done far more superlative and reformational things consistently (like build and define winning political platform other leaders use) than any Nigerian politician active after 1999. It is logical his consistent success as a politician and public administrator (highly lauded "Road Map" Governor of Lagos) will inspire followership confidence in young politicians who want to be mentored by the best so they too can have good careers/successes in politics. If Nigerians know how many succesful political leaders Tinubu has mentored and defined then they would understand why young, up and coming politicians would prefer aligning with Tinubu. It's a simple case of follow man wey know road, as far as politics is concerned, and not your father that will get you lost. What mentoring, for example, can self-centred, unprincipled and party-hopping politicians like Atiku and Obi provide for young political leaders? How to have joined and left 30 political parties before age 30? |
sigmax:Anonimi, who I seldom agree with, is right indicating you have dictatorial tendencies and would likely be a throwback parent. The sort intelligent and independent-minded adult children would resent. This is obvious because you are twisting what is simple with rhetoric to suit your outlook. "Personal conviction in one's vision" you use for example, in the context of this argument, is garbage. It should be replaced with political outlook, leaning or ideology. Your grown children have no obligation to follow your leadership political outlook, leaning or ideology if they decide to seek a career in politics. Tinubu believes growth and development of societies shoild be driven by innovation and private sector-led free market economies all anchored on decentralised democracies. If I am socialist/welfarist in thinking and subscribes to government interventions always, via subsidies etal, plus government control, I.e ownership/running of processes and entities private sector is better suited to run/define, then why should my independent-minded adult children be obligated to follow my belief and automatically align with me instead of Asiwaju? Whereas, for any clear-minded adult, the choice should automatically and simply be a question of whose political outlook, leaning or ideology they believe in as young and budding politicians. |
sigmax:This does not make sense and I don't believe you are a parent or even a child who has been put in certain positions with a parent. Otherwise you'd know children, when grown adults, don't owe their parents any loyalty over professional, career and employment choices/affiliations. It is as simple as that. |
ismodiwa:Entering National assembly Hall where legislator do the duty their constituents elected them to carry out is part of your right to "protest peacefully wherever whenever"? I sometimes wonder what world some of you live in because it certainly can't be one where you have responsible jobs, law-abiding and meaningful lives plus good reputation to protect going by how it is clear you have the mindset of Chinasa Michael who burnt BRT park down at OJota following Kanu's instruction that it is "his right" to target his "oppressors" properties and assets. Same as you want to observe "your right" entering the NASS at Sowore's instigation. Please, make sure you are beside Sowore when he moves to force his way into NASS. It is "your right". Continue ignorantly following the instructions of anarchists like Kanu and Sowore blindly as "your right". Those ones only know how to destroy the children of others with lies while their own are abroad safe and making progress. See third image below to note you can be imprisoned for gifting your brain to Sowore and co to use.

iwaeda:Isn't it about time you start using modern laughing emojis instead of this hideous green one from 1962 you insist on always? |
BENEAMATA:Don't mind them. To follow due process, as you even illustrate the provisions available for them to utilise, is now a no no because everyone wants to form Rambo and line up behind lawless and irresponsible Sowore with his family safely ensconced in what is probably a nice suburb of the USA. When hands touch them, as happened to Kanu and co, the tears and whimpering will begin. |
peleson1:Your point is fair but different to mine. It's a protest against our legislators. Meaning protestors proffer their demands and legislators listen to then act.one way or the other. Sowore threatening to enter the NASS, perhaps to go and assault or lynch a few Senators, achieves what exactly? The guy is a lawless and irresponsible thug. |
Kalulu44:Point is that Sowore, ADC and many others are agitating for the same thing. It is the anarchists Sowore alone who will suggest entering the NASS forcefully because he is a lawless thug. The way Sowore always opens mouth to make incendiary statements, that can lead to a breakdown of law and order, suggests he is mentally unstable. Is it not same protest Obi etal attended without threatening to enter the NASS? If the crowd followed Sowore stupid call and lynch a few Senators I am sure some Nairalanders would love that. |
Goonnik:Dont mind them. They always remind me of the saying "Pride goes before a fall" or "Pride goes before destruction". How prideful and boastful was Kanu who bragged he had the power to decide who dies or who lives merely because he was garrison commander of a gang of cultist killers, convicted criminals and drug addicts? Where is same Kanu today? Ekpa nko? Boastful and prideful as f*ck. Yet silence today in Finland and for the next few years Who pushed them to their fall and destruction if not those worshipping them like Gods. They are at it again with Sowore. That one will eventually meet his Waterloo for sure because "Pride goes before a fall. That we are a troubles nation does not mean we begin, by default, embracing anarchists and questionable character to lead us. |
