Kalulu44:You miss the point. Sowore as usual, because he is an anarchist, is threatening others. Not allowed. He should protest normally to gain whatever he is seeking. |
sweerychick:Oya na. Follow Sowore. Shebi na man wey know road be dat according to you lot? Go ahead. You will see what you have been asking for because of unobjective and ethno-religious hatred of the Government in power. |
fyneboi79:Sowore is no freedom fighter. He is a lawless anarchist and a headless Chicken. Classic example. Sowore pretended to be a politician and democrat to then contest Nigeria's 2019 Presidential election against Buhari. The minute Sowore lost with a pathetic 40k votes or thereabout, he declared "revolution now" in hope he would instigate Nigerians to rise up and topple Buhari. Sowore of 40k seeking a revolution against Buhari who polled circa 15 million votes while Atiku and others closer to Buhari in the vote tally congratulated the winner like democrats. Does Sowore, looking at his actions, even appear mentally stable to you? Good look to you "loving" Sowore's guts. Don't stop there though. Next time he convenes one of his attention-seeking, incendiary and senseless protests, please make sure you join him to agitate by his side |
OneCandleAway:Stop reducing the USA to area boys and local champions as if they have nothing better to do with their time than protect anarchists. If Sowore instigates a riot and legislators are hurt, he will be jailed. All this noise is no different to how thousands insisted Nigeria cannot jail Kanu without USA and UK etal sanctioning us. IPOB said same about Ekpa too. I.e Finland will never jail him. Bla bla bla. No nation can protect Sowore from clear criminal indictment. Let him go and enter the NASS complex and instigate Nigerians, always opportunists and calculative, to riot, rob and loot. We will go from there. |
Burob:Bro, these anti-government guys on Nairaland are mainly desperados, lawless elements and mischief-makers. The Senate did not say that automatic transmission of votes is annulled. They stated that it will not be possible for all areas so therefore they cannot approve of it as automatic and only option for every polling booth when that is physically impossible to implement in reality. What is likely to happen will be a compromise of electronic and manual recording/logging of votes to suit the reality of different States and local Government of Nigeria. This is obvious yet anarchist are making noise to include Sowore who got 27k votes in 2023 and Amaechi who cannot win his polling unit. Rubbish. |
SmartPolician:How is he defending stupidity? Isn't Sowore proposing anarchy here? Can you forcefully enter Congress in the USA or the House of Parliament in the UK without those being anarchic actions that will carry criminal charges? This is how you lot supported anarchy and terror, out of hatred for Buhari and Fulanis, till you pushed Kanu and Ekpa into jail and virtually destroyed your own region. Every lawful protest has a start and finish. You protest and then leave. You don't engage in violent conduct, incitement to violence, breach of peace, criminal damage, assault against our legislators etc, etc as Sowore is proposing. Some of us are adult who knows what is lawful and right. We do not have the luxury of being lawlessly irresponsible like the Sowores and Kanus of the world passionately supported by your sort. When you are not prevented from protesting you now begin talking of entering the NASS? Force your way into the NASS to do what? Put a gun to Akpabio's head and force him to sign whatever it is Sowore and ADC are seeking? Sowore should try it. |
Burob:Precisely. His defamation case is still pending and he wants to add breach of peace, violent conduct and destruction of property to it. Lawless nuisance jati jati. He want's to be a Kanu wannabe so desperately but does not realise Yorubas are law-abiding meaning not a single one will plead for him when it is time for him to go to jail. |
ottersberger:I was really tempted to ignore your post as your level of ignorance and lack of knowledge is simply dumbfounding thus fit only to be ignored. Yet doing that leaves your ignorant comment to misinform Nigerians and indicate to the unlearned and gullible that Yorubas "abandoned their Kwara brothers". Also your comments, if unchallenged and not debunked, encourages other haters of Yoruba like yourself to use shaping a future narrative of lies you guys have always desperately deployed to malign and demonize the Yorubas. Amotekun was formed by all States of the SW as a regional answer to the problem of insecurity. Amotekun is legally for and limited to the SW only having been created by the laws of Lagos, Ekiti, Ondo, Oyo, Ondo, Ogun State houses of Assemblies. What then is Amotekun's legal brief and jurisdiction to be operating in Kwara a State of the North-Central region of Nigeria? I don't know why you people hate reading and seeking knowledgeable so much yet you have no qualms embarrassing yourself showing you don't know what a smart 10 year old child does.

gidgiddy:Continue blaming the actions of the Brits, over a hundred years ago, for everything including the bigoted Obi mentioning only his kinsmen, out of 6 or so players of Nigerians origin who the Super Bowl, yet ignored three others who are of Yoruba origin. These are conclusive and indisputable evidence of what Obi is, i.e a repellent bigot, no British person is responsible for. These episode, coupled with the "Yes Daddy religious war" incidence and the likes, confirm Obi is not fit to lead beyond his Anambra enclave. The patently nefarious character of Obi is nothing at all to do with the Brits. |
WesleyPepper:Lol. Well-said. Someone should tell them we are long past the age of infantile claims and propaganda AI and fact check Portals can debunk in seconds. I agree with your conclusion. Obi and Aso Rock will never be officially united. That office is far above his intellectually stunted capacity. |
dragunov:They are jokers Bro. UN even openly recommended the model of Amotekun, because of how it has succeeded and endured, for the entire Nigeria as a template for fighting insecurity by declaring July 7th world Amotekun day. Yet some delusional folks are talking about their own non-existent effort. That's how those people are. They always see colour white, especially in regards to themselves, while the rest of the world see black. The topic isn't even up for discussion. If the entire Nigeria adopt the Amotekun model and dedicate to funding and sustaining the efficiency of their own regional force, as Yoruba leaders have done commendably, then Nigeria would be much safer. |
YoungLionken:You people are indoctrinated to always try and put others down in singing your own praises. You do so in total ignorance of facts as well. Abeg, tell us what all your SE leaders have done that has yielded anything, in impact and enduring professionalism, that is even remotely close to Amotekun that is the best complementary regional security group to the NPF in the whole of Nigeria today. You want to mention those Hisbah clown destroying bear or your disbanded Ebubeagu that only knows how to user weapons assigned to them to rob, loot, kill and kidnap? If you have the capacity to give credit where due you'd know Yorubas and their leaders are not your mates. Just face your SE "solution" and don't try and drag Yorubas, far ahead of you in efficacy and results delivered, into your ignorant and dishonest talk. Abi it is your clowns or Hisbah United nations commend and recognise officially with the designation of July 7 as world Amotekun day? Shior. https://guardian.ng/opinion/editorial/un-recognition-of-amotekun-clear-signal-to-address-insecurity/ UN recognition of Amotekun: Clear signal to address insecurity

Danisaint112:Some of you really amaze and petrifying me at the same time. You and your ilk amaze me because, effectively, you know nothing and are mainly always charlatan-like regarding the points (abi na garbage) you believe you are making. Yet you petrify me because you exist in large numbers. When people who know nothing at all, yet are significant in number, are labelling world class experts, who have seen it and done it all, as practising "Yaba-economics" then this shows how worthless a large number of Nigerian human resources is. Go ahead and justify your "Yaba economics" claim against Anna Bjerde, Managing director of operations World Bank, and tell us where you gained your own knowledge of economics. You lot are insufferable and annoying. All because of personalised hatred of others you deny the korokoro truth to wallow in deceit and idiocy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph5XCf8jgOE?si=ZzM_ul0HEotEKS25

Ezmans:It is more important for Soyinka, not planning to be President, to speak rather than Obi who ran to be President in 2023 and has again declared himself best candidate to be President of Nigeria in 2027? Nigerian education na bastard for real. |
yaroyaro619:Lol. Don't you mean next President of Biafra? Obi is never in the reckoning per who becomes President next year. If you have risen far enough above emotion and sentiments, to then be rational and dispassionately objective always, you'd be able to see this clearly. |
TheGreat99: Indeed. Political and religious control is all they live and have time for. Nothing else. |
lawani:100% agree. Secularity in public and national life/space must be sacrosanct for a nation serious about progress, growth and development. Leaders at all levels failed to act bravely in the past and now, detrimentally, religion has become "the opiate of the masses" of Nigeria (Karl Marx) and a fundamentally major headache of our nation today. Is it coincidence that China that has become increasingly anti-religion, with an openly Atheist leader Xi Jinping, has moved developmentally at literally the speed of light embracing and elevating STEM (science, technology, Engineering and Mathematics) above religious faith and worship? I personally and totally understand the negative indoctrination and damage religion is capable of that Kagame seeks to curb because he understands that a nation and people defined majorly by religious worship are a patently unproductive people, naturally least-adept at finding and delivering solutions for society, as Marx observed long ago. "Religion is the opiate of the masses" is a famous quote by Karl Marx, meaning religion serves as a temporary anesthetic, dulling the pain of real-world suffering and oppression by offering spiritual comfort, thereby pacifying the oppressed rather than inspiring them to change their harsh conditions. |
yarimo:Indeed. Always excellent at exposing the nauseating bigotry of Peter Obi. These are the sort of developments that show why Igbos maniacally and historically follow their Kaduna Nzeogwu, Ojukwu, Peter Obi, Abaribe, Kanu etal whereas they heap insults on detribalised Igbos who preach cooperation and unity with others like Soludo, Umahi, Igbokwe etal. It is called game recognise game. Even on this thread they are all defending Obi's repellent talk whereas imagine the hell that would break out if Abike Dabiri did this. |
masterfactor:Absolutely. He could not bring himself to highlight the players of Nigerian Yoruba origin involved same as Hitler etal could never praise Jews or blacks. |
Abeg, who is unaware Obi is a 💯% confirmed ethno-religious bigot? Imagine the effort it would have taken to be so petty as to look for only Igbos names to single out and praise while Nigerians of non-Igbo origin took part playing in the super bowl. Utterly repellent and nauseating person. |
MIKOLOWISKA:Adeyanju is a conman. |
AllBlack:I doubt you lack home training because men raised in good homes, where people have good manners and respect, are gentlemen who do not routinely insult women like unless deserved. |
hotseat:"Asiwaju, Omo o lo go, Omo o lo go" because Asiwaju na real Omo O lo go. Abi you need translation of Omo o lo go also? 😎 |
Zocalite:Oga don't insult us "data boys". Na 80k dem dey pay us not 70k. Abeg get your figures right ojare. |
Burob:Lol. No be today Wike don dey show dem shege banza. Even as Governor, Wike dealt with IPOB to the the extent they all fled. Men or women, Wike no send. The man just dey throw dem in jail and throway keys lol. |
Odin13:Egbon, you are done here and totally discredited as an emotionally clueless analyst and political observer. It is not me showing "stupidity" considering I have bested you many times to the extent someone capable of feeling shame would have quitely left Nairaland. Surprised you can even still show face here. It isn't me, Lol. |
FreeStuffsNG:What Soludo did was simply validate the saying "evil thrive when good men do nothing". That is the case with IPOB, UGM etal that are evil the complicity of many Igbo leaders allowed to thrive because they could not be decisively and uncompromisingly brave in pursuit of what is best for society as Soludo has been. Shame on IPOB overt backers (Abaribe) and covert endorsers (Peter Obi) etal who are guilty, by commission or omission, contributing to the anti-social and anti-development menace IPOB etal have become to the SE. The SE needs more development-focused and detribalised leaders like Soludo, Umahi, Mbah etal and never ethno-religious jingoists and hate preachers like Abaribe, "relgious war" Obi etal. |
muykem:Lol. Haters and ethno-religious bigots will though. Fact it that this is a great project, amongst several others, conceived ages ago to link Nigeria properly and secure great socio-economic benefits for our nation. That reality is a proven case with all nations where transport infrastructure and linkage is taken very seriously because of the obvious benefits. Roads, Overground and underground rail network, ferry transport etal are a big part of why the UK, Japan, France, USA and many other nations are developed. That is a fact. Nigerians should praise Tinubu for deliberately anchoring a big part of his infrastructure drive on starting/completing these wonderful projects others abandoned (for decades in some cases) that will directly and considerably aid the socio-economic growth of Nigeria. As you sad, even a mad man should have enough some sense to never call road construction, especially pivotal important ones, "waste of money". Only haters and enemies of progress will say that. |
And this is news how? Adeyanju should stop the attention-seeking ojare. He is inconsequential and obvious no one rates him and his Baze "University" law degree. |
Usmanovic95:Reading the whole thread, I was shocked by how many were taken in by this poorly written and illogical garbage. Personally, I think the poor quality of education on offer in Nigeria is a huge problem for our nation. |
Jakarta:Can't you tell it is satire? |
