Any little fame like this, next thing is to start smoking Indian hemp.... Can't there be a good role model amongst them? Olamide, WizKid, Davido, Burna, Zlatan, etc .... All of them drugs and substance abusers....

What a shame!

These young people are exposed to competitions beyond their mental capacity.
The Nigerian music industry is fiercely competitive and most times these young people take to such enhancers to remove every form of inhibition in their chosen lifestyle.

Go and research on how people use CBD for overcoming inhibitions and focusing during competitions

God blesses whom he pleases. You weh go school is still poor. You have to understand the laws and rules of nature.

Most successful firms are owed by most illiterates and third class graduates. Anyways how old are you boy? Seems to me you are still a kid

What some of u tag "blessing" is shame in the real sense. U See that young man in the post being damaged by drugs, and u refer to that as blessing and u probably also covet his lifestyle! Haaa!

Have u heard about the terms "Impact" ? What Impact are people living on drugs contributing to d society?

Am beginning to believe that nairalander that said Tinubu's henchmen are deliberately over flogging this mohbad's issue just to distract the masses from the grim reality that is confronting the country because what is this na? You know how many people have died since last Tuesday that mohbad died? Am tired of this matter

U should understand such was not imposed on the masses by the government. It is d POS agents that chose to be insensitive. These are very trivial issues that government may not be able to finger to details.

There are ATM machines scattered all over the town but unfortunately they don't dispense as low as 200 naira. POS withdrawal comes to rescue in such situation and the POS agents who are usually greedy, will always take advantage of such to cash out.

By this time next year marriage would officially end in southern Nigeria. Girls would become single mothers because of the greed of their people.

This I have seen.

One of them here already swearing that HE'D RATHER PUSH HIS DAUGHTERS TO SINGLE MOTHERHOOD than not have the items on the list provided.

Of course, instead of marrying a poor man like you who can not afford keke napep level bride price.

By the grace of The Lord Jesus, I own a tech training institute with staff working across schools and others working in the academy. I would rather bless my children and their spouses than expect to cash out from their marriage, and they will even be much bigger than me by God's grace.

The poverty all over u is so bold, and YOU WOULD RATHER HAVE YOUR DAUGHTERS END UP AS SINGLE MOTHERS than not gt the items on wedding list.

Because of your poor state, your are ready to destroy your children's future.

I will advise u to stop deceiving yourself. Work harder so that your life can get better, and stop swearing to make your daughters single mothers because of your greed and laziness.

I think you are not yet married and have no child. If you know how expensive it is to raise children in this modern world, you will pray never to handover your child to someone who can complain of a list that is less than a million naira, A million naira can not buy keke napep.

You are using one mouth to complain how expensive it is to train children, and with the other mouth u are telling the world how u are planning to train your daughters to become SINGLE MOTHERS and RAISE CHILDREN ALONE, all becauseu want d items on a list.
.
Oga go and train your SINGLE MOTHERS o!

The marriage list of my daughters will be expensive. Anyone who can not afford to marry my daughters, should better leave them alone. I have built adequate homes for my kids to inherit, so they better be single mothers and live on my estate than get married to poor people.

So u actually prefer u daughters REMAIN SINGLE MOTHERS just to collect items on a list?

Marriage among the elites is a trade. It happens within cycles for vested interests. I do not spend millions in education fund for my kids oblivious of these facts.

Why should I enroll my kids in schools and have school bus come ferry them to expensive schools and then turn around and handover my girls to a man who somehow is struggling to meet basic needs? That is nonsense.

The reason we train our kids in ultra expensive schools is to ensure that every friend they will meet and fall in love with, are on a certain class. Where will they even meet a poor person?

Na wa for you oh.

You don't invest in your children and expect to collect the returns from a man in a ceremony. It is a terrible mentally. You invest in your children to raise their chances of succeeding in life....and they will give u the returns all through life.

Is it d bride prices or the items on the list u want to eat all your lifetime? Or don't u know that there's a way u will display hunger and greed during wedding and ur soon inlaw (no matter how rich) will keep it as a bad record?

What do u have to say about all those who have aged past menopause and yet unmarried because of the outrageous demands from their parents? We're they not also sent to expensive schools?

In life u don't scratch your skin just the way u are feeling the urge. If u do so u will sustain sores. Take it easy with your culture of greed.

The OP can as well as stay single. That list is cheaper than nursery one school fee per session in an average private school.

With much less, OP will find decent women from families who don't see marriage as a trade. If u know the damage ur "culture" of greed is doing to your youth, u will understand the massage in the article.

U shouldn't see wedding as an opportunity to exploit ur son inlaw. It is rather ur last privilege to cater for your daughter as her custodian. So u should even give her all d super u can including finance...as your daughter and her husband will definitely always remember the kindness and take care of u in the coming days.

There was a time in MFM when Dr Olukoya was practically begging people from the SE and SS that they should take it easy with their culture of greed, as there are too many of them in church whose parents' demands won't allow them marry until they reach menopause.

500k as bride price?

So how much will the wedding itself cost?

These are the same people who abuse Nigeria and complain of hard times.

Damn idiots.

Your lives are not hard.

You’re just idiots.

People from that side are akin to wild animals. If u mistakenly find ur way to their jungle, they'll pound on u and drain u dry. I left their daughter and got married to my fellow Yoruba. She is now a househelp in Lekki.

It even seems they all feom that side must do househelp, cook or something similar in their lifetime

This is actually small compared to what I got... I really don't know what to do with that list

Mind you... It's the same Akwa Ibom state

I wanted to marry their daughter from Ona, for the fact that we're both Christians from same church. They came up with the useless list. This is a school cert holder that I already registered for a ui/ux program in tech academy of my workplace. Let me just stop there.

The father was cooperative initially and very happy with all d plans and moves I was making for her daughter, but one week to d wedding, the family started arriving from village and started making outrageous demands,

Very anyhow people.

Six months later I moved on with my fellow Yoruba. I do see the girl on Facebook selling data and recharge cards. I got to know that she is now doing househelp in Lekki.

Using the word crippled to describe someone that is physically challenge is an offensive word.

It is all wokeness. Initially there was no offense in saying that people are fat. As of today we have criminalised d term fat. Same thing applies to referring to a person as being crippled, nothing was wrong with it some years back.
Let's be patient, in our very eyes the same "physically challenged" will soon turn stigmatisation, and we will coin another for word it....ad infinitum
