Simeon Nwankwo has some qualities we lack in Eagles right now. In a 4-3-2-1 or 4-3-3 formation you need a striker who can sometimes hold up the ball and bring others into play. Simeon Nwankwo can be this man for eagles. He is good in the air and scores all kinds of goal. I think he should be on the plane to Russia as at least a substitute to Ighalo Chima Akas currently has the sweetest left foot as a Nigerian. Crossing is top notch. I will include him in the 35 man over Echiejile who is aging and has injury worries |
Buhari should return the money to National Treasury Senate should not sign that money into law. The NASS can not appropriate what has been spent. Senate should not approve that spending, they should simply ask Buhari to return the money. one day Buhari will answer for his sins when he has left office. He will go to Prison like Dasuki! No need to try to impeach him. |
Simy Nwankwo could be a good sub for ighalo Brian Idowu can play wing back and push moses up to attack
|
They should give him a chance in the 35 man list let him come and prove himself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9OBlkVKRxk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8p9Ra0ivHE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9irptFMYN6U https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qycss-c-pM |
They clearly have no achievement to talk about hence the focus on the silly list! |
Just tell Buhari to attend a Presidential debate and defend his record! He should respect Nigerian people and attend |
the worst thing is Buhari and his rigging machine will be hoping to rig the election and shed blood in SE and SS Buhari's vote will definitely reduce in the North |
LorDBolton:This post is covered in ignornce |
they call legislators looters and then approve 1 billion US dollars for equipment procurement without recourse to due process? |
this is an impeachable offence! |
I love Saraki he is a modern leader with a large heart. a better man than most leaders in Nigeria today I will vote him anytime anyday |
Iwobi should be an understudy to Mikel He should be a substitute to Mikel we have enough wingers, Victor Moses, Moses Simon, Ahmed Musa are all wingers. We dont need anymore wingers. Let Iwobi be played in the number 10 position that's his wing |
giles14:Uzoho is a far better goalkeeper than Ezenwa, even Dan Akpeyi if confident is better than Ezenwa don't worry with more friendlies against Congo, England and Czech, Uzoho will shake off the nerves and be the goalie he is born to be. if it is left to me I will take Enyeama to world cup as Assistant Goalkeeper coach/ Number 3 goalie. So that if things go incredibly wrong I can call on him. But I will maintain Uzoho as number 1 |
Danielomisco:Iwobi is good player but not consistent. At this moment he should be our substitute number 10 to Mikel |
JSMMUYIWA:Substitute to Ighalo Iheanacho is better off as super sub |
against England, Nigeria should return to that 3-4-1-2 formation we used to destroy Argentina and focus on that formation ahead of the world cup. The team should focus on that system because this system will help hide some of our deficiencies upfront and in the left back position Lack of a world class number 9 and lack of a fit and natural left back will be better managed under this 3-4-1-2 formation. all the strikers we have right now want to play with a partner also the use of 3 center backs of Omeruo-Ekong-Balogun will allow our wing backs to bomb forward and make up the numbers in attack. For a young team this is the perfect formation, we just need to practice it more and perfect it.

SARAKI |
she was a great woman |
when De Gea started for Man Utd he was also nervous and made mistakes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HviRmLHMMSY |
safarigirl:Thank you my sister, always aware of the facts The way this campaign to question Uzoho's age has taken a life of its own since he was chosen to play in that Poland friendly. Something tells me the lobbyists trying to champion the selection of their own preferred goalie are behind this campaign to attack Uzoho's integrity. |
DeRay98:Thank you at this competition questions about his age is settled because he would have had the MRI scan before being admitted to this U17 world cup. see video of him here when he is probably 12, you can see he is an overgrown boy lets stop insulting our goalkeeper by questioning his age, lets just support him. Afterall the world cup is an ageless competition. whether Uzoho is 19 or 50 makes no difference for the senior world cup! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQKlCaVc4f0 |
expecting a more controlled game and a win this time |
Everone cant be invited Moses Simon is doing well |
Gullah:He is the only other fit left footed player we have, just to try him there. Echiejile is struggling with fitness. (Idowu and Aina are right footed) Shehu Abdulahi was a midfielder, Ndidi and Onazi at various times have played rightback So Joel as a natural lefty should be tried in that position to see if he can offer something, Joel Obi has no chance in our current midfield, the other players are ahead of him in that position Even Man City have used Fabian Delph at left back because he is a midfielder who plays with left leg Man Utd even uses Ashley Young, a midfielder who plays with right leg as left back sometimes so not sure why you guys are surprised? |
pure Lie Moses Simon was a regular for KAA GENT until his injury!!!!! |
That team yesterday did not play to the capacity of our super eagles we played the whole first half with only one midfielder Wilfred Ndidi Iheanacho refuses to play number 10 when put in that role, he gets drawn to the post too much and leaves the midfield short. Iheanacho is better off as substitute striker/goal poacher to come on 70 or 80 minutes into play! Joel Obi is not a great midfielder. midfield is not about leg over and being able to dribble, Toni Kroos does none of those but he is very effective in midfield, same with Fernandinho or Debruyne. When Onazi came in our play changed because he is always available to receive the ball from defenders, always checks over his shoulders to see where others are and passes the ball before the opponent closes in. Joel Obi goes to sleep until he receives the ball and then he tries to dribble his way out of trouble, this is the simple reason why he gets injured too much. For Serbia match Iwobi should start as number 10, Ndidi and Onazi as central midfielders, the pacy Musa, Simon Moses and Victor Moses (Junior Ajayi) should form a front 3. Joel Obi's left foot should be tested at left back to see if he could be of any use to the squad in that respect. As far as midfield goes I don't think Joel Obi comes close to Onazi or Ndidi or Mikel or Ogu or even Etebo Uzoho should remain in goal for all our friendlies to help build his confidence ahead of the world cup. He is our best choice keeper for now. |
Line up: 4-4-1-1 ----------------------Uzoho Ebuehi----Troost Ekong ---Omeruo---- Joel Obi V. Moses---Ndidi------Onazi-------Moses S ----------------Iwobi ----------------Musa Nigeria should try the Moses - Musa - Moses (MMM) combination upfront. That will make for a very pacy forward line. Uzoho should play again against Serbia for 90 minutes and Ebuehi should be given 90 minutes |
the manager should stick with Uzoho he had a nervous full debut but stood tall at key moments, he will get better |
no leadership at all Onazi required in mindfield, he should replace Joel Obi Moses Simon or Ahmed Musa should replace Iwobi Ebuehi should replace Abdulahi Victor Moses should allow Iheanacho take some free kick around the box |
is Onazi injured? we need Onazi and Ebuehi in second half joor |
