I had been aware that the prices of everything had gone up. Aware in the abstract sense of it.

The stark reality of the unfortunate situation hit me hard on Friday 6 May in the year of our Lord 2016, at exactly 1:26pm when I went out for lunch break (breakfast actually cos it was more first meal of the day which obviously heightened my aggravation and sense of overwhelming doom).

That I Nnaemeka ordered for my usual plate of Akpu with Egusi and Oha but lo and behold, what was brought before me was food, the quantity which should be fitting for the size of the person on the left hand side in my DP, the gods bear me witness. I was shocked to the marrows. I had to ask the lady (just to be sure), if the food was meant for me. She replied in the affirmative. I am not one to engage myself in public displays of uncouth aggravation, so I swallowed my humble pride together with my discontent and accompanied them with the few morsels of food presented to me.

People, I can swear that those morsels of akpu felt so alone, tiny and abandoned in my tummy, that they probably shed tears of sorrow and wailed their fate of insufficiency.

The worst was however yet to come. As I prepared the last few lumps to swallow, I felt a craving, an urge, a need I hitherto thought I would never demand again.

I HAD TO ORDER FOR A SECOND ROUND!

O hunger! Where art thy sting?! This was something I'd last done since 2013 because over time, my stomach had come to accept fewer quantities of food before I get the feeling of fullness.

But Buhari! O Buhari! This administration has seen to the drastic reduction in the quantity of Akpu served at restaurants. An all time low quantity last experienced 3 years ago! Where then lies the hope of the common man? Where my people?!

If Nnaemeka Nwa Akanwa can no longer be assured his daily quantity of fufu. There my people lies my grouse. That is where it pinches me the most. I rest my case.

The gov't with good infrastructure, honesty, implementation, smart policies, and services can make a minimum of $3 every day on the average from a 100 million Nigerians =$300m*30= $9B/month (that is 5-7 times what we presently get from oil sales)!!!

Lemme keep this in my achieve in case this government get even close to achieving this in the next four yrs... I may run for presidency!

Paint fire is a chemical fire which is classified as CLASS B or K, as the case maybe. This can be stopped by Smoothering, that is, removing oxygen. In this case I wonder how removal of oxygen can be achieved.

I pray Fire Fighters Put it out.

No wonder why the factory burnt for like 7hrs... The effort of almost 6 different fire fighters was just to stop the spread of the fire to close buildings and the filling station close by. No casuality but some workers were injured in the fire outbreak. It was horrible.

OP, i wish i were the first to advice you so it will be a firm one.

When you grow older you will realize that love does not put food on the table or cause unlimited happiness. To be loved will cause you more happiness than you loving. Do not forget the saying that a bird at hand is worth two in the bush/air.

My ultimate advice is that you treat the other guy as your boyfriend and your boyfriend as the other guy. You just graduated, i think you are good to marry so start thinking in that line with the other guy and see where it goes. One thing you should know is that you cant have it all and cant build castles in the air either. Your boyfriend is too young to be serious with you thats the truth. You will be risking a lot to wait for him then probably lose everything. Take the one you have and dedicate your self to making it work. Even if you dont love him you will not have much regrets if atleast you are contented with what you have.

I am married to a very beautiful and intelligent woman whom i was not head over heels in love with. I know that and would never forget to atleast make her happy as gratitude for her love. After 4 yrs the love in my heart is incomplete but my happiness and satisfaction is complete. What more can i ask for? I am happy because my wife is very supportive, appreciative, contented, hardworking, submissive, loving and above all the mother of my 2 beautiful kids. She is not the sociable type and has below average dress sense so i buy her cloths i want her to wear. I buy my kids cloths as well and do more of the creative things. She is imperfect, i am too, but we are in the happy range as a family complementing each other.

I have seen atleast 2 wedding of seemingly perfect couples crash in 6 weeks to less than a yr.

What other advice do you need? You've got the perfect one here. Time to act, but don't make it look like hrtbreak to your bf, tell him your decision is necessary for both of you.

For those who are telling this young lady to follow her heart, you should have already know that, not only that this lady has a confused mind but a confused heart too.. If not, she wouldn't have share her problem on #NL.
And for ppl who are blaming this lady for going into the 2nd relationship, no one is perfect and the truth is that most of us does that (dnt let us be hypocritic here).
And for the lady concerned, try as much as possible not to rush yourself (cos you still have a long way to go)... Though i dnt know how long you have being with both guys but you have to take your time to study where the pendulum of both guys would swing (cos everything is not as they seems)..
Like a guy said earlier ''Life is not a fairy tale and nothing is ever guaranteed''... It doesn't happen in real life like we watch in movies..
And if you think you need a quick solution to your problem, seat the 1st guy down to know what he's up to, what he has in stock for your relationship and if he can't give a convincing answer, then give him some time before you walk away.
As for the 2nd guy,, tell him to give you some time if he truely loves you.
As per your viginity, hummmm, Do as wish you wish but make sure you don't loose it for the wrong guy and for the wrong reason.
