Okay then. Let's see the stuff they are made of - in the battle field. |
Since May 29, lies lies and more lies. 50% or more of all the news in the media had proved to be false. From now on I will not believe most ' news ' until after 3 days and there is no refutation . What a country! |
And these are the perm secs that know everything about government that makes Buhari not to appoint ministers. Whom now do we believe - the presidency or the ministry? I am tempted to say that this administration is confused--as in nobody is in charge. |
You want to probe and reveal, start from Gowon, through Buhari's first missionary journey to Obasanjo's second missionary journey. Then Jonathan. This is called justice and equity. The problems/corruption in Nigeria did not start, and may not end, with Jonathan. I will prefer that this government recovers all recoverable monies, plug all revenue leakages and put the money to better use. There is no need to make noise about the issues. That is why people voted for them. ' Disgracing' Jonathan with all these revelations will not help them in any way. Assuming GEJ is imprisoned, will that end Nigeria's problems? ? |
I posited during the APC presidential primaries that if it took them so many weeks to come up with the president's vice , forming a government will be an uphill task if they win. And that is exactly what is happening. APC why? Pity fellow Nigerians especially as regards Boko Haram menace. You don't even issue comforting and reassuring statements anymore. |
So what was the Deputy Senate President supposed to say. That Buhari should wait a little longer and at the fullness of time should declare war on Boko Haram since Jonathan couldn't eradicate them in 6 years? When will these people stop the blame game and secure Nigerians? I bet ya if Jonathan had continued in office, BH would have been a thing of the past |
The former head of state, however, lauded Ojukwu for his courage in defending his people during the war, saying: “if Ojukwu were in my shoes, he would have equally waged the war" And, sir, if you were in Ojukwu's shoes, I bet you, you would have seceded. |
From the pic, it looks like the lad is teaching the man how to operate the tab (PA ) while the man marvels at modern technology and the lad's know how. What else could it be. |
This people's publicity and propaganda stunts are getting on my nerves. For crying out loud, if he likes let him use Volkswagen Beetle. Enough of these Modesty Abracadabra. Some hero worshipers will term this as an achievement. Tell us what he has done NOT what he rejected to do. So Jonathan's choice was right afterall. |
Imagine government actions instilling fear into the people instead of joy. On whose side is government supposed to be. During elections they will kneel and beg for people's votes. When they win, the people can go to hell with their yearnings and genuine fears. Anyway, let's see how the relocation of the Boko Haram prisoners across the country unfolds. |
I am not politicising Boko Haram. What pains me is that BH was almost annihilated before May 29. Couldn't this administration have taken it from there and finish them off? Is government good policies not supposed to be a continuum? So ,because GEJ initiated those moves, they have to be abandoned in the name of ' opposition 'You don't have to be a magician to articulate and build on what your predecessor started. |
#gejwhileyouwereaway we are now enjoying almost steady power supply in my area due to your Power Roadmap and Privatization although your haters may like to give the credit to your successor. We the impartial observers appreciate how you were TRANSFORMING Nigeria . |
If Buhari likes let him head all the ministries. Let him play and man the post at the same time. What we want is good results. But, can he cope? - at his age and state of health? He should get intelligent egg heads to help him to formulate and oversee the implementation his policies. That's what ministers are for. The Federal Executive Council meetings are not tea parties . The perm secs CAN NEVER replace the FEC meetings. The earlier, the better. |
Mr spokesman : You can fool some of the people all the time. You can fool all the people some of the time. BUT YOU CAN NEVER FOOL ALL THE PEOPLE ALL THE TIME. You are duty bound to defend your oga -- even if he p**s in public BUT within you, you are aware that all is not going well with this administration. Isn't it obvious? Boko Haram for instance . |
As the saying goes : The handshake has passed the elbow. I wonder how our elected leaders - from the president to the legislators - feel with all these bombings. They should all hang their heads in shame. What a country.Who then shall we run to when they are busy bickering over who heads the sharing of the National cake. |
At least less hungry mouths to feed with tax payers money. Hope they have not been brainwashed/agrieved while in detention. |
Maybe Boko Haram should bomb Aso Rock and the National Assembly so that our elected leaders should sit up to their responsibilities of providing security to the electorate instead of bickering over who should preside over the sharing of the national cake. |
If there is forgery of Senate rules - of whatever type - , is it the Deputy or the President that will be called to explain? Hmmmm . Shagari and Ekwueme scenario comes to mind. Turning and turning in a widening gyre. ................... |
Can't these Northerners hold the president and their governors accountable for this their plight? And one of the NE governors even said that Buhari's election is one of the good things to have happened to the north. How? |
VickyRichmond:It is called witch hunt but some bandwagon joiners will shamelessly deny it |
At this rate, I see 4 years being wasted fighting GEJ . How many people have been killed by BOKO HARAM since May 29 and we are busy chasing rats. Somebody is seriously concerned about his personal security or does SSS confront BH? |
So the soldiers were posted to the prison to protect boko haram convicts because of the people's resentment. Not even for the security of the community. And we are in a democracy where people's wish is supreme. This is Buhari's decree 1 of 2015. Otherwise, our National Assemblies, who should protect the interest of their constituencies, should overrule him on this. I thought we were through with dictatorship. Or did our legislators debate this callous anti-people action? |
Dare I say that all the Northerners living in the South East should plead with Buhari to listen to the Ohaneze because if there is a jailbreak and bombs start going off, every northerner automatically becomes a BOKO HARAM suspect. What will then happen? Your guess is as good as mine. Buhari shouldn't add petrol to a smoldering fire. Build a maximum security fortress somewhere in the arid north for BOKO CONVICTS. Imagine these terrorists sharing the same environment with free responsible citizens. |
Self indulgement while Nigeria burns. I know some people will be regretting voting the way they did though may not readily admit it. |
I won't believe this news until after 3 days and there is no denial by Femi or Shehu .O yes. It has come to that. Until APC sorts itself out . |
These Boko Haram convicts - are they sentenced for life, awaiting hanging or for a period of time. If Buhari wants to put these terrorists in prison, he should copy America and build a high security fortress somewhere with very scarce population - those semi desert regions in the north - and not in a place with a very high population density. Doesn't he have security advisers ? This action looks like a hidden agenda to me no matter any contrary explanation .Buhari should not add petrol to a smouldering fire. |
Clap clap clap clap clap clap for his media advisers. What is the essence of this picture with respect to the problems facing Nigerian right now . Prayers is a private affair. Even if GEJ showed off, must he copy him and still sing "change "? |
BUSHHUNTER:So you have a Rome in New York? Can Sharia operate in America? A parallel government in Nigeria operating a parallel legal system. What a country! And some people are still wondering what is the problem with Nigeria. |
During his first missionary journey as a dictator, within 2 weeks, he had issued uncountable decrees and hounded so many people into detention . Dr Ekwueme comes to mind. Now, after 3+ weeks, we are yet to see any change from the previous administration's policies. |
Jega's wish is akin to : A referee that officiated in a keenly contested controversial match in which team A won. After the match, the referee now applied to team A to be their manager. If for no other reason but on morality and integrity, Jega should lie low for now. Imagine prof Iwu asking for appointment in the Yar'Adua /Jonathan admin. when his tenure has ended . |
If that is his wish, then Buhari should reappoint him as INEC Chairman for another 4 years. That way, 2019 is guaranteed for ............you know . |
Testing testing testing And how do you bolden letters in the quoted - for emphasis? Okay got it! Put the text between .Right? Thanks OP. |
