PoliticsRe: APC And The Spirit Of Witchcraft - By Femi Aribisala by WOCKHARDI(m): 10:59am On Sep 06, 2015
There is sense in what this man is saying o.
Ofcourse senseless people will not comprehend it.
Especially those that chanted " Even if Buhari and Tinubu were caught robbing the Central Bank, we will still vote for them "
100 days and no clear policy and economic direction. Busy fighting corruption while the country is grounded. Na wao o.

Lol....Q1 : What has this guy been smoking? E strong sha! What he should be bothered about is: were the appointments on merit?
I thought you were well brought up. I don't know your age but definitely this man is your elder. You can make your point without abusing your dignity - if actually you're a lady.
So merit obtains when Buhari makes appointments but not when students are admitted into tertiary institutions. Here, you remember federal character at the expense of merit.
PoliticsRe: "A New Sherrif Is In Town" By Femi Adesina- Special Adviser To Buhari On Media by WOCKHARDI(m): 9:45am On Sep 05, 2015
An interesting novel. But, unfortunately, it is a fiction. Action speaks louder than words.
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Over 50 Killed, Many Injured As Terrorists Attack Market In Borno by WOCKHARDI(m): 9:06am On Sep 05, 2015
So what exactly did the president and his entourage achieve from the USA homage? Is Boko Haram really stronger than the ' mighty ' America or what?
Nigerians have to be alive to enjoy any recovered loots ( if any ) from the list of looters allegedly promised by USA.
PoliticsRe: Probe: Jonathan Holds Meeting With Ex-ministers by WOCKHARDI(m): 7:33am On Aug 31, 2015
ORACLE1975:
I must say I like the bold move of the Jonathan Ministers because from my humble but candid observation, I think the APC has no
agenda and they represents a crop of old and failed politicians who are bereft
of leadership ideas and experiences. Each time I read news from Nigeria, I am
appalled by the arrogant insinuations of the APC and its bad mouthing the
Jonathan administration, even though it is no longer in power. This APC
strategy is one clear characteristic of poor and inexperienced leadership.
While I am not a politician and would never want to be, I would very much love
to contribute my quota to develop Nigeria when I come home. I want APC to learn
from great leaders like the pragmatic and resilient Barack Obama. When Obama
came to power in 2008, the US economy was so bad that it was in deep recession.
The magnitude of such economic disaster impacted the whole global economy that
it plunged into a level as bad as the great depression. Obama did not rule by
making Bush a reference point at every instances or wasting his time conducting
any probe of the Bush administration. Instead, he tackled the problems he met
head long. It is to Obama's credit that the world was steered out of recession
and the global economy became flamboyant once again. Unemployment rate in the
US is now 5.2% down from 9.1% when Obama took power. Even at this present time
when global oil prices have fallen, and big economies like Russia and China are
seeing their surpluses turn to deficit, the US can boast of having one of the
strong economy in the world. The lesson is simple: good leaders do not look for
scapegoats for their own failures. They do not continue pointing accusing
fingers each time reality stare them on the face. They instead put plugs to contain
the problems and stop them from getting worse. The present Nigerian leadership
seems not to know the problem facing the nation. They dont seem to have ideas. The
only ideas they seem to have is how to demonize PDP and cast aspersions on the
people who served the country in the last administration. Noise making, we all
know, cannot solve problems. Noises about stolen funds and waiting until the
funds are recovered before one can start ruling is cheap blackmail. When Buhari
came to power years back, among the problems he said he is fighting was
nepotism. But nepotism of sort is what Nigeria is seeing from his current appointments.
The President should roll out his agenda and his plans to make Nigeria great
even with the limited resources he met on ground. His ability to start working
and not talking about money that has already been spent, will engrave his name
in the annals of history. We Nigerians both home and in diaspora are ready to
work with him. Throwing muds and casting aspersions all the time is getting too
boring and stale, and is a sign of rascality, ineptitude, and an area boy
approach to politicking. It is only in Nigeria and Africa that such leadership
trait is lauded as an achievement. Dear President Buhari, history beckons on
you. Do not let people who have malice and hatred in their heart or axes to
grind drag you into their tirade. If you should be angry over anything, your
anger should be directed at audit Departments in all the Ministries and
parastatals where lootings took place. They earn fat salaries for doing no job,
and they drive shinny cars and live in luxurious homes, and now want you to abandon
your enormous job of governance and do their jobs of checking ledgers.
BUHARI PLEASE SETTLE DOWN.
EXCELLENT.

DonXavi:
Is like buhari dont understand english here!! I read what the former Ministers told buhari but from his response it seems he needs a translator, they never asked him to stop his anti corruption war, they even back him, but warned him to stop unnecessary insult and attack on ex president Jonathan, and they even promised to be ready for probe but that he should treat everybody equally.
Exactly
PoliticsRe: Jonathan, Reason We Can't Give School Kids Free Meal Or Pay N5,000 Monthly- APC by WOCKHARDI(m): 6:51pm On Aug 30, 2015
JONATHAN SHOULD SUE APC FOR DEFORMATION OF CHARACTER. THE HANDSHAKE HAS PASSED THE ELBOW.
IF THEY HAVE ANY EVIDENCE, THEY SHOULD PROSECUTE HIM OR FOREVER HOLD THEIR PEACE. THE ABUSE IS TOO MUCH. IS HE THE ONLY PAST PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA? IS IT BECAUSE HE IS NOT A RETIRED GENERAL?
I SAY JONATHAN SHOULD SUE APC FOR DAMAGES.
NONSENSE.

PoliticsRe: Outsider Emerging Customs Boss Rubbishes Career Progression – Group Tells Buhari by WOCKHARDI(m): 12:53pm On Aug 29, 2015
akindeleadeolu:
I honestly believe not all Customs officers are corrupt, PMB should have look more inwards before bringing a total novice to come oversee such sensitive govt agency as custom whose operations is more professional.Mr President advisers are doing a bad job for now. This appointment should immediately be reversed to prevent the sartity of the custom profession.
The President has no advisers /ministers.
He takes unilateral decisions maybe because he belongs to nobody.
He should have reasoned that the Customs rank and file may not be happy with the idea of non of their own being their boss. They can really make things difficult for this man and frustrate his efforts - if they want.
PoliticsRe: A Pie Chart Showing The Pattern Of Buhari's Appointments by WOCKHARDI(m):
Someone should tell Buhari that the war ended 45 years ago. Why did he stake his life to keep Nigeria one. Where is the nationalism? Or was that war prosecuted for selfish and regional interest? The Igbos are not happy with the situation of things for now and as the President, it should be of concern to him. Or is it that he doesn't give a damn?
Okay I get it : 95% and 5% thing. What a presidency!
PoliticsRe: APC Leaders Angry As Buhari Appoints More Northerners by WOCKHARDI(m): 7:39am On Aug 28, 2015
Everybody is talking about the North. Where is the South? When northerners are busy planning, the so called southerners are busy being antagonistic to themselves while the SW, in particular, will always feel more comfortable being a northern ally .
From the way the North reasons and by their actions, if the South were united, by now we will be talking of Northern Nigeria and Southern Nigeria as two independent countries.
But as I said the North will always have a willing ally for ' ONE NIGERIA '
So, please, nobody should disturb us with any complaints .

PoliticsRe: It’s Difficult To Recover Nigeria’s Stolen Money Stashed Abroad —US Ambassador by WOCKHARDI(m): 8:11am On Aug 24, 2015
Sincere9gerian:
Lolz.., very different from the information Buhari and APC have been feeding their gullible supporters with. Going by the propaganda, one would think the trillions of dollars, allegedly looted and stashed abroad, will be recovered and culprits imprisoned in a matter of days. That is even if there is any looted fund stashed abroad.

In other words, we're saddled with a govt that is on a wild goose chase, and this is a govt that will hit the 100 days mark in a few days, no cabinet, no project initiated or continued, no policy, no programme, no achievement and no direction, with confusion reigning supreme. Everything is on autopilot from the way it was left by the last administration.

Govt of propaganda, by propaganda and for propaganda! Govt of body language and fear of Buhari. Yeye dey smell.
And they promised the Ministry of Women Affairs that it will be funded with the recovered looted monies. This means that they have a long long time to wait. Pity!

That committee has no powers to select or screen Judges,Only the national judicial council is empowered to do such. Am suprised a constitutional lawyer and SAN would be part of such frivolity
I thought Buhari chose a professor of law and a SAN as his vice so that he will be well briefed on matters of this nature. And I believe he was well advised. Or was he?

And please, don't incite the Igbos because they know which side their bread is buttered.
PoliticsRe: Buhari To Set Up Special Courts For Looters- The Punch by WOCKHARDI(m):
As in ' Military ' Tribunals!
I doubt if the National Assembly will amend the constitution to grant this undemocratic dictatorial request - because most of them may likely be indicted having served in various government agencies in the past.
Anyway, let us watch and see.

this prof. is indeed becoming senile... because you are a prof does not make you wise. how can he say nigerians are not intelligent by electing president buhari just because he feels otherwise. old man go and sit down. there are younger and better profs around who believe in mr. president.
The professor is correct in his analysis.
Buhari was elected, yes. But the majority may not always be right especially in situations where ethnicity, tribalism and religion influenced people's judgement - as was the case during the last election.
You want to compare notes with a prof?

PoliticsRe: Corruption Probe: Peace Committee Shocked In Meeting With President Buhari by WOCKHARDI(m): 11:44am On Aug 12, 2015
It is hereby recommended that Buhari should spend his first 4 years in office probing Nigeria's looted funds since 1960. You can imagine how much we will recover. With such heavy recovered monies, we can now reelect him for another 4 years to utilize the fund to fix Nigeria once and for all.
Oh what a blissful and corruption free country Nigeria will be. Afterall anything worth doing ( probing ) is worth doing well. Yes?
