Buhari seized power in 1983, ruled for 20 months and was overthrown. In 2015 he won the election, was sworn in, ruled for 20 months and disappeared from the radar. Coincidence or jinx |
I thought he meant the Cabal in Aso Rock. |
Over hyped "second Niger bridge ". Who is kidding who. |
Didn't our constitution say anything about how many consecutive days the president will be absent from his office ( especially on sick leave) before the Federal Executive Council does something. Can he be absent until his tenure runs out? Just asking. |
I beg to disagree ma'am. Why was he rejected on three previous elections? Your husband won because majority of the people voted AGAINST Jonathan plus some irregularities and voting manipulations especially in the North, and the greediness of the Afonjas whose plans seem to be working. If PDP had fielded a fellow Northerner against him, he wouldn't have stood a chance. |
Anthony0094:No they won't. They will rig themselves in after incapacitating the opposition. |
Meeting on how to share/borrow money instead of how to generate same and prosper the country. One Dollar is now 510 Naira. We export our God given liquid gold to other leaders and buy the refined products from them at exorbitant price. PMS will soon cost more than #145/ liter. Shame on you all our leaders. |
What a geographical expression. |
A humane proposal for Buhari : Resign. Any seriously sick president deserves the time and space to focus on his health. He can hardly do so while shouldering the burden of running a complex and beleaguered country. Besides, Nigeria is beset by grave crisis that appear to worsen by the day. Nigerians deserve a leader at the height of mental and physical fitness, a president endowed with agility and energy to wrestle with his country's deep-rooted problems. The trouble is not just that Buhari is enfeebled by age and illness. The greater issue is that he presides over a country that is manifestly sicker than he. The idea that an ailing man can effectively mind the business of a more seriously sick country is, quite simply, absurd. Should anybody doubt the graveness of Nigeria's sickness, the fact of President Buhari's prolonged medical trip to Britain should settle the matter. We don't need an Acting President whose powers are limited. |

And God in His Magnanimity gave us this liquid gold free of charge. Yet we can't manage it for our prosperity. We export it to others and import the refined products from them at exorbitant price. SHAME ON OUR LEADERS without exception. |
I am not bothered if I'm crazy or not. But one thing is a certainty : This 'parcel' will sooner or later be opened. We'll then know those that are crazy. |
Since Femi is in Nigeria, so he was part of the Conference Call as to know what was discussed. Me, I'm not bothered. There is no need pinching a parcel that will sooner or later be opened. |

What do these polithiefians take us for. More than 60% of the APC members were in PDP ( including El Rufai) and participated actively in looting our common wealth. In any case why always try to make us angry with the past so as to forget our present where they are also actively involved. We are not kids. Can this man sincerely swear that things are now better in Nigeria under APC than the last 6 years under the PDP aside the over bloated NOISE about corruption. |
Abeg, make una no vex o. Can someone give me one good reason why I should be happy with this news - excluding "because he's your president". The dollar has now tumbled to #503 and still falling. |
Sanchez01:All Ye children that quoted me, I'll use this one post to answer you all : I am a witness to all I said. I was not told of what happened ( as most of you) nor did I learn them from distorted stories published here and there. As Achebe said " Until the lions have their own historians, the hunter will always glorify the hunt" Also as our people say " Men do the fighting and the women tell the story " |

Anyone that doesn't know the events that culminated into the Biafra - Nigeria war should shut the Bleep up. If Biafrans had 1/1000th the arms and ammunition that the British and Russia supplied the Nigerian troops, we would have been telling a different story by now. Ojukwu didn't declare war. Gowon did. Ojukwu was concerned about the welfare of his people. Does that not make him a hero among his people. Why won't he go on exile when it is certain that the vandals will not spare him. Did you hear the battle cry of the Nigerian troops in Hausa language during the war? Ask those who heard it and you'll realize that the war was an extension of the genocide against the Igbos. These are historical facts. |
This one na Aboki kwura grade one. Imagine a law maker with such mentality - and he is supposed to be "thinking for us". |
With all due respect, it is not so much that Buhari is old as that he is battling with sickness and, especially, may not be the most brilliant and intelligent president around. That's why the country is wobbling under his watch. There are older presidents that are performing excellently. |
Aragon:Are you absolutely sure that Osunbade is in charge? |
Anticorruption:Aisha Buhari knew this fact all along. Yet her husband tried to cover up by confining her to za oza room . |
My fear is : If Buhari cannot continue for whatever reasons, can the Acting President take Nigeria out of the woods? Again how will the North take it this time around? Yar'Adua's issues may be a child's play compared to what might unfold. As someone imagined, who knows the extent of looting going on now in Aso Rock! Only by restructuring will Nigeria get it right once and for all. |
2Face Idibia, you have tried. Your concept of the protest alone and all the publicity, preparations and support have achieved something. The awareness of the need for the protest, to me, has achieved a lot for discerning minds. If only this administration can read between the lines, it will know that the 'protest' was a success. With the threats from the security agencies, there is this saying that " only a tree will hear that it will be killed and still stands its ground ". He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day. Meanwhile, awaiting the D - day Feb 6th. - if you know what I mean. |
"When the people are afraid of the government, it's TYRANNY. When the government is afraid of the people, it's LIBERTY " - President Jefferson of USA. Where in our constitution is peaceful protest proscribed as illegal? It's the duty of the police to ensure that the #ISTANDWITHBUHARI group does not hold their own antagonistic procession around the venue of the protest. They are the hoodlums that the police are referring to. Or are we still operating under the Decree that banned even peaceful protests? |
This sounds more like it. Angelb4:Than what they want us to believe : "They presented to Onnoghen the dossier the security agencies have on him to go through, showing why they delayed to confirm him. He would have to guard against some of these things when he takes full charge of the judiciary,” the source said. |
I believe Buhari and APC are in this plot together with 2019 in mind. Maybe Onnoghen has shown that he won't be anybody's puppet. |
In the build up to the last elections, Rotimi Amaechi boasted that there must be CHANGE either for BETTER or for WORSE. We're now having the worst of it and instead of apologizing to Nigerians for their cluelessness this man is busy dishing out disgustingly annoying lies. |
In preparation for the Anambra governorship elections? So that APC will rig you into office? Fa fa fa foul. The one wey Peter Obi trash you never do you? You can never be my governor. Never. By the way what have you done in your constituency as a senator? Nonsense. And talking about ideology, so you had none while you were in PDP? Will you kindly and immediately return the mandate given to you by PDP and step down or await a recall referendum on you. Mtcheew. |
As in the expression : SHE'S ALL EARS! ![]() |

The same man bolted without tell his people, yet you say he was concerned about the welfare of his people. It is the very reason I loathe Kanu. He claims to be knowledgeable and angry but would rather lead another millions of people to their death.
