It's not the bank, the ATM has been compromised. Fraudsters install card skimmer on atms to capture your pin and card. It would appear as if the machine swallowed it. As soon as you leave the location, they go in and take out the skimmer and input your Pin to get the money out of your account.

Be very wary of the Atms you insert your card into.

Probably because they couldn't pick it up from your credit file. The best way to get around that is to apply for provisional licence first. Banks are trying to discourage cash deposit cos of money laundering but you can still pay cash into starling. You have to inform them in advance and they will direct you to a partner bank or post office.

Completely agree! You don't need proof of address to open a starling account and the process takes less than 30mins. I've been using starling bank for over 6 months with no complaints. In fact, I am considering making it my main account sef.

All my outgoings pass through Starling except for transport that I use revolut for. With revolut, you have the capability to save lose change into a vault and also do cryptocurrency. Monzo is for savings. I can't remember the last time I touched my other cards. I'm seriously considering switching to Starling business account.

A Nigeria friend I met at Asada shop last week, told me that was what she did when she came to visit her husband with 6months visa, and as soon as the hubby got his permanent resident, he filled for the kids born in the UK and the one she brought from Nigeria. She just encouraged me not to go bk to Nija but I am scared of deportation.
