AK 48: And work in your father's company?Do you have a father? |
Acidosis: No sir, but I will not cheat on someone who gets angry easily...Dem no dey place am for forehead o |
coogar: they cannot insist i give a figure....they know what the market rate is so why ask a trick question? hard line interviewer would only jam with a hard line job applicant! i always win.Come on coogar..Nigeria is a different terrain. We have a lot doofus in that country who are psycho interviewers. |
Acidosis: If you discover that you need to cheat, why not break up formally with your partner before cheating on him/her.Load of bullshit...so, you'll maim if you are cheated on? |
ncee: Wot professional courses r best for someone dat read Statistics?Go and hone your MS office skills like Excel and Visio and be a data analyst! |
ZACHIE: To ba je tereYeah danceable to someone on a wheelchair. |
funnyx: How do you mean? Those are not alujo bros. Those songs are easy listening! Go and listen to Sunny wella to understand alujo. |
HARDDON: schools are like la cram la pour? There are some prfessional certs where the integrity of their exams are still intact. |
Nice guy! helping women desperately seeking marriage in Nigeria. kudos bros. |
You guys don't even warn people about the graphic nature of the pics..Na wa o! |
funnyx: There are several 'alujo' tracks of Obey as well albeit not as much as Sunny, may be you've not listened to them.Do you know the meaning of Alujo? |
nnafather: I'm an Economist too; just concluded my MBA, heading for Msc(Economics) after chartering in a professional body (name withheld)which is on now. This is because of the nature of my Job...You know the nature of your career. Plan it around it. If you are interested in lecturing, proceed for your Masters.Waste of time and money. If you are in Nigeria, go for your MSc! If you are outside, choose a professional qualification that aligns with your career path. |
What kind of triplet is this? One looks like Tonto, the other looks like Yvonne Nelson, the last looks like nkiru Sylvanus. |
coogar: there's a right answer to it....If you are domiciled in Lagos and the Job is in Adamawa, would you accept the market rates for Adamawa? Tell them to make you an offer. Now, counter the offer with valid reasons/contraints that would make them bump it up to your desired level. It's all about haggling. But, if you are a recent graduate you don't need all the megedefegede...do your reasearch about the going rate for such position in that particular area. |

Seriously, there is no right or wrong answer for this. If an organisation doesn't pick you because you stated an amount, thank your stars cos that's a very useless establishment. The proper thing is to let the interviewer know your strengths, what you have achieved over time, what you can bring in terms of value added. State what you currently earn and tell them to make you an offer, if it matches your desired or projected earnings. You can take it from there! |
naijababe: Bros bawo?I dey o madam naijababe.. E ba mi ki iya olomo olomi shiri yami yami yami Olomi shiri ti o kun won loju njosi Lyrics so deep and danceable. That guy is a true King. |
naijababe: I think we all tend to dismiss Sunny's philosophical lyrics because they are often accompanied by up tempo beats, the immediate reaction to Sunny's music is to either dance or listen to his unique use of instruments to the detriment of an appreciation of his deep lyrics. I didn't appreciate Sunny's lyrical prowess until I was older myself, however, I always listened to Obey's lyrics because he's often telling stories which I found fascinating even as a child because his style is quite mellow in comparison. LPs like 'The Child', Merciful God, Conscience are just as deep as as philosophical as any Obey album.Bros you've said it all. Whilst Obey is one way traffic, KSA is multi dimesional. He is versatile! The messages and thankfulness in The Child, Merciful God and Conscience were delivered with skill. Another of his lines that gives me goose pimples everytime goes: Mo de o Baba mowa sope ore nla Baba gba mi lowo iku o ati omije E ba mi dupe f'lowa to ran mi lowo... |
Be 5 paces ahead of her. |
slimyem: This thread and the useless comments on it edifying one act above the other is an insult to both KSA and Chief Commander. There should be no basis for comparison.None is better than the other. Both their lyrics are rich in tradition, have depth and propagate culture. Both of them are septugenarians.Slimyem I like you so much for this comment..is it possible to nyansh you? |
No, I hang around falomo with friends till around 10PM and then drive to Sanusi Fafunwa and Ajose Adeogun to pick up night angels till daybreak. Then quickly dash home to shower and give the wifey some money before going back to work. |
shadrach77: i find it hard to believe that people would even dare to compare Obey with Sunny - even Obey himself knows that Sunny is better. To be nominated for Grammies twice, na beans? Sunny once starred in a foreign film - Stiggs and Friends or something, can't remember - KSA is known internationally and even performed as recently as last year at the Pre Olympics Music Festival in London. Ask any white man about Sunny and they'll know about him. Obey is not known beyond the shores of NigeiaObey turned to Pastor when he started singing rubbish like Ewa gbo melody |
KSA is light years ahead of Obey. Ewo oshodi oke to n mijiji elero amiji meji to nmi jolojolo |
You can't take NL serious these days. That's why it has been stagnant since 2005. Don't believe the 1m members. The actual number is about 2000. I know someone with about 600 monikers on this site. So, just come, look and go. |
He needs to give skales some money too. |
Another baby mama in the making. |
Tgirl4real: Heavenly child? Me? Am I really an angel?Yes Tosin ![]() |
Bros Afuye, why are you doing this to yourself? |
Katsumoto: Why are you hassling the young lady?I wasn't hassling her. Any member that comes up with "I'm new here, I've bben observing as a guest for a year before joining" is lying. |
You look like a mosquito that has scoliosis. |
shymexx: Hmmmm.... I dunno what's going on anymore....No idea o bro. Something just not right with her. |
shymexx: Just working... What are you up to?Shymexx, this girl is actually shymexxing you. |
