Esthered: Good evening fruitful Mamas here. I've treated PID twice (once this year) and was just diagnosed again of the same PID. I've been married for 10 months now and no show. I was supposed to see a gynaecologist but it's not covered in my health plan with my employer being that I'm not pregnant so I suspended that till I'm buoyant. Being that I know I have this issue for years now as it started as far back as boarding school, do I just respect myself and plan for IVF than to do series of test and taking drugs? I intend doing the necessary test on paper but deep down I'm contemplating IVF or surrogacy. I need advise. Please help. I don't mind being recommended to a good hospital around Ikeja axis. A comprehensive test is important and also ensure your hubby do his test also. People no longer wait for natural conception.if the resources is available please go ahead. IVF or surrogacy isn't a bad idea but be prepared emotionally. You could try herbal or see a gynecologist.above all pray.God is the giver of children |

RipVanWink: wow, good info you got there. am a big fan of cooling, stumbled upon it while researching on testosterone boosting since last yr, my balls increased in size a bit, my scrotum also , and my sperm parameters spiked, dw got preggy & delivered..would upload my result someday. was doing other stuff as well and taking supplements, so cannot pinpoint exactly if it was the cooling that did the trick . testicular cooling is also said to help in resolving variocle, however not much data on this Congratulations Sir. I have been looking forward to your success story. |

knightingale: So sorry sister. I also tested negative early this month. I cycled with Kingswill hospital. Our hope was really high because we are only having sperm issue which isn't that bad as well, the count is still in millions. I had other 3 cycle mates, the four of us got negative. I already read some non encouraging reviews about Kingswill here but we thought since all my tests are fine and I am still young, we should get a bfb (lol) Now I can smile, I cried for days still having pains in my eyes. Also because the hospital is close to our house, to reduce stress
I know there is no certainty with ivf but my overall experience there is not satisfying at all. They won't tell you anything, you won't even know the number of follicles they retrieved, the protocol you are on and so on. I got to know the number of matured embryos that we have when I was on the table waiting for transfer after I asked the doctor.
During retrieval, before the doctor knocked me out he said I had fantastic follicles (his exact words) Imagine my shock when they told me we only have one blastocyst during transfer (after I asked) I felt completely shattered. Hubby and I have deliberated severally before the day about transferring 3 or 4 blastocyst so we can have triplet (how funny)
This is just my experience with Kingswill, some mamas here cycled with them and got their bfb. They are still having lot of patients. If anyone plans to cycle with them, ask to be fully carried along at every point in time, do your research and always ask the right questions.
This journey isn't easy at all. We are planning to try natural again, got some supplements. Baby dust to us all. Soon we will get our bfb, we will carry to full term and deliver safely by God's grace In my opinion, the cycle would have been cancelled. You would have started again and paid for only the drugs. Anyway, its all in the past. It's the way forward. Don't feel too bad. I had 2 Ivf and Four IUI. Put God first and everything will fit in.dont give up |

I pray you testify very soon . Ask for review and try again either naturally or ART. You will carry your babies. No giving up. Hugs |

Luyi2015: Good afternoon mothers,Please i need some counsel at this point...my family is currently dealing with secondary infertility. we met a gynecologist last yr and after some test we discovered the tubes were no longer patent cos my wife had complications when we had our first child in 2015. We have opted for IVF, according to the embryologist..the embryo's fertilized very well...the transfer was done last Friday but unfortunately my wife started bleeding on Wednesday. Please has anyone encountered this? any advice you can give me? Thanks Report to the hospital. Give them a call . Strict bed rest. Continue with the progesterone intake. It is implantation bleeding. Once I noticed pinkish/brown blood. The second time it was bleeding .both I tested positive. It will stop on its own. |

@JaneCedars, how about balancing your hormones. although my own case was always high prolactin, so after taking dostinex everything usually falls inline.
Drugs to improve progesterones are cyclogest ( used through the vagina or anus)or progesterone injection or progesterone tablets.
It's better to see a fertility expert, they will help you ovulate then progesterone drugs to support pregnancy.
Some take routine drugs like fertile aid or vitamin e and folic acid or fh pro.please work with your doc.
Taking herbs won't do any harm like cinnamon and honey, bitters. Detoxifying your system , exercise, loosing weight if on the big side, loosing weight, doing water therapy won't hurt at least a month before seeing a doc.
PLEASE DONT TAKE OVULATION DRUGS WITHOUT PROPER MONITORING..
SUCCESS. |

Siraj20: Hello all, Very very new here, I'm not sure I'm posting this question in the appropriate place sef, pls I just had my embryo transfer yesterday, I had 2 transferred , grade of 4BC and 3BC. Please how good are these and what's the possible success for implantation ?
I had a severe OHSS situation from FSH stimulation but I have recovered now and got my frozen embryos transferred.
Any advise on what to do to aid implantation? I have been scared to leave the bed since yesterday.
Thanks sisters, God bless you all I also had severe OHSS. It could be very painful. Kpele. Some of the steps I took were Serious prayers ( I , myself and myself. Like 3 months before the procedure. The scriptures made me less tensed. Every night during the two weeks wait I woke up between 12am-3am to pray) I did some walk. Like 30- 60 minutes daily. Walk around the house I took pineapple (don't know if it was helpful) Ate all kinds of food but avoided pepper soup spices, potash and food containing lots of pepper Avoided talk on the phone for hours and searching the net Watched movies that made me laugh and series I liked like desperate housewives,Tudors etc Ate lots of avocado Had a atmosphere of praise and worship Avoided lifting heavy objects HAD MY BATH WITH WARM WATER ANOINTED MY TOMMY WITH MY ANOINTING OIL. Praised and praised and praised God Took lots of water and wore free clothes. TOOK MY PROGESTERONE DILIGENTLY. HAD SOMEONE DELIVER FOOD TO ME.HAD LOTS OF RELAXED MOMENTS. DIDN'T TAKE ANY DRUG OUTSIDE WHAT I WAS GIVEN AT THE HOSPITAL. ALSO AVOIDED DRIVING AND USING BIKE. NOTE: SOME PEOPLE DONT DO QUARTER YET THEY TESTIFY. I |

@ EngrSarah
Will it be possible doing it here in Nigeria. There are lots of good hospitals in Abuja and Lagos even Warri. Remember 60% of couples conceive on the first trial. Some may need to try again. Come down. Freeze some embryos. Regarding the semen, I know we had some crazy bad results . really bad but with good drugs, treating infection, eating right, exercise, prayers and good rest everything fell in line. Read backward. There was this drugs we were placed on FHPRO. suggest it to your Dr. But also build up the semen before any trial.
It's just a phase. Be positive and don't give up |
