I saw The Hunger Games and Wrath Of The Titans 3 weeks back. Hunger Games was good and the first part served as a good launch pad for the sequel. Wrath on the other hand was meh and felt totally unecessary, more like the studio execs and producers wanted to cash in on the decent and fairly successful Clash Of The Titans. And i also found the idea of gods "dying" ridiculous. Aren't they supposed to be immortals?

I'm currently serving (Ogun) and for the most part, it's a waste of time, not with the new idiotic policy put in place by the FG to put 90% of corpers whether you studied petroleum engineering, computer science or geology in schools to be teaching, and the rest in farms or ministry, and hospitals (for the medical doctors). If you have plans beforehand, it's best you manage your plans and time around your NYSC period to make the most of it. And if you're the happy-go-lucky, ah well. . . . .you might as well make new friends and all would be right in Teletubbie land *shrugs*

And it was 1 - nil to the Arsenal. Good to see the team grind out wins real ugly. Though one would appreciate landslide victories every now and then. And ah yes. . . Sp*rs nosediving and Shitty doing Shekpe in. . . absolutely splendid

X.O Senavoe was the most dissapointing of the entire lot. Mode 9 and MI were the only ones i felt spat and delivered anything worthy of note. Sauce kid needs to stop mumbling (same as XO and he needs to change that crappy irritating accent). Ice Prince and Naeto C. . . *sigh*, why couldn't they just invite mcs like 5mics, Pherowshuz. . .? They were not just it.

Personally, i didn't feel this year's BET cyphers. Even the much rated and overhyped Shady 2.0 cypher got boring after a while. don't get me wrong, they all came correct (particularly, Joe Budden), everything just had a boring[i]ness[/i] to it.

IMHO, the album is just decent, not "very good" and way far from a classic. Frankly, a good number of songs on his mixtapes (particularly The Come Up and Friday Night Lights) should have made the final cut and not fraggin' Lights Please. The album doesn't exactly grow on one, as his st(f)ans claim as they lack momentum and have this slow monotonous laid back feel to it, which gives the listener the impression he's listening to the same song like 5 times. Cole World lacks the same diversity you find in his two previous works, but J. Cole still manages to lift the drugged feel of the album with songs like Lost Ones, Never Told. Overall a decent first offering.

Seriously, why is nobody listening to Phonte's Charity Starts At Home and Evidence's Cats And Dogs? Two slept on sick albums, sicker than this here reviewed one? And not even Apathy's Honkey Kong? Shieeeet!
