Hope it won't give me withdrawal issues too? We all know what's happening to the likes of Luno right now. This better not be a fraud. |

SCHOOLDROPOUT: Hi, please I'm just registering online at https://enterfinland.fi/eServices. I have filled all that's necessary and gotten to the "Choose your service point and pay" part. On the Embassy site, they claim the residence permit fee for students, done via internet is N66 000. But with this exchange rate, won't that have increased, because I've had an experience with gtb and they claimed MasterCard have surcharges of their own. Do i still make the payment online? |

I have some questions. I'm filling the online form, currently. Do I fill both the online form and the physical one or just do one and send to them via email? The €6000 is critical and I may get a non-relative as a sponsor, as relatives/family are not forthcoming. Is it still advisable to use this sponsor? On the online form, am I required to make payment of €300 there or attach a slip of my payment from the bank? Thanks |

olabode89: Olabode, hi. I applied at the University of Tampere online. I intend applying at Helsinki as well. Please when sending my transcript to the respective schools, do I send them as different mails to UAF or do I have two enclosures with the University's stamp and all, on each and then one big folder to put the two seperate applications into? Do i also have to have copies of study certificates certified by an issuing institution or by a notary public? Would really appreciate feedback as soon as possible. |

omidan21: dahonestboss: Wait, I get an application number after applying online and then write it on my transcript? The UAF didn't specify any of this, neither did the Universities I want to apply to. 1 Like |

Good day everyone. I intend applying to two schools - University of Helsinki and University of Tampere. I have done my IELTS exams last month. Scored 7.5. I also went to my university to request my transcript be sent to UAF. My transcript and a copy of my certificate was attached in a folder and I was told it'd be processed and sent via DHL on Monday next week. I have some questions as I've read UH's Application Process, UAF's as well, University of Helsinki stated on their site that after registering with studyinfo.fi and paying for the application, "the service will direct you to the registration form of the University Admissions Finland application system. Print the application form and send together with the required application documents to the University Admissions Finland office.". What are the other required documents? Do I need to send this application form and the "other application documents" with my transcript or send them seperate of the transcript? Do I also need to attach my IELTS result to the transcript as well or send it seperately? Please I need information from those who are schooling in Finland, because the procedure from UH,UAF seems a bit confusing. |

It is a scam. I sent an email to Ifeanyi Obiora, the Supervisor of HR Operations at ExxonMobil and he and another colleague rightly confirmed that these people, "Eric Ajayi, Ogundimu, Agnes Adesina" were frauds and ExxonMobil were not currently recruiting but have folders for unsolicited applications. They are not authorized representatives of ExxonMobil or staff members. People please beware. 1 Like 1 Share |
Education / Re: Unbelievable Pictures Of Awori college Ojo Lagos by Wordsmith(m): 9:42am On Nov 20, 2014 |
I think people fail to ignore the fact that if the attention of the state government is not called to issues by the presiding LGA chairman, no renovation or overhaul would be done. Generally i rate LASG low in terms of education and infrastructure meant for schools, there are areas they are more prominent in, but definitely not this. During my NYSC year, I was posted to a school (not in Lagos though, Ogun), and I got to know some of machinations that occur in the public school setting - the SGs do provide funds to LGAs to disburse to schools within their wards, textbooks and other utilities needed. Some part of the rot starts with the LGA Chairmen, then councillors within wards who pocket much of the funds needed by schools. It took Amosun distributing textbooks rather than the money to buy these textbooks to schools before some of the situation was rectified. Even at that, some complained since money that was meant for the textbooks didn't trickle down their pockets. The rot is far more than we think. 1 Like |

For the game against Sp*rs, i reckon Podolski would start again. I sincerely wish Rosicky starts that match with Cazorla playing in the hole. And FFS, let the boy Gnabry get some playing time. |

The Bottled Leopard The Burning Grass by Crypian Ekwensi. Awesome book. definitely worth an adaptation Mallam Illiad's Passport. Another gem by Crypian Ekwensi Then there was this book i read about some investigative journalist that was drugged by some evil scheming politician and brainwashed and commanded to assasinate his twin. Something along that line. Can't remember the name or the author The Last Duty. Or something like that. About the Biafran war. Lovely book. Told in first person narrative from different characters. A book worth adapting to the big screen Igbo Irunmole (I dunno if this is the full name) |

Politics / Re: Residency Over Ethnicity - Where Will You Reside? by Wordsmith(m): 8:10am On Jan 18, 2013 |
What useless unity are people talking about? What unity has the unitary form of government fostered upon us or the balkanisation of Nigeria into states as we have it? Methinks, this is nothing but misplaced priority. What should be on the mind of everyone is PIB, State Police, semi-autonomy of LGAs not this dumbass State Of Residency. |

the 2012 Dragonage animated movie is anime, or should i say the art style is. Blood C is part of the Blood franchise. A spin off of Blood series In addition, has anyone see Karas the Revelation? Pretty violent and gory as well. |

wiegraf: I think FMA is a violent as it is disturbing. Particularly the latter parts, the violence towards the end both in the original and FMA: Brotherhood and even the OVA is worth noting. |
