@ Bamsyle,

co-sign on that shit you wrote up there. i also like the concept behind the My Skin Is Black song and Green Passport. May i also add that in the ongoing fray, mode9 groupies do more of the ember-fanning. i at least talk out of an observation over the years. go to any site that discusses Nigerian music and you'd see what i'm talking about.

Music/RadioRe: ''Ruggedman Should Go Back To The Studio And Reply Me'' by Wordsmith(m): 11:09pm On Feb 27, 2009
@ Bamsyle,

my bad if my previous post sounded way too personal. the aboki part about tha timbs was just a joke, an attempt at humor. that being said, being a neutral, one can't help at times but to lash at modo slaves and their incessant immature brattish ranting of how they hate rugged, blah blah, kill em all, yada yada yada. it can be frustrating when you are trying to keep a discussion clean.

if you'd recall from my post i did say concerning beef, i'm past that silly shit and javalove should be too. a point eLDee further buttressed in his post as well. Everyone grows the f*ck up and as the growth comes, perspectives, priorities change. if a man at the age of 40 could have rap beef as king in the list of his priorities, then really. . . . i don't know what to say, i mean shit is ridiculous to the friggin' ears.

frankly, i don't blame modo groupies. 98% of em fanboys have little or no responsibilities, don't put food on the table or shit like that, got no priorities whatsoever, are more or less teenage brats. if a man of 40 sucumbs to the pressure/whims of a bunch of teeny-boppers, what tells you of such an individual?

Bamsyle, El, the rest of the room. . . don't get me wrong, i'm not hating on the dude. i sincerely don't have time hating on the dude, but i'm of the opinion this beef is embarassingly stupid. rapjunkie once made a point and i quite agree with it. seemingly, the only song of relevance on Mode9's The Paradigm Shift is the Deathblow track. not because they are no other enjoyable tracks, but because Mode9 himself kills the enjoyability of that album with the undue emphasis on that beef induced DeathBlow.

Truth is folks, if people like him ain't sellin' shit, he shouldn't blame it on anybody, instead he should balme it on his inablility to sell records/move units. simply pathetic in my own opinion. i've had that album for months and it's already gathering dust. i bought M.I's CD about the same time and by the Guud Lawd i've been bumping that ish ever since. go figure. . . . .

By the way, my best Mode9 track is Contradiction and my best track on his new album is Spartan. song makes me wana punch somebody in the face. . . .
Music/RadioRe: ''Ruggedman Should Go Back To The Studio And Reply Me'' by Wordsmith(m): 11:19pm On Feb 26, 2009
Ok, it appears i have to reply a pseudo-HipHop head. some serious modo asskissin' the duke's been doing. . . .

Ruggedman is a fool and would never stop being one.
obviously, this goes way beyond rooting for an artiste. more like a personal vendetta albeit childish and immature. i can even say irrational to an extent. . .

Go back to the studio and do it the way its done!!!!

Else, dont talk about it, dont grant interviews on the beef, JUST GO PROVE YASLEF!!!!
. . . Not in all cases. Killa Cam has dissed Jigga in hundreds of tracks, Jay hasn't replied for the fact that he isn't worth it. Same thing with Fif and Weezy.

The Mode is armed with d 9, u v suddenly become lame!!!!!

To real hip hop heads . . .  to critics . . . . to unbiased minds . . . .  to lovers of truth . . . . Ruggedman is a failiure!!!!
Mode 9's armed with no 9, just a child's toy gun for his immature bickering. Roflmao and please don't bring in "Real hiphop heads" in this, you ain't one. you're better off appealing to beef hungry suckas. i'm past that silly shit. you should too.

~Sauron~:
Mode-9 has 300 pairs of sand brown Timbz.
He is the Nigerian version of REDMAN(Always on Timbz).
appears nuccas has only one pair. visits the nearest aboki for the nearest shining anytime there's some award cheesy tongue
PoliticsRe: CAN Wants Nigerians To Carry Arms (Religious Crisis) by Wordsmith(m): 10:46pm On Feb 26, 2009
*sigh*, typical Nigerian situation. we can all analyze issues, we can never create 'em. To those people that keep bringing up issues of drive-bys, tell that to the innocents slain in the next religious riot. As if there isn't anarchy already in the land. with or without guns, there has been and would still be violence. Little or non-availability of fire-arms didn't stop the Modakeke/Ife war, didn't stop riots plaguing the Northern regions. so far there was a weapon, it didn't stop the bloodshed from happening.

None here is in the thick of it, we can all stay in our hidey-holes shit-talking everyday, all day long about how much violence gun posession would bring when we are apt to forget this people have been pushed to the wall. this isn't just about the future, it is about safeguarding the present for the future and if firearms (however much i dislike it) help achieve that objective, then so be it.

Like X once said, "Guns don't kill people, people kill people". . .

Music/RadioRe: If You Like Mode 9 You Will Love 5 Mics by Wordsmith(m): 8:01pm On Feb 19, 2009
Usually, when i hear most mode9 groupie clowns (ignorant folks mostly) d*#kride mode9 and make stupid claims like mode does his only kind of music in naija, i'm usually amused at their ignorance. it can be embarassing and pathetic at times. mode9 does mostly battle rap and is known more as a punchline rapper. there are other cats who do what he does as well. 5 mics has been in the buildin' for some time now, same thing with pheroshuz, fishe, heck, KB inclusive . . . . like i've always said, the average mode9 clown's knowledge of hiphop started when he started listening to mode9.

mailmalc:
MULTI-SYLLABLE- Multis for short nd  i still don't know where u got the idea of Feminine and Masculine Rhymes as Multis from.
Let me start by analysin the rhymes here; Keep~of~dude and Reach~ur~doom and sit~ups~too/ if they don't sound similar to u then  lipsrsealed Dome and Zone rhymes perfectly but i wasn't have the intention of makin them the end/major rhymes. As for the Millitary stuff, wen u walk along a street (maybe only in Naija) and u see this sign "MILLITARY ZONE" the next thing u'll see is "KEEP OFF" simple as abc. The "sit up" was simply used as a physical word attributed to 'Exercise' brought about the 'mis-fit' thingy in dat very line  wink Rhymin goes way beyond the cook-took-book pattern, u could try sumfin like rude, mute e.t.c.

I am more concerned wit rhyming-right nd stayin on point rather than litterin ma barz wit rhymes dat reduces the effect of my punchlines.

The Forum seems deserted, where are all 'em netcess at!

My simple point: If you would accept the fact that MULTIS is the short form of MULTI-SYLLABLE then u should be able to identify 'em. Multis is not a word on it's own, it's just a simple abbrevation!
co-sign on that sh*t.

Other than that, i agree with Sauron on the final verdict, there has to be a round two. . .
