PoliticsRe: I Stand With Jonathan, Buhari Can Never Rule Nigeria – Fani-kayode by wordychap: 4:44pm On Dec 15, 2014
“All these and some people still say they want Buhari as President? A man who said, only last year, that ”an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the north”? A man who said, in 2001, that he wants to ”spread sharia throughout the federation”? A man who said, in 2001, that Muslims should only vote for Muslims”? A man who said, in 2001, that ”why should Christians be concerned when Muslims cut off their limbs under sharia”? A man who said, in 2001, that ”after all the limbs that are being cut off are Muslim ones and not Christians, so why should the Christians bother about it”?
“This is the man that some Nigerians are clamouring for to be their President?
PoliticsBuhari’s Emergence As APC Flag-bearer “a Fatal Error” – Presidency by wordychap(op): 4:37pm On Dec 15, 2014
The emergence of Muhammadu Buhari as the flag-bearer of the All Progressive Congress, APC, is a fatal error, the Nigerian presidency has said.
Speaking in an interview with Channels Television on Monday morning, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Doyin Okupe, said the opposition party made a grave mistake at a time Nigerians were clamouring for development and a dissociation from anything or anyone that has anything to do with the country’s past.
“When Major Buhari emerged as the APC flag bearer, I knew that was a fatal error,” he said. “It’s a fatal error because number one, Nigerians are looking for future development, you know, a disengagement from everything that has got to do with our past. You are looking at Major General Buhari, Babangida, Abdulsalam, Obasanjo. These are very respectable elders and leaders who have done their best but they are a phase of our leadership that is passing off.”
Mr. Okupe, a member of the ruling party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said the opposition could not be talking about change with someone who would remind Nigerians of their gloomy history.
He said it was important to note that Nigerians needed to make a clear decision between having a transformation agenda that had worked and produced results and one which, he said, did not have vision.
“For APC to have now brought, you know, part of our past history that we are not so proud of and then you are talking about change, you know, how can you make a change with somebody who was part of our problem?” he asked.
“We know that Nigerians are not stupid, you know, a clear decision will have to be taken between having an agenda – transformation agenda – that has worked, that has produced and having listened, you know, Buhari has spoken about three occasions – at his declaration, at his inauguration, I mean, at his primaries. I have asked people; nobody can remember anything that Buhari has said.
“There is no vision, you know. The only thing that has been told to us – not even by him but by other people – is that Buhari has integrity and he is honest and he is incorruptible which are also not true,” he said. “At the appropriate time, these issues will be taken up.”
He also said he was sure his boss, President Goodluck Jonathan, would defeat Mr. Buhari and win the 2015 general elections.
Mr. Buhari, a former Nigeria’s Military Head of State emerged the presidential candidate of the APC on December 10 following the party’s presidential primary election that also included a former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar; Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha; Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso and the publisher of Leadership Newspapers, Sam Nda-Isaiah.
Mr. Buhari will be contesting against Mr. Jonathan at the presidential election scheduled for February 14, 2015.

Fodr d southerners in d north you've heard d clarion call, return to d south during d election season, if GMB losses again, what happened in 2011 will b child's play compared to what you'll c.a word is enough for d wise.
And for d win or kill citizens, d blood of those that died in 2011 is still crying out n will hunt your generations to come -u may not rest in peace.
PoliticsRe: E-polls: Gej Vs Gmb by wordychap(op): 8:59am On Dec 15, 2014
The odds are against buhari,
GEJ polled 11 million votes from SE n SS geopolitical zones in d last election, he's not expected to do too badly here in 2015 say 9 million at worst.
SW, NE, NW gave him about 7.8 million votes, even if he manages 4 million from there that gives him 15 million.
The North Central will give him the win, that is if he wins there which he probably will, say he gets 2.5 million instead of d 3.1m he got in 2011, that keeps him at 17.5 million votes. That's 4.5 million short of his 22 millionmillion votes in 2011. Let's dash buhari d 4.5 million GEJ losses, it'll keep buhari at 16.5 million votes.
GEJ 17.5m
GMB 16.5m
Those who neither voted buhari or GEJ in d last election could vote either of d two this time.
Considering d state machinery at GEJ's disposal, ease of rigging by d ruling party supported by d force and tendency to stick with the incumbent, buhari doesn't stand d chance to topple Gej; he didn't even win as overwhemilingly as was expected in his party's delegate election.
Buhari will try but he'll not get there!
For those who think buhari is d change we so desire, well, so we thought when a PhD holder GEJ came with his slogan 'I had no shoe', he probably meant well for d country but d party didn't. Buhari's party members are what we detest of GEJ - corrupt, so thinking he'll fight corruption is a weird dream in this present democratic setting.
We need a change but GMB is not that change, he had his time some years ago n during Abacha's (of all people) regime.
Whatever GEJ has started I'll vote him to finish then assess n probably try another party who I'm sure are coming to get their their share of d loot.

I guess my next mission is to campaign for unemployment benefits for every unemployed Nigerian. By the time these thieves masquerading as leaders pay 50 million or more unemployed Nigerians about N20,000 each month, there will be no money to steal.
Secondly, these benefits will help boost the economy because these people will spend the money at the local economic levels thereby giving legs to our economy.

Good people, good afternoon. I really pray Buhari wins the primaries and from all indications I think he would. However, I have a challenge and that is the fact that I registered while I was serving in the north, but reside in Lagos permanently now. What arrangements have been made to ensure that thousands like me are not subtly disenfranchised. I would appreciate informed responses as this has been a serious source of concern for me.
You are not alone. Its either u go to where u registered n get your voters card or u r disenfranchised, infact, its a crime to register for another voters card in your new location.
That's a problem with the present inec process, wish they'll allow people to vote with the temporary voters card they initially issued.
