D best Nigeria can get is a draw. Lost confidence in d team |
brownlord: what time is the match?5:00pm Nigerian time |

They're more into cricket. They don't have d players, even Afganistan thrashed them in d Asian cup last year. They qualified once for FIFA world cup by default in 1950 but their football association could not send their team to play. Maybe its d stamina required for football that Indians lack. |
How many of these people are still alive? |
Can they afford it if we decide to play d match in US? |
5m a month to be paid as at when due, a car and a house in abuja, Keshi will sign or be jobless for a while. |
Nigeria have proposed to pay coach Stephen Keshi the same five million Naira monthly he received in his first contract because that is what they can afford. The contract will be for four years, officials told only AfricanFootball.com Some of the fringe benefits on the new contract proposed by the NFF are a car and a house in Abuja. "We don't want to offer what we cannot fulfil. We want to ensure that whatever we offer him is what we can conveniently pay him at the end of every month," A top NFF official told AfricanFootball.com "We want a departure from the past, where we owed Keshi up to six months. That is why we have painstakingly put the contract together so it is binding on both parties." Keshi’s intial contract of three years ended after the recent World Cup in Brazil. The NFF have announced Keshi is to sign a new contract as Nigeria coach “in a matter of days”. “Having finalised the fresh contract with Mr. Stephen Keshi, for him to continue as Head Coach of the Super Eagles, and having forwarded same to Mr. Keshi, the executive committee expects the new contract to be signed by the NFF and Mr. Keshi in a matter of days,” read an official statement after an NFF executive committee meeting in Abuja on Tuesday. Last week, Keshi was reported to have said he has yet to be contacted over a new contract with the Nigeria Football Federation. His first task on resumption will be a 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda in Calabar on September 6. tbaba1234: https://www.nairaland.com/1516409/iheanacho-ezeh-obasi-baba-nigerianThanks for d pic. Trying to spot kelechi though but these look 13/14? |
thegoodjoehunt3:I didn't specify d set the switch I witnessed was made. All's gud. I respect ur opinion n leave u with. Saw their pics, seriously I hardly see a 13 yr old these mature. |
thegoodjoehunt3: This is the bloodiest lie ever. What I'm telling u is d truth of what happened some years back, a colleague personally did d MRI scans, I'm not trying to underplay Nacho's talents, all I'm saying is he's OF AGE to play for d super eagles. Note that MRI scans to determine age checks for fusion/ossification of bones around d wrist ( mainly) which occurs within a certain age RANGE, its not so accurate n besides data used for comparism were generated from Caucasian research not Africans and most times there are differences in research findings between d whites n 'African' blacks race. This is my field bro, there're other regions that can be scanned to narrow down to greater accuracy d age of athletes but there's d argument of how ethically right MRI should be used for age determination in sports which stalls it. In Africans that I know of, many above 20 yr old do not have epiphyseal fusion whereas u can get d fusion in pple of lesser age in d western world's -diet and general wellbeing seems to play a part; they seem to mature earlier. The moral here is we should do more to desist from age grade cheat, it comes back to us some how. If Nigeria truly fields Under 17 players they'll really look so young; you'll see them in secondary schools mainly, I know doing this we may not do so well in this competitions but in d long run it'll pay us. Ghana used a purported U 22 team n almost took a nations cup, that was their TRUE national team. Let's give d young ones d chance n they'll perform. Nacho is of National team age. |
thegoodjoehunt3: How does that picture show Iheancho is Older than 17? You must be kidding. I am asking you, how does a 24 years old man play in an under 13 team? It is not true.If u can get me his pic when he was 'picked in 2008' as Under 13 of d 2009 batch I'll tell u how old he was then |
thegoodjoehunt3: Explain to me how a player of 27-30 years old beat the MRI scan?I probably know more about MRI scan BC I work with it. Believe this; MRI scans of younger boys were presented as d MRI scans of our under 17 boys in one of d sets I was involved in. Telling u inside info, d scans were conducted in a hospital at Abj( wouldn't disclose) - some of the reasons I so distrust our govt. age grade policies, they set this thing up n still break them to probably prove to d world they're honest. |
He's good n should be invited now, let's forget this waiting for maturity talk, these boys are men! |
thegoodjoehunt3: If Nacho is 27 years old, that means he was 23-24 years old playing in the NFF Under 13 in 2010-2011.Men I like Nacho more than u do but there's something we can't disprove, that Nigerians field over aged players in age grade football. Do some survey if u have d time, pick any U17 player n dig into his true age - primary schl etc. You'll b amazed at ur discovery. A friend played U 17 when he was 28 n he looked d youngest in that squad; not kidding. Besides, it was under 13 in 2009. Pic of 17 indeed

naijanoni: Like seriously ?.You look at iheanacho and say he is between 27-32 ?.Bros abeg make una dey use una common sense. Is that how 30yr olds look ?.I havent seen a 30 yr old man that is as physically immature as iheanacho.Personally know some athletes within that age range with same physical build and they're Nigerians! |
naijanoni: Get ur facts right.Besides, Nacho's real age is BTW 27-32, he doesn't v too many football yrs left! |
koboko69: I thought NAFDAC said they will arrest anybody that claims to have the cure for EBOLA. When are they sending the police to Ikotun?Better to try a purpoted cure than do nothing |
TB Joshua The fight against deadly Ebola has taken an interesting twist with Senior Pastor of the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Nigeria guaranteeing 2,000 bottles of his ‘anointed water’ to fight the disease. “Not only that. If they [countries worst hit by the virus] invite me in the capacity of government, I will not only send the anointing water, I will carry anointing water myself to the country”, Prophet TB Joshua said amid cheers and applause from his congregation. The renowned Nigerian ‘Man of God’, as he is called by his 10,000 members of his church made the startling announcement during last Sunday’s church service of the Synagogue Church of All Nations. According to Prophet T.B Joshua, he prophesied earlier this year that there would be an outbreak of a deadly disease and his special water could help fight the disease. Prophet T.B. Joshua’s anointing water is famous among both his congregants and other believers In May last year, four people died during a scramble for the miracle working water at the Ghana branch of the church, located at Spintex in Accra. “We are praying for the whole world. But one of the major issue is this Ebola issue”, he said. T.B. Joshua’s assessment of the renewed outbreak of the Ebola scourge is spot on. A total of 932 people have died since March in Sierra Leone, Guinea, Liberia and Nigeria, with 1,711 confirmed cases since the beginning of the year. There have been global outcry for the adoption of a serum, ZMapp, used to cure two infected Americans to fight the disease in West Africa, where it is worst hit. But President Obama said on Wednesday it was too soon to send the experimental drugs for the treatment of Ebola in the sub-region. Ebola is spread through direct contact with the bodily fluids of an infected person. Symptoms include fever, muscle aches, red eyes, diarrhea, vomiting and bleeding.
