denniece1: What if they lose when trying to draw? Even if we lose with a 2 goal margin, provided Germany win their last group match against Honduras which they most likely will, we qualify as best losers avoiding Germany. |

Emmzyst: If Nigeria want to avoid Germany, is simple: just draw ur last match, u still qualify. Even if we lose with a 2 goal margin, provided Germany win their last group match against Honduras which they most likely will, we qualify as best losers avoiding Germany. In 3rd place we play Ukraine or Serbia n both teams are not as strong as d German teams in this competition, so am at ease watching our last match. |

mackfame: For those clamouring for a draw, yes it will be nice to avoid Germany but i doubt Manu will come out for draw because he wants to win every match in this tournament. More so a strategy to have a draw can affect us (what if Hungary pulls a last min shocker and we lose?). I say we come all out for a win and at worse settle for a draw. Even if wee lose, mathematically we've qualified with d 3 points. |

BascoVanVeli: How can u say football is not about mathematics then say we should not want to play Germany? I would think being that football is played on the field not paper you would be confident in this team or have u not watched them play before the world cup? They can beat any team in the world so why be scared of Germany i say we get them now before they gain further momentum. Leave mouth, any day anytime we meet Germany in this competition, we'll pack our luggages home |

linked: But the report had 11 players for the probables Just my guess, other possibility is a starting 11 against 11 weak side of 2 keepers (1 bc defender) n a coaching staff |
Sports › Re: Flying Eagles of Nigeria Thread: U-20 World Cup (New Zealand 2015) by wordychap: 3:58pm On May 30, 2015 |
femi9naija: But wait o, shebi it's 21 players that made the team? So if 11 players play for "team possible" leaving 10 for the probables. shey na 11 against 10 ni abi na Ugbade complete the 11? My guess is 10 a side, remember there are 3 keepers so 1 goal keeper is out of d match. |
