Apart from sin, there are other factors that can hinder prayers. These factors include:

✓Loving God with all your heart: You need to come to level where you tell God, "if I perish I perish." God has to see that you truly love him with all your heart.(Mark 12:30, 1Corinthians 15:19)

✓Unwavering faith: Ensure you do not doubt him in anyway.

✓Accepting the thought of Satan as yours:
2 Corinthians 10: 5 make us to understand that Satan works on our imagination. Sometimes, he reminds you of your sins. Sometimes, he makes you to see God as one doesn't care or incapable. When such thought comes speak life to yourself. Search for scriptures that speaks against such thought, say it out, believe it and reject Satan's thought.

✓The Refining Process: Oh, how I love this scripture "Isaiah 43 : 2"! I can remember vividly, when I was in a very difficult situation, this verse gave me strength. It gave me assurance that God is with me, so I had zero fear.
Sometimes, God allows us to go through difficult moments because he want to work on us; either to add something or remove something. Trust me, if you can be patient, you will glad you went that process.

I once prayed for an issue for 13 years of my life and then one day God opened my eyes to the reason for the problem. So this time I wasn't praying about the problem; rather I I went to the root of it, and fixed it . Problem solved. So may be while you pray, ask for light/ understanding.

God is merciful. The Bible says with thy mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10: 10). He forgives only when you acknowledge and confess you sins and accept Jesus as you Lord and saviour (Romans 10:9-10)

Revelation 3:20 Says, "Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in quickly and sup with him and he with me.

He is always willing to forgive only when you let him in by confessing your sins (He wants to hear you say it) and accepting Jesus as your Lord and saviour.

There is no such thing as not "praying according to the Will of God" since Jesus Christ Himself said, "ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER YOU ASK .... YOU SHALL RECEIVE". Also, Jesus Christ made clear that the Will of God refers to God's Law — His teachings and commandments as given by Jesus Christ — and the statement above is a part of God's Law.

Ask the holy spirit for guide. For me I used to wake up for no reason at some minutes past 1 everyday. One day i woke up to something very strange in my body. Then I heard a voice from within, this is what I was trying to protect you from.

Since then, my personal time with God changed from 12 midnight to 3:00am. As the spirit leads though, I can exceed 3 hours or use less .

This is how you know folks who have absolutely no clue of what they are talking about. The God of Israel never re-wrote the destinies of any man. To the people of Israel, He was a King who condemned those of His people who disobeyed His Law. He never rewrote destinies or anything. He cursed those who rejected Him from among His people and blessed those who obeyed Him. There was no rewriting of destinies going on with Him since He rewarded each man according to the works of His hands.

I want to believe that some people are in jail for an offence they never committed. They fight for their destinies by geting lawyers.

Do you know the story of Elisha, when he caused some children who mocked him and the children died (2 Kings: 23-24). And you don't think such powers still exist that can change ones fate?

Stephen was captured. There is no where it was recorded that prayers was made for him. He died.

Peter was captured. And prayers was made fervently and the angel of the Lord's came and set him free (Act 12:5-17). Do you still think ones fate can't be changed through prayers?

When Satan and his angels left heaven, there is no where it was recorded that their powers were collected.

John 10:10 says the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy.

1Thessalonians 5:2 says "The Lord shall come like a thief in the night." He probably chose this time to catch some evil men in the act.

The night is an interesting time when we retire to rest but the devil uses this opportunity to afflict children of God.

Wake up and pray your way out between 12am and 5am. 2 to 3 hours of your midnight with Bible scriptures will do the job. You can do this.

Thessalonians 5: 6 says, " Therefore, let us not sleep as others do; but let us watch and be sober.
