The Scars in the lives of true believers is something that gives room for unbelievers to mock them because they lack understanding. In the life of every genuine believer, a time comes when God Almighty permits a scar in his life. He does this not out of wickedness, but to save them from pride which would end up becoming an entrance of devil into their lives. They may end up in hell if care is not taken.

The Bible says that the blessing of God makes one rich and adds no sorrow. When he chooses a man to bless, he blesses him abundantly, such that he becomes the light of the world just as it is written in the Book of Matthew 5:14. That man will be so blessed that he can not be hidden. Verse 16 of Matthew Chapter 5 says, " Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven." The blessing I talk about is not just in the aspect of finance, it can be anything one is very good at. This blessing acts like a magnet that attracts men to you.

Unfortunately, many get carried away due to the attention and honour they get from this blessing; they forget that all they are and all they have came from God Almighty. They become so proud and glorify themselves. Some have abandoned God completely and went after strange god's, just like King Solomon. King Solomon forgot the God that blessed him and went after other gods. This act of his, God abhors. This is one of the reason God Almighty allows scars in the life of a believer. This is important because it makes that individual to always depend on his maker (God Almighty).

Apostle Paul said that three times he prayed to God remove the thorn in his flesh, but God's response was, " My grace is sufficient for you; for my strength is made perfect in your weakness." You can imagine the great Apostle Paul, whom the handkerchiefs and aprons from his body was used to heal the sick. Yet, he could not heal himself. This situation is a humbling one that helps us to realise that all we do, is by his grace and all we have, he has given to us freely.

Jeremiah 33:3 says, "Call upon me and I will answer you; and I will show you great and mighty things you know not."

The answer to question is to simply ask for his presence in the name of Jesus. Tell him that you want see, feel and hear him. When he comes around you will know.

Christianity is not what have read from the Bible or what we have had from preachers; rather it is an encounter with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit plays a significant role in revealing Jesus to us; He makes everything real. Christianity is an encounter with Holy Spirit and the God Almighty through Jesus Christ.

It's normal for anyone to feel the way you feel because they have never had an encounter or revelation. This explains Apostle Paul's anger before he had an encounter with Jesus Christ on his way to Damascus. This singular experience changed his perspective about Christians.

God indeed is merciful, some day he will reveal to you the understanding you need concerning how he works through the Holy Spirit.

The Church at Corinth according the Book of Corinthians was a church filled with contention even though they claimed to be followers of Christ; they acted like they were divided. I won't be able to discuss all of their unacceptable behaviours at the moment; rather I will focus on an aspect I encountered and partook in for six years.

I used to be a member of a certain church for six years but left. I did not leave because I had issues with them; I loved this church because of how righteousness is enforced. I have always loved to be were holiness is preached. Two years after I had left that church, I had a dream where I overcame hindrances of which this church happens to be one of them. Prior to the time left, my uncle who was also a member of this church left the church and had an encounter in the dream as well. I can't discuss this dream but it might interest to know that it did not speak well of the church either. This dreams lead me to asking God what exactly is wrong with this church, because personally I do not see anything wrong with the way they do their things. I waited for response from God and got an answer a year later. Honestly, I had already forgotten I made a request for such.

God's response made so much emphasis on 1 Corinthians 1:12-13. In this chapter and verses, Apostle Paul was mad at the members of the church at Corinth because they did not exalt Jesus Christ in their achievements; rather they praised Paul, Apollos and Cephas. There were groups who claimed to belong to Paul, therefore they felt they were better than the rest. A group said they were of Apollos, another said they were of Cephas and a few said they were of Christ. I do not know the reason for this division among the Christians at the church at Corinth. It could be based on who preached and baptised them. No matter what the case may be, every Christian should always give glory to Jesus and not man.

Let's assume that the name church where I used to attend is called Love Church and the name of the pastor is Romano Attitude. While I was there, so many times when they pray or give testimonies, you will here things like "the God of Love Church did this or I want to thank the God of my pastor Romano Attitude for ...." Even the songs they sing were customized to reflect the name of the church or the name of the pastor, rather than the name of Jesus Christ. You could hear songs like:

1)The God of Love Church answers prayers,
The God of Love Church answers prayers....

2) The God of Love Church you are so good.....
The God of Romano you are good....

The spirit of God made emphasis that they are hiding Jesus Christ whom they are supposed to make known to unbelievers. Unknown to them, they exalt and advertise the name of their church and the name of their pastor. Thus confusing and misdirecting those who are seeking for the truth.

They have this mentality that the miracle God does through the church and Thier pastor can be not achieved any other place. They have this mindset that they are the only one who are serving God right. Therefore, are the only one who are qualified to make heaven. This was Prophet Elijah thought about himself until God corrected him. God revealed to him that there were other prophets who had not sinned (1 Kings 19:14-18, Romans 11: 2-4). Hebrew 13:8 describes Jesus as the same yesterday, today and forever. Therefore, that same God who reserved prophets who did not sin in time of Prophet Elijah still has other great men of God who glorify Jesus in every thing they do (Romans 11: 5).

The Holy Spirit went on to explain that there may great miracles still going on there because of God's mercy but a time will come when God will withdraw His mercy and allow the antichrist to take over them.

He that has an ear let him hear.

We all have our past. The question is, has she truly changed? If she has and she gives you peace of mind, why not? You don't judge a book by it's cover.

You may want to talk to her about it; investigate or watch her closely before you take your final leap.

In summary:
You can't judge a book by it's cover.

Look before you leap because you can't take a pig away from the mud.

I can relate with you. One thing I will say to you is that, you shouldn't be nice to people because they were good to you; but because it is the right thing to do.

It lifts burden off your mind, makes you happier and a better person

Have you considered the story of Saul who became Apostle Paul? (Act 9). He chose his path, yet God saved him by the multitude of his tender mercy (Psalm51:1)

Abba Father is long-suffering to human and is not willing that any should perish. (2Peter 3:9)

Abba Father seeks for those who will intercede for this people who have chosen the wrong path (Ezekiel 22:30).

You should intercede for them (Matthew 5:44), as an act of love and not judge them (Matthew 1:7).

What happens to preaching about the mercy of God.

Why make it look like God isn't merciful if we confess with our mouth unto salvation; that is, if we acknowledge our sins (Roman 10:10)

Abba Father will have mercy on whoever he wishes to show mercy (Romans 9:15); because he is the potter and we are the clay.

The blood of Jesus cleans all manner of sin, without exceptions ( Ephesians 1:7)

Stop behaving like you know it all, least you find yourself in hell (1 Corinthians 10:12). So seek the face of God daily to know if your are standing. Remember not all that calls the name of God shall be saved.

So watch out for yourself.

Pray for sinners.
Show love to them.
They know about hell;
Let them know about the mercy of God.

He prayed so much that day like he never did. Then, he heard a voice. "Why should your father live?" Said the voice. The pastor searched his mind, all the reasons he could come up with were selfish. " I just graduated, he should reap the fruit of his labour, he is too young to die, he has a wife etc." He said, if had known God the way he knows God now, he would had came up with better reasons and his father would have lived.

So many of us only pray fervently, when we are desperate for something. And when God answers your prayer, your prayer altar goes down like it never existed till you get into trouble again. God who searches the heart of men, who knows the end from the beginning, knows what you are capable of doing when he blesses you, so the reason for the delayed answers to prayers.

Isaiah 1:18a says, "Come let us reason together." Isaiah 43:26 says, ,"Put me to remembrance, let us plead together. Declare now, that you may be justified."

Why should God answer your prayers? What does he stand to gain from the child, house, money, promotions, business, sound health, husband, wife, power, influence etc, when he gives it to you? OR do you intend running away?


Come up with a scripture, on the reason he should bless you.
