safarigirl: i am complaining of the process and nobody from the serious side will ever contest because the process is flawed.
When something is flawed from the process, people will complain until it is made free and fair. You do not have the right to tell people not to complain.
If you want to sit by and do nothing, it's your business, after all, it is a commom Nigerian habit to sit by and watch nonsense, but don't tell others how to react. That is not your right, if you don't like what I am saying, you can also walk away and wait for someone to tag you to vote any dull, funny-looking soul. Should I contest for miss Nairaland? I really need the money. What's the chance that a bearded girl would win? |

Lionessza: No there aren't. The countries you will find in the corporate sector are from SADC. Legitimate Nigerians work as teachers and consultants to government aka playing middle man between our government and their citizens here. There are also their doctors , the rest no one knows what it is they are doing here..
Wait .....
We all know
Indians, Malaysians, Ghanaians, the brits and others all told us I see. I am not sure if I'd go the legit or the hustler's route when I come over. I guess I'll make up my mind when I get there. So if one of them Naija doctors were to approach a Southy working class babe she'd say No? |

mk82, thanks for this wonderful thread that you've created. It's a whole University degree we've got right here. I want to contract writers on fiverr to write my books. How do you do it? Do you break it into topics and give them to write or you just outrightly give them the whole ebook subject for them to develop on their own. I want to start with 150k. I'm wondering how many books that amount could get me. |

delishpot: Good luck finding her bro. If she is any wiser she would demand you respect and honour her more than you do your mom in return. If you two can work on the same page, then it's all good. Respect in marriage is good but a husband deserves his respect and so does the girls father deserve his. Only naive people go into power struggle with their spouses family. She was not picked from the gutter, her father spent as much time loving and caring for her as yours did for you. No man or woman should ask you to respect them above your parents likewise it makes no sense to demand such from others unless you are rilling and lording over them by force. Her dad is her dad and deserves his respect and honour in that respect, her husband is her husband and deserves the honour and respect to that effect. When a man starts demanding and claiming more important than a woman's family, it is a red flag in my opinion. Trouble ahead with a brute. I did not know I was talking with a woman. Let's not derail the thread. |
Family › Re: Parents Gone Wild: Bleaching Children's Skin by WORLDPEACE(m): 8:51am On Aug 19, 2017 |
delishpot: What fuckery is that? To respect him like she respects her father, are fathers of daughters that useless in the society? That a man would demand she respect him like she resoects her father? Not even to respect his father as she respects her's. Do you respect your woman like you respect your mother? I would have overlooked it if you had said love him as you love your father. Actually, if I am married to her, I'd expect much more respect from her than she gives her father. I'm talking within the context of marriage. Love is useless to me as a man. Respect is what I understand. |

purples25: What do you expect when Nigerians especially the men unashamedly keep worshipping fair people mostly fair girls, like alpha gods or angels. Everybody wants what's good now. You want the craze to stop ? Stop acting like those people are the main jewels of this life or the f***ing chosen ones of God Just say you are looking for justification for your bleaching. How come of all the things Nigerian men wish their women gave them it is bleaching you can give. Let me give you a list of things to do for Nigerian men before you bleach your skin: 1. Be an independent lady who can take care of her own needs. 2. Date a Nigerian man who is broker than you. 3. Respect him like your father. 4. Bleep his brains out when he asks for it. 5. When you marry him love his parents and siblings the way you love yours. 6. Give to him without looking down on him or expecting anything in return like Jesus said you should. 7. Be respectful to everyone you meet so that you can attract nothing but positivity to him. When you have done the above successfully you may go ahead and bleach your skin till what you have left is just your skeleton. If you find bleaching easier to do than these things listed it means YOU think fair skin is more beautiful and you did it for yourself not any Nigerian man. |

1Sharon: Lol you sure you don't think she's too dark? Cos alot of Nigerians will not see her beauty because they are biased against dark skin
I really feel for very dark people If a lot of Nigerians are biased against dark skin that means more than 75% of the population don't like their own colour. I think you are telling Nigerians what they should like. The yellow skin lovers are just louder. I am a dark skinned person and I have never had a problem with my skin colour. |

Bleaching is not always harmful, doctors even prescribe hydroquinone. But applying those creams on a newborn, I don't think is right.
I wonder why woman that relax their daughters hair don't get much heat?
Nigeria is not a country that appreciates dark skin. Someone here called the woman on my profile a black demon.
This is all a charade. Nigerians don't appreciate dark skin? YOU and your type don't appreciate dark skin. We are mostly a dark skinned people. Keep gathering all the excuses you need to justify your bleaching. |
