alfonso36: Please how much is Required before one could get admission into USA colleges. And what are the steps to take, documents and other requirements.? Please A brother should help himself by reading back through the USA student thread. https://www.nairaland.com/1869186/general-u.s.a-student-visa-enquiries-part/337 Many, many questions answered there. Then a brother could search with Google for school prices and admission requirements.
Be aware that community college can be reason for visa refusal, look for university. |

hackerd: However, we noticed that his old passport ( the one that contained a 6 month visa and two 2 year visa, all expired) was not returned. If the visas are expired, why are you so desparate to get the passport back? Something does not add up here in the story.
You will have to question officials at Nigerian authorities to see if it can be returned. Rember if UKBA have said that fraud is involved then Nigerian police could become involved when you go to collect the passport, are you ready for that? |

hackerd: Good afternoon @justwise, My brother was refused visa and was told he has limited right to appeal. He was given ten years ban because the date of arrival stamped here in MM airport is different from the official date recorded by the commission. However, we noticed that his old passport ( the one that contained a 6 month visa and two 2 year visa, all expired) was not returned. Only the renewed passport was returned. Here is my question, Do they have the right to withhold the passport. Thanks They have the right to hold any documents that they consider to be part of a fraud. What often happens is that the documents will be returned to Nigerian authorities for them to take further action. However at this stage many documents seem to get lost and can no longer be traced. |

What is the distance of this place too Joong-ku, do have idea of places person can apply for asylum . Countries like this have no time for so called asylum seekers. Some countries will send you home but in many asian countries they will throw you into jail untill you can pay fine and fare to return home. Think about being the only black face in an overcrouded and brutal prison where you do not speak a word of the language. |

standupguy: It's for a Canadian student visa, and yes I graduated in 2010, worked as a trainee in and I.T firm, served 2012-2013, then join my siblings company where I am a logistics person who supervises import and distribution of goods. The said sibling was the co sponsor and provided a letter of employment and introduction. While the main sponsor is a senior banking official with a pay of 7.5m annually. Both sponsors had an account balance well above 10M.
I have resolved to add my stock portfolio which isn't much since the crash of shares and my salary account and a fixed deposit of 2.2m I made since Sep. 2014 prior my second application. I wish to re-apply in June. I would appreciate any more advice. Thank you and God bless. They probably question why these people would offer to sponsor you with so much money. |

Teacup: Hello Guys, which country in Europe will you prefer to go if you have the Opportunity and state good reason for your choice. As for me I prefer Finland and I am already working towards it The reason being that racism is rare in Finland Do some research before issuing ideas.Racism in Finland From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A 2011 poll shows that 66% of Finnish respondents considered Finland to be a racist country but only 14% admitted to being racists themselves.[1] Minority groups getting the most negative attitudes were Finnish Kale, Somalis and Muslims.
In December 2012 the Finnish Police reported an increase in cases of racism and related physical abuse.[2] In February 2013 researchers of racism and multiculturalism reported an increase in amount of threats and abuse.[3] In January 2013 Save the Children reported that immigrant children are facing an increasing amount of racist abuse.[4] In June 2011 a researcher reported an increase in amount of racist violence targeting children and teenagers.[5] |

rushino: Pls to others, I have a questions, if one has two options: either apply for student visa or tier4 dependant visa, which would you recommend? why? Also what documents? Thanks very much Does not really make sense If you are student (going to school) then Student visa. If you are trying to join husband / wife then dependant.
Very different things. What are you trying to do? |
