Hello Justwise/Vicjustice,
Please could you give me links to topics on this forum where the issue of UK/USA work permits have been discussed?
I have tried searching but it returned quite irrelevant results. I'll appreciate it...thanks.
There is no such thing in the UK as a "Work Permit."

If you come in as a student then you can work up to 20 hours while studying.
To come to the UK for full time work
You must either qualify for permanent residency, by birth or family connections.
Or you must be a highly skilled specialist, employed by a UK company, who will then sponsor your visa.

All the information is on the UKBA websites.

Can somebody enlighten us more about the process and best place to applying for Japanese employment visa here in Nigeria. including the cost and documents needed for the visas.
What employment do you think that you can get in Japan?
Or do you think that you will hussle?
Do you speak, read and write Japanese?
What skill do you have that the Japanese need?
As a black African all you will do is stand out to be a curiosity to people everywhere you go.

I need your advice here please, the working conditions on my biometric card (visa) is stated incorrectly as 10 hours per week instead of 20 hours during term time.
I really need your advice on this situation please....
Thank you.
What are you doing (studying) in the UK?
10 hour limit is for courses BELOW degree level.

Thanks but let me worry about that all I need is connection on anyone who is specialized in my demand, don't want to have to go through process and procedures to get it cheers
Ok use a THIEF agent to get you through without process.
Just don't come back here with "someone should help a brother"
When THIEF agent steals your money and leaves you stranded.

Please be very sure that you are not being used just to gain access to the UK!
I know that YOU are in love but he is back in Nigeria (after fraud) and is desparate.
Beware that he is not just telling you what you want to hear.
You seem to be frantic and that is how you will fall into the hands of touts, thieves and agents.

Be very sure! Do you have any friends back home that can check up on him secretly for you?
Is he going to clubs and seeing other girls while you are spending money on him?

hello house thanks your wonderful contribution as its had always been an eye opener especially to Just wise and Spike C.
My question goes thus: I have an admission already and had even paid my fees but encountered some challenges which were unexpected when it came to providing my statement for proof of maintenance funds.
My agent says its possible for him to help fund an account for me through links in the bank, however the account would be in my name but won't be mine as they would just open it using my name and lodge funds into it or the second option would be to give Me a statement that bears my surname and that would act as my father's statement.
I really doubted theses processes that were shown me as options and that's why am presenting to the house for your advices which has been a blessing to many.
thanks
This is a sure way to end up BANNED for fraud.
The THIEF agent will still take your money!
The visa officials will have seen hundreds of these scams and be ready to recognise them.
Your best action is to run away from that THIEF agent and process the application yourself.
At worst you will be rejected with a clean record.
Stay with that THIEF agent and you will end up with a ban that will affect your chances for almost any good country.
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Armed Drone Crash Lands In Dumge, Borno State, Nigeria [PICTURES] by worry359(m): 7:57am On Jan 28, 2015
Look at the facts.
It is a pakistani UAV (drone)
Pakistan is a MUSLIM country where anyone (Muslim) can buy weapons.

Q.E.D. Whoever operated this drone was a Muslim.
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Armed Drone Crash Lands In Dumge, Borno State, Nigeria [PICTURES] by worry359(m): 9:16pm On Jan 27, 2015
The picture shows a Pakistani "Burraq" UAV.
As for where it was taken and when that is for people to decide!

A Muslim country!

This is what it looked like.
The curved legs are very distinctive!
NOT an American Predator!

How about finding some cheapest universities in Uk ? I found this http://internationalstudentsguide.org/8-cheapest-universities-united-kingdom-international-students/ do you guys know any more ?
Cheap school usually means poor education
and a certificate that is only any good for wiping your bottom with!

You must FIRST check that any school is on the UK list of sponsors and not banned.
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/398423/Tier_4_Register_of_Sponsors_2015-01-27.pdf

Then try to find out if anyone from there ever got a decent job.

paragraph 320 (7A) carries a ten year ban.
So he needs to contact the UKBA and find out if he does have a ban.
If there is a ban it will make everything much more difficult.

Check this first

Oga justwise, I'm back with another question I hope you can help me out, there's little cash flow in my company account because I don't save my sales money in the bank, I use the sales money to purchase another stocks, but like I said here i use to save 150k or more monthly in my personal saving, what do you think I will do here please. I can include the receipts of my stock purchases if needed.
No stock purchased does not represent funds avaliable for your trip.
Do you have sufficient funds in your personal account to cover your trip without stripping out everything?

President Jonathan To Buy New Executive Jet

This is his contribution, while people starve.

President Goodluck Jonathan wants to ride yet another new aircraft, and he has asked the National Assembly to approve the purchase. The request is part of the 2015 budget presented to the National Assembly in Abuja last week by the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

Well the notice is for the previous occupant...but as regards to your case....if you don't have TV then you don't watch one, trying to ask somebody to pay tv license because the person watches some clips on laptop is just crazy and way out of order. They need to break-in to catch you watching tv on your laptop first before asking you to pay jack.
Sorry but you are wrong.
They do not have to "break in"
They will just send a court summons to fine you. It's then up to you to defend it in court. (big cost) even if innocent.
They have lots of power!

Please experienced gurus !
I cald the school I'm applying to, told them about my GRE score nd they told me that they don't have any specific score requirement. My question is this; if the score is okay by the school. Do I stand any chance of getting any form of assistance? Though I ve not written Toefl, I hope toefl score also counts. Thanks.
Scholarship is normally given to exceptional top students, not just "OKAY".
But you will only find out by asking your school.

No one here has a definate answer.

Yea...i've been advised not to. But that peppersoup spice and knorr cubes dey tempt me to carry sha!
Up to you
But Australia are very strict on food importation.
If you do take things keep a list and when asked TELL THEM.
The worst then is that they will confiscate the foods.

If you hide things and lie then big wahalla and spot fine.
They use sniffer dogs to check bags without opening them.
Good afternoon all,
I just received a mail notifying the occupants of my flat of not paying for TV license after several warnings.

These are generated and followed up by computers.
It is almost impossible to convince them that no one in your house watches TV or streams video. (especially if it's young people.)
There will be a phone number where you can contact them but it is just like talking to a robot!

You can try to convince them but it will be very very difficult.
You may well get a visit which can be at any time even on weekends when they will try to catch you out.
(They do have right of entry, if you do not let them in they will issue a court summons.)

Sorry it's bad news but this is one of the pleasures of living in the UK.

I read that somewhere about 5yrs ago, not sure if they have stopped it now.
It looks like (on Google) they had riots in 2011 in Manchester with renewals.
No mention now only London
TravelRe: Renewal Of Nigeria Passport , UK by worry359(m): 10:34am On Jan 24, 2015
You can return home (to Nigeria) with the expired passport
BUT!!!
You would need an emergency travel document to pass customs and board the plane in the UK.
So probably just as easy to get passport.
