It's actually 'Igbekere' and it's native to Odogbolu, though it's now called 'Ipekere' just as we have now added 'k' to 'Ponmo' and 'h' to 'tatase' and removed 'n' from moin-moin. Anyways, Yoruba are blessed with words in our language, we even have 2 to 3 different words for same thing while some people don't have even 1 and have to burrow and then pretend to forget it's not theirs. Examples are Old / New / English Aya / Iyawo /wife Baale / Oko / husband Oole / moin-moin/ bean soufle Iye / Iya/ mama / mom Iba / baba / father Ipeku / apoti/ box seat Ile iwe / ile eko / school Orisun / ibere / beginning Sun / ke / cry Bo / de / arrive Eke / iro / lie Ooyo / ewedu / jute Odukun / anamo / sweet potato Omu / Oyan/ breast Inu / Ikun / stomach Oka / Agbado / corn Ewu / Aso / Clothes Iwogbe / Jigi / Mirror baby124: |

Slobbering basttard, then how does the matter concern you? khiaa: |
Certainly, but same can't be said about you. chichar1: |
Which church was he in, former CCIC Odorkor? Mosesm: |
Nigeria has never been a nation and we welcome it's end, out of its ashes will 5 real nations rise to fulfill their destinies. |
Trinity international university? Never heard of that. Ok, one of those schools without accreditations, a 2 bedrm apartment size university you can donate $1,000 to and get a honorary degree. |
Where is the hot air? |
Does the picture I posted look like McClure girl? That's Akuyili's daughter at her wedding. For the last time, go and check the picture of Akiyili's (i already posted that) and Ngozi Okonjo Iweala's daughters, both married to white men and see what ugly is, stop acting dumb around here. khiaa: |
And you are in torment of your miserable present and derailed future. chichar1: |
Rip language death row prisoner! Nightmareo07: |
I thought I'm the one who couldn't find Tinubu's name on the list. It just goes to show how Tinubu has kept a whole tribe in pain. The low-news-day guguru at'epa reporter just had to hurriedly add Tinubu's name for the news to get attention. dotedote: |
You are trolling, come back another time. khiaa: |
Woohoo! The side chic gets all the action then! To get lucky is to get disrespected honey! Wen no be yo mama born me, abeg get to work with everything you got and ma stay longer if he knows what he's doing down there. |
And you mad dogs pain! The truth is hitting you close to home! chichar1: |
Abeg let the civil war happen already, it has always been an opinion, anything to help divide this country. |
Go and drown in your erosion, liar! I know anambra to be a place where erosion is moving the inhabitants back to the forest of Cameroon where they came from, and the people are begging the Fg for my tax dollars to save their muddy asses. You can see your fraudulent way at play again, who is lying? Your leaders who are begging the Fg to be saved from erosion or it's you that now claimed "it's the work of a local firm handling the road project" either way, you don't mind your business, so don't expect me to mind mine. As you know Ijebu Ode is more important than all your 5 states combined. chichar1: |
Don't drag others who have complete language to it, it's you Igbos who have language problems and have burrowed half of your words from Yoruba. Nightmareo07: |
I just posted the picture of your sister that is even not as beautiful, so what's your problem? khiaa: |
While some of your points are spot on, good for you that you have decided to let Igbos say what they want but you know you have no control over the kind of response they get here just as you can't control what Igbos say. Igbos are here to push falsehood and rewrite history which some of us have tolerated for far too long but not anymore. This is no longer some innocent mistakes but a total takeover, Igbos have weaponised propaganda like we've never seen before and only the intelligent can see through it. I'm going to shoot lies down whenever I see it. Corrinthians: |
She is still better than 99% of the pastors out there. |
Hypocrite, if this is "being mocked" what then do you call what Igbos said to Benue people and others about the genocide going in the middle belt? You guys have no hearts I swear! Corrinthians: |
Erosion actually happens everywhere but what makes your case different is that yours is negligence, a man-made disaster waiting to happen. You Igbos have all kinds of problems facing you as a people but you won't mind them, your eyes are on Yoruba. If only you can use the time and energy you exhaust on Yoruba to chart a way out of the erosion that's about to push you back to Cameroon where you came from. Yoruba don't have erosion threat of this magnitude, just a few sink holes here and there. You already know you have erosion problem and still not making drainages. You claim to be developing the world yet you can't develop your land. It becomes my business when you are looking to get my money to fix your problem as you are already screaming for the Fg to come to your rescue when you have a governor. Keep screaming Yoruba, at least your cry is not going to waste, we are giving you reason to this time. Fatherofdragons: |
Language prisoner! We actually have our language all over the Americas, from food to religion and everything in between, all Yoruba's ingenuity. You know Yoruba is not Igbos mate in all ramifications, but your dishonest nature won't let you acknowledge it. Nightmareo07: |
Haha! BabaRamota1980: |
Sure! internationalman: |
Show me a uglier Yoruba lady married to a worse looking white man. khiaa: |
You are a liar, you know everything I said is true but for your dishonest nature makes it difficult for you to agree with me. The earlier you come to terms with the fact that igbo language is incomplete, weak and you have to burrow words from Yoruba, the better for you to start developing your language. All those words and over 100 more are Yoruba and you can't change that no matter how hard you tried, there's a reason why it's a Yoruba man by the name Ajayi Crowther that helped put your language together and wrote your first book for you. Chinua Achebe doesn't belong in the same sentence with Albert Einstein, make that Woke Soyinka, who the world knew to be the real deal. Bye falot! Nightmareo07: |
This is an example of covering Igbos leprosy and minding Yoruba's pimples. Common gutters to channel drainage, the self acclaimed world developers can't construct, all waste water goes back into the ground and now going to sweep them away. I even saw in another thread how Igbos are literally fishing their people out of erosion water with fishing rods. |
Grow more and start making Aloe Vera juice for sale. |
Atlanta.is NOT the cheapest state and most people can't afford to stay in Atlanta, it's actually expensive to live in the city of Atlanta or you are a serious city bug like someone I know. All the people saying they are in Atlanta are actually in places like Igando and Imota and then say they are in Ikoyi. There has been influx of people into Georgia lately.because of the weather and music culture of people who think to make it big in music, you have to be in Atlanta. Tyler Perry was one reason too, another reason is, they already have NE which is New York and west which is California, so it makes sense to try the south, the real south where the southern hospitality is better experienced. Georgia is where loaded "bless your heart" is always served with smiles. I still think Georgia is the best state to live in especially in this political climate. Georgia is where you feel safe in restaurants and bars, you can leave your home at 2 or 3 am without fear of being shot at. In fact you will think twice before you get involved in road rage in Georgia as it may be the last one you get involved in, everyone has a gun and I became a believer when a 68 years old woman had her gun on her cocktail table as if it was a pen or eye glasses you just leave around. internationalman: |
She still hasn't shown her bare baby bump, smells fishy. From celibacy to those without wombs to 70 years old women are now all giving births in Nigeria. What is wrong with going through surrogate or adopting children publicly drama free? |
