Education / Re: Can A Person Stomach Bursts For Excessive Food Or Eating Too Much? by wrose(m): 12:33pm On Jan 30, 2020
Lol, I don't think so. The human body is one special piece created by a master craftman. Before anything odd occurs to the human system, the body itself would see a way of combating or changing any disnormal physiology, that's why we don't have malaria's everytime a mosquito bites us(other factors could make up for this) , though this cannot be the same in all age bracket
Now, when u take in excessive food beyond the physiological capacity of the stomach,a satiety (satisfaction) centre in the brain responds to this and causes u to loose appetite. I don't see how you can force urself to eat more than normal except during food competitions and probably if u are compelled to do so. Now if u do so, definitely there lld be regurgitation or vomiting to prevent the stomach from bursting

Mizwisdom:

Obama, George Bush, Bill Clinton are all past presidents of America, their names are written in the history of America and will be taught to all future generation yet unborn, they have one thing in common, they are all greater than Kobe and they don't have male kids.

Only weak men like you wait for their offspring to remember them, great people make a difference with their lives and the entire world remembers them for what they did, Michael Jackson's children are unknown but it is his own legacy that lives on.

You are an old fellow, probably geriatric, at home alone, that's why you're miserable. Unlike Kobe who has a loving family that will remember him, you will only be remembered by your miserable bingo Dog.

You have been trying to mock the dead on every post about Kobe and his daughter, but you think you will not depart one day too? you're deceiving yourself. You're a wicked soul, your soul is so dark that you even failed to observe that his wife and other kids are grieving this great loss. You must be a serial killer hiding under sarcasm. You will see your miserable end soon

If I was a mod, I would surely give you a lifetime bann

Education / Re: What Are My Chances Of Making First Class? by wrose(m): 6:02pm On Jan 15, 2020
WeRblessed:
First class does not guarantee you a successful future. However, first class is good in a way of making you feel proud of yourself, that you answered all the question in your exam right. Pay attention in learning skills so that you will not go hungry in the future.

Why I'm I saying this? I have three cousins who graduated with first class ( private universities in Nigeria) that I am still feeding. They are now in their thirties ( way older than me), but they can't secure a job. It's been five years now and counting.

They have started learning skills with the hope of opening their own companies after they finished learning. One is learning furniture making, the other one is learning fashion and designs, and the youngest is learning how to sale building materials.

First class is good, but think fast because time waits for no one.
Exactly!!!. Finishing with a first class is a very good thing. I would advice anyone both friend and foe to gun for a first class within their capability because truth be told, that's the primary reason for being in school, come out with great grades and secure a job. That's fine. But change is inevitable. Having a first class without self-development and great networking whist pursing a degree is more or less a fruitless effort.
The world has gone beyond what we know since we have google already to what we can give.
So op, u can still get a first class if u really work hard, but don't bank on first class to be ur gateway to success here in Nigeria.

For a university student to mistake I'M / I AM for AM , i am sure you wrote your WAEC at a miracle centre

On the other hand , don't bother getting Distinction , Learn a trade and keep updating your knowledge about that trade , even if you have age on your side , white collar job is not guaranteed

unless a miracle happens overnight
I was waiting for someone to point out this mistake, nairalanders never disappoint.
Well here is my take for op. It's really a great thing to chase First Class, but never allow this take away the real reason for being in school; To learn and get educated all round. What Nigerians need now are people who can think and solve problems, but unfortunately, we aren't taught all this within the four corners of the classroom. You could choose what your heart wants, but remember that it's all about how fulfilled we are within our hearts and what we want now might not be what we want tomorrow.

Lol, bro, a doctor graduate is not equal to other graduates. Medicine is a professional course, likewise Engineering and Pharmacy and the list goes on. Professional courses would always be un higher regards to other non-professional courses, that's the simple truth.
