Romance / Re: I Want To Marry Her But Discovered This Thing by WudBMother: 6:51pm On May 15, 2023
Quick question- Are you a virgin?

lovediehatelive:
I met this pretty homely girl sometimes ago.

She was reluctant the first time I toasted her and won't want to date me. However, I persisted till she succumbed.

She's everything I want in a lady. She didn't want to visit me when we started dating until one day I promised that I won't touch her.

She visited and was so graceful that I thanked the heavens for sending my soul mate to me.

We discussed a bit and I made her feel comfortable because she was really uneasy.

As promised, I didn't touch her. She felt so free that she rested her head on my chest.

The urge to kiss her became so strong, but I resisted.

What's the use of spoiling things now when she can be mine forever?

She later left and we became really close from then.

I was happy because she's madly beautiful yet so down to earth.

I was thinking she is a virgin but I needed to clarify.

So one day, I used talk to bring talk and stylishly told her a bit about some rough life of my past for her to feel uncomfortable.

She later opened up to me about her first kiss and how the guy went on to have sex with her even though he promised her nothing will happen.

She was 19 years then.

Since then she stopped visiting guys and is no longer in contact with the guy.

She swore that she hasn't kissed or had sex since then.

Now she's 23.

The thing is I really deeply love this girl because she's just exactly what I needed. But I promise myself that I will marry a virgin and nothing else.

My love for this girl is beginning to affect my thinking.

Should I ditch her and keep looking for a virgin?

Or should I continue with her?

I'm planning to see her people this December.

So I planned to quite my job by December and process a direct entry into a Federal University to get a BSc, I planned to save enough money to pay my bills during the course of schooling and I can still work during vacation as I am highly skilled in the field, the skill is highly sort for all over the country. But I'm confused on either to still keep my Job and further my Education when I make enough money and have a business of my own.
Please I need advice.

Keep your job and school. Consider Long distance learning . A highly sought after skill will fetch more than 70K pm.

Family / Re: Is It Advisable To Marry A Man Earning 100k In This Present Economy. Ur Sincere by WudBMother: 8:07pm On Aug 24, 2022
Yes you can.

Just make sure-
You and your prospective spouse have a growth mindset.
You cut your coat according to your cloth, stay in an appropriate area, no need for extravagant expenses and appearances of ostentation.
PULL your resources together. My becomes OUR.
SAVE enough before bringing a child into the mix.

There is nothing wrong with starting small. You will surely grow. Just focus and with God's grace success is sure.

socialmediaman:

So you, a random nairalander, think you know more about the sexual habits of Nigerian women than the company who has sold condoms to millions of people in Nigeria? You summarily dismiss the results of a research conducted by a company worth over $50 billion USD, based on a hunch? What was that hunch based on? The fact that they sell condoms, and Nigeria market is so big and rewarding that they would throw their reputation in the industry to the trash just to sell more condoms to Nigerians? Isn't it easier to just make cheap condoms instead?

With zero alternative fact, research, or even some precedent, you came up with your conclusions? Why don't you do your own survey in 36 countries and publish your findings so that people can sit at the comfort of their devices and dismiss it just like you did?
Family / Re: Paternity Fraud At Its Peak! by WudBMother: 4:42pm On Jul 05, 2022
So a manufacturer of condoms cited by a news outlet is the right source for statistics. The same survey cited twice is what you are using to judge women. Who verified and tested the data on the backend?

Use this type of stats for your educational research and see how your professor will score you.

Since you refused to deduce that Durex is just looking to encourage the use of condoms and the news outlet is looking for clicks.
Not every information/data online is true and useful.

You could’ve simply googled it before exposing your ignorance and laziness to research!

NBS well done. Spreading fake statistics everywhere. That bad news spreads faster does not mean there is no good.

You haven’t been paying attention. Nigerian women are the most promiscuous women in the world. Nearly 70% of Nigerian women are unfaithful to their husbands (that is, 7 out of every 10 Nigerian women)

TV/Movies / Re: Chief Daddy 2 (Going For Broke)- Reviews And Ratings? by WudBMother: 1:19am On Jan 03, 2022
You have said it all. Waste of data. Poor and incohesive story line.

safarigirl:
In the spirit of New Year Celebrations, Netflix was thoughtful enough to kick off 2022 with a second part to the highly grossing movie, Chief Daddy 2.

This movie is basically a continuation of Chief Daddy, a movie about a rather large family dealing with their internal conflicts at the death of the family's Patriarch, a man fondly called 'Chief Daddy'

Now, at the end of Part 1, there is an introduction of a new character. This character, who, we learn is named Laila at the beginning of Part 2, is played by Rahama Sadau.

Contrary to our collective expectations though, the inclusion of this new character, does not add any sort of depth to the storyline in the part 2.

Now, if you recall, the first part of Chief Daddy, comes to an end with the declaration that contrary to the expectations of the rather greedy members of the Beecroft family, they will not receive their shares of Chief Daddy's property just because they made nice with each other. In fact, there doesn't seem to be shares to be redeemed, something about an IPO and a Company takeover, I won't bore you with the technicalities.

Anyway, the second part begins with Laila, another estranged child of the dedicated philanderer, Chief Daddy, informing the rest of his family, that she will be taking charge of the company, as the rest of them are simply not competent enough.

Where did Laila appear from? We don't know. How did we get to this scene? We're still not sure....however, we at least know, that Laila's mother is named Maryamu, and she does not hold the status of 'legally married wife to the Chief'. That is all the information we need.

Laila is presented to us as something of the antagonist in this movie, so, ideally, the storyline should focus on her constantly sabotaging the rest of the family and the rest of them trying to overcome her as a team, right?

Wrong. See, for the 1h 35minutes duration of the movie, we only see Laila tap into her antagonist nature a couple of times, and the moments are so fleeting, so sudden even, it neither brings with it any shock or suspense value. It's just a scene.

As we are introduced to Laila, we are also introduced to a character we assume is her right-hand man at first, Prince Sonny (Uzor Arukwe). I am happy to let you all know that we do not see him betray her trust, we do not see him take advantage of his relationship with sisters Tinu and Teni, who are smitten by him, to supply her any shady information about the Beecroft family. In fact, he might have as well not been introduced alongside her, because there is barely any interaction between them after the first scene.

But far be it that Prince Sonny is the most unnecessary character in this movie, because we are still being haunted by Joro (Nedu Wazobia) and Chuchu (Chigurl), the clueless Event Planners from Chief Daddy 1.

I can go on all day, but let me state my main issues with this movie, beyond what has been mentioned already:

1. One of my main grouse with the Part 1 of Chief Daddy was a lack of story development, especially as regards the romance of Dammy and Adaora, the Part 2 only got worse on that front. Very poor story development. I compared it to a work done by 10 different writers, none of whom consulted each other. They just brought together their individual pieces and made a movie that simply didn't flow.

2. I would like to thank Dubai and the UAE for always coming through for Nollywood whenever they want to give us a little razzle dazzle so we barely notice a poor plotline, but it simply did not work this time. Dubai was unnecessary, but let us excuse it, based on possible MoUs signed. It was, however, not the only unnecessary part in this movie.

3. This one is special, because it is the second time EbonyLife has done this thing and we must call it out. WHY MUST YOU CARRY OVER A DISPENSABLE CHARACTER FROM PART 1 TO PART 2 OF A MOVIE?
Recall that in The Wedding Party 2, we had to deal with Saka's character once again at the airport, trying to board a flight he did not book, for a wedding he was not invited to, as if trying to stir up memories of when he crashed the wedding in Part 1. We also had to witness the MC from Wedding Party 1, played by AY, engage in a tussle for MC Supremacy in The Wedding Party 2, even though the second wedding was all the way in Dubai.
Now, in Chief Daddy 2, Joro and Chuchu, both of who planned the memorial party in Chief Daddy 1, have returned as Planners for the wedding of a supposedly rich and affluent superstar footballer, Dammy Baggio (Mawuli Gavor). Why? How? If he is as wealthy as his character is portrayed to be, how realistic is it, that he would put his wedding planning in the hands of these Bend-down-select event planners?
Were they necessary? No. Did they need to be carried over? No. Did they add to story development? No. Did they add to comic value? Not at all. Yet, here we are.

On a positive note, the setting was nice, from Lagos to London and Dubai, lighting was great, sound was awesome, music score was decent. There was heavy usage of Falz The Bahd Guy's tracks; they may have killed two birds with a stone by using a lead actor's music, possibly to sort some copyright issues. Very smart move in production. The general acting was decent. The script was as underwhelming as the plotline. No quotable quotes, no witty words. It gave nothing.

To be honest, if you haven't watched Part 1, good for you. Don't bother. If you have, and you wish to watch Part 2 either for curiosity or to fulfill all righteousness, make sure you use Free wifi, or someone else's data. It will hurt less.

Overall Rating: 4.5/10.

Please, if you've seen the movie. What are your thoughts and ratings?

Bros, Show us the way! grin

iLegendd:
What Happened to Me? [Picture]

Yes, I have not been online for a week plus now. Reason? I'm minding my business and drinking more water.

Oh, making money and sleeping too much. I may be pregnant. I spent 5 years being awake or sleeping less, so allow me to sleep as much as I want.

Do you know I have more than 20 bank accounts and I have a couple of thousand in each? Why? I'm writing a book about it.

Also, I use more than 15 eBanking apps and I have a couple of thousand in each? Why? Still part of the book.

And yes, I have more than 40 Crypto exchange apps I use. Why? Still part of the book.

My purpose is to expose the Nigerian financial system and how the bank and the government want you to be poor. Trust me, the government and the banks want you to be extremely poor so that you can be easily controlled. Rich people are hard to control in a lawless country.

Before I leave, I want to tell you Crypto is the way forward. Don't worry about the market crashing. It will always crash and it will always rise. Just have some working strategies. I have made millions from Crypto — just the same way I make from my books.

I always tell people — I won't work, yet I won't be broke. That is the way forward. Focusing on job job job is the mindset of a man who loves poverty. Create the jobs for others to work.

In life, we need to plan. No matter the distraction, we need to stay focused. I used to be broke, but being focused saved me even when angels of darkness (haters), abused me left and right. I just kept going and doing more of what they hate. I'm heartless. grin

Making money while you sleep is the way forward. Complaining too much about everything is the way backward.

Earlier today, I wanted to withdraw just $100 to give to someone (even though I'm stingy), since I don't touch the Nairas in all my accounts. They are there for a reason. I keep my main money in Dollar, Crypto, Euro, and Pounds.

I ended up using the $100 to purchase a certain coin on Bkex exchange, one of the many exchanges I use, to buy a sh!t coin. After buying it, I fell asleep.

I woke this evening and the $100 (56k) had turned to $683 (383k).

You see, 56k turned 383k in few hours.

As a single and lazy child, I just opened one of the wines I bought days ago to drink with my visitor as I watch football.

In this life, stress is a must (don't complain), but happiness is an option. Hatred and love come with progress.

I created this thread not because I wanted to, it's because I got a couple of messages on WhatsApp from fans telling me they miss my crazy posts. So, I decided to create this post before crawl back to my cave and mind my business.

Do you want some pictures? See them below.

Remember, making money is not hard, but being organized and focused is.

Stop complaining and start doing things that'll change your life.

If the position is still open recommend her, and don't let her know you did. If possible, ensure she does not report to you.

For those telling you not to, What if this person applied for another position from the outside and was successful, will you keep malice with her in the office, simply because you dated previously? Be wise.

BTW you are not meant to receive something in return from every recipient of your acts of kindness. Leave the reward for God.

Forthispost:
Hello Nairalanders. I need your honest feedback on this issue.

There is this ex of mine I dated for approximately 4 years. During the course of our relationship, I Was totally in my best power not to be the toxic one and never cheated on her but she eventually left with no viable reason. There were times she messed up and I forgave her even while we dated.
Close to the time of her graduation from a reputable state university in Nigeria, she started messing up and eventually broke up the relationship.
I was pained though but I had to forgive her and move on.

After the break up (which is about 3 years away now) we still talk (greetings on phone) once in a blue moon.

Now the issue at hand is, a male boss of mine requested that I recommend a female staff that matches a particular vacant role in our organisation .
Note: This is an internal recruitment and who ever I recommend stand a 95% chance of getting employed ( the other 5% if for village people). The role is an entry role with pay centered around 80k-100k monthly. She currently earns 22k where she works now at at our last conversation. Though she use to be a cool person before her village people entered the relationship. Over three years of not being close as before gives me no clue of the type of person she might have become now. Maybe a scorned woman or a more sensible person. I'm doing far better than when she left me and it's super glaring to her.

The reason why I need advice is this: I work at the same organisation in question and I have no plan to leave soon. I'm trying to avoid a case where she will be the one to facilitate any issue for me at the said work place. Just avoiding anything that will result in regrets.

Update: I forgot to add, she's one of the person I know who suits the role. I don't have sister who matches the role.

I created this new account for just this thread hence the moniker "for this post"

Kindly advice biko. Bashing is allowed.
