Systrom: Commissioned officers are senior officers Non commissioned officers are junior officers
Commissioned officers are those that join the force with a BSc
Non commissioned officers are those that join the force with a WAEC result.
This explanation applies to police/army/and all other forces too Half truth. |

oluwaseyi000: Thanks, but can a non commissioned officer later become commissioned and is the lowest commission officer higher than the highest non commissioned Answer to First question is yes. Get a 1st or 2nd degree. 2nd question is tricky. Yes may be the answer but it's not "workable". It's kind of an unrealistic rule. I'm on level 12 and non commissioned but led or ordered by a commissioned officer in level 8 even after being on the job much earlier and longer and even receive a better pay. |

miniziter: You mean the telephone automatically knows its coming from someone that need urgent attention? Yes and No. They (TVC) knows when the call is a foreign call (the number looks different). Plus, a storyline of women held against their will under servitude especially in foreign lands (lebanon) is a hot and enticing news for them. So they'll disregard yours as local and not so much of a news anyway because they are familiar with the local gists. |

Even if they had the equipment to fight the fire, the terrible network and condition of the roads leading to the market would have hampered the speed of arrival.
The town is just so overcrowded.
Same thing with other towns in the vicinity,: narrow streets filled with potholes and meandering in pattern. |

Sanchez01: The writing on the truck reads 'Delta State Fire Service' (with the Delta state logo). This is a state affair and not a federal fire service. The Anambra state government is a failure, no mincing words. I'm aware it's the Delta State Government Fire Service that actually came but what I'm saying is both "FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE" of Anambra & Delta State FAILED! |

Kapeter: This is what happen when you are so concerned about how yoruba run their government and their lands while you desert yours. That is their biggest city without no active firefighter. Fire conviniently razed the city for good 5 hours.
Firefighters had to come all the way from Asaba not Enugu, not Imo.
I hope you ibos learn someday. And if you like, refuse to learn and continue concerning yourself with Yoruba affairs while your cities burn to ashes. Pathetic lots. Imbecilic reasoning by a tiger clawed, facial scarred, individual from the land of rusty brown zinc roofs. |

Sanchez01: So you think Delta fire service would deploy to Onitsha if Anambra had an active fire department? Just in case you think it is normal, it isn't.
It should normally be out of jurisdiction and a top level clearance would have been required in saner climes, save it is the situation of a city helping another in distress and rooms for protocols are not duly followed.
Ideally, fire service from another state should not be found putting out fire in another domain. Federal fire service could work anywhere across the nation. Federal fire service in Delta State could be called upon to handle this as thiers is a federal job not just a state thing. Problem is, they seem invisible. (No where to be found). |

valentineuwakwe: i thought peter obi commission some fire service truck before he left, so wat happen to them? it's even shameful that a bigger city like onitsha don't hv a fire service.....Asaba fire service had to drive down to aid the city, meanwhile I thought the Federal Fire Service did recruitment this year? Your last question is the REAL QUESTION! |
