He can install/apoint and he can remove And you think such will withstand the 'pressures' that would arise. You are funny. If you are in Benin (doubt you were born or reside there), try and speak such in their bars(public); for example, at Ring road. Interesting.
It appears the new #145 is as the old #86.50 per litre; where NNPC sells at official price, while other petrol filling stations sell above the official price.
With challenges of FOREX to continue if polices don't change, NNPC petrol filling stations will sell at #145, while others will sell above. Maybe #150 to #200 or more.

“The threat of expulsion of the distinguished senator by El-Rufai spokesman is nothing but the hallucinations of a barely educated ogogoro drinker. It will be interesting for the general public to know that even the so-called state headquarters of the APC is a building owned by a top PDP chieftain in the state. It will also interest the public to know that 80 percent of Kaduna state APC exco are appointed into El-Rufai government.”
“El-Rufai is a bad and rotten egg in the APC. He knelt down for Atiku to become BPE chair and later betrayed him. He knelt down for Obj to become a minister and later betrayed him. He knelt down for Buhari to be governor of which later he will betray him. Fear El-Rufai whenever he kneels down before you.

Built2last: Thats why i said Chibok Parents and family really must enter Guinness book of records. First none came forward to talk to TV about their abducted daughter. None went naked out of grief. None made a fuss over their missing daughter.
Now a man appears with your RESCUED daughter. It is not that the man brought her and was crying and apologizing. NO. In a military rambo-like rescue, both vigilantes and military combined like rice and beans and swung in and rescued your daughter. They "CAUGHT" the kidnapper and serial rapist who had even gotten her pregnant and made her a mother. This man from whom this girl is RESCUED, who did not RETURN her out of his own volition is never arrested, never beaten up, never tortured to show where the rest are. Instead he is flown like a prince and kept in the same hospital bed as the RESCUED girl.
And the girl's parents and brother, instead of biting the man ear who kidnapped their 16 years daughter, instead of trying to murder him, they are silent and allowing their daughter to continue being with him. A man who has kept their daughter away from them and caused them grief, they are quiet and allowing him access to her as if he gave them bride price.
Let us now juxtapose Ese Oruru's case. Do you think the parents will allow emmmm emmmm emmm. Emir Sanusi parade himself as her husband? Emmm oh Sorry Yinusa. Have you seen Yinusa and Ese in same environment?
Abduction and rape is no joking matter. No matter how much and how long a victim has been with her abductor and how many children they have made, the abductor is separated from the victim and sent to jail while the victim is treated for trauma and other physical and psychological damage that may have occurred.
Truth remains, if it does not look like a duck, walk like a duck and squawk like a duck, it is not a duck. You cannot tell me Buhari and all around him are stupid enough not to know that a rapist is not allowed to continue to be with the victim just because they have a child Surely the president is not that stupid? He must know that the girl and her rapist and abductor must be separated right?
Poor script writers. APC looking for what to celebrate on May 29 after a year of destroying Nigeria and plunging people into suffering. This is the best they could come up with.

Interesting If petrol price increases to #130 per litre: Cost of transport fares, food items(basic amenities) and materials(building, construction, manufacturing and production) also increase. Landowners(landlords) may increase house rent because of increase in their expenses(as listed above). Prices of clothing wears and other wears would increase. There will be a ripple effect on all prices of items. Those who transport perishable goods, though via diesel-powered trucks will also increase their price per sale. Interesting policy considering that many institutions do not consider pay increase anytime soon.

“As leaders of town unions in the five states of the South-East, we are disturbed by the activities of the rampaging Fulani herdsmen who have continued to destroy farmlands, rape women and kill innocent people. We are further worried that President Buhari is yet to give this problem the serious attention it deserves. The Fulani herdsmen attack did not start today, but the question is: Were they this daring in their attacks before Buhari emerged President?
“People have been killed in Agatu; in Delta, a monarch was kidnapped and found dead. Millions of others have been displaced from their homes. Now Ukpabi-Nimbo community in Enugu has been attacked and people massacred. Enough is enough; we won’t tolerate this again in any part of Igbo land. Nigeria is treading a dangerous path. The President should do everything to douse the suspicion. We are not saying he sent them, but he has the authority to check the attacks to avoid reprisal.
Otherwise, individuals and communities may resort to self-defence”.

Politics › Re: ICC Prosecutor Visits Nigeria - Indicates Interest To Commence Investigation by Xano(m): 10:34am On Apr 14, 2016 |
castrogee: People don't even understand how the ICC works. It is a court that prosecutes crimes that fall within its jurisdiction, crimes such as: Rape, murder, massacre, destruction of a civilian society by any means, etc. They have professional judges. The prosecutor's team will first investigate the case submitted by the plaintiff to ascertain if the case falls within the court's jurisdiction and also to ascertain if the case should go on owing to the fact that some cases may be minor or trivial, like an unintentional killing of a civilian society. For example, if the police in trying to quell a riot accidentally kills people, though the ICC has the jurisdiction over such matter but they may not go on to prosecute the case, because such is the tragedy of our every day lives and in this case ICC will only issue a directive to the relevant organ or authority responsible to be more reasonable in their actions next time to avoid such human casualties.
All these go down during the ICC preliminary investigation, the preliminary investigation is conducted to ascertain if the case can go on to the next level which is now the full investigation of the various evidences rallied by the plaintiff against the defendant, needless to say that at this moment the ICC is almost certain that the case will go on, i.e the prosecutor is almost certain that he is ready to prosecute.
Unfortunately, this is where Nigeria is right now. The coming of the ICC prosecutor, the chief prosecutor for that matter is to signal to the Nigerian authority that the result of there preliminary investigation indicts them (Nigeria), and they will go into full investigation and also to intimate the Nigerian government to be ready for the investigation because certain govt officials will need to be examined. Now, IPOB is claiming to be in possession of forensic evidence against the Nigerian army i.e. evidence that shows that the bullets used against arm-less protesters indeed came from the Nigerian military (and this is scary), coupled with video evidence. This is the reason why the army is sweating to brand IPOB a terror group. But the truth is that you don't just label a group terrorists without strong evidence of their ties to destruction and untamed violence and evidence to show that they have carried out such crimes like ISIS is doing now. For Goodness sake the Nigerian govt should know that they are appearing before a panel of judges, learned and experienced judges for that matter that understand the terrain and they want to present these baseless charges before them?
Predictably, some of us saw this thing coming, and raised alarm, but Buhair being a dullard thought everything about power is fiat. he ordered his COAS to use hyper force on unarmed protesters, because he is buhari, well I wish him good luck. Now IPOB has said they will resume their protests once they get their TV station running, the implication is that this time they could hold the protests for the time they want without harassment because the world is now paying attention. I believe this shouldn't have gotten to this level had Buhari not been reckless with his decision. Over 8 cases have been established against Nigeria in the ICC, I told a friend of mine that the next battle ground in the world is Nigeria. Its unfortunate that it is only in Africa that you see unarmed protesters been shot with such reckless abandon, and yet Africa will claim to be unfairly treated by the west. In most cases, it was more than use of hyper force. In the era of high quality mega pixels in smart phones, the use of camera and video evidence will be damning. Shiites attacked and IPOB protests affected may have video and picture evidence to submit against the Nigerian Army. It may be interesting development in the coming weeks. |
