Here on Nairaland, I have noticed that there is a big enmity between the men and women. But I don't think that's the way they behave offline.

Some Nigerian women (especially the "f" monikers here on Nairaland) are always quick to generalize and bash Nigerian men whenever a man makes the news for something bad for example, a married man having extramarital affairs. But one will never see this set of hypocrites judge cheating married women in such manner. They make senseless comments and the really dumb ones go ahead to insult the husband for her wife's inability to remain faithful.

Once a rogue man makes the news for some negative reasons (i.e rapist, paedophile) you will at once notice the way all these females vomit their hatred towards men even in some instances when the perpetrator is not even an african. They all claim to be feminists when in reality they are just misandists. Just my observations though, have anybody else notice this issue with the females we have here?

Any woman that thinks this way should be a no no when it comes to building a family. I've seen similar situations where the woman acts like the spiritual pioneer of the family, frequenting church everyday of the week even when there is no service.

There is even one scenario that occured in my area recently, a pastor that was severely beaten for sleeping with another man's wife. The woman confessed that they always had sex "inside the church" and "in the pastor's" car. This is a "god fearing woman" who according to the husband "rarely have time for the home and family because of church activities"

If you know the atrocities all this so called "pastors" are commiting, you will never allow your wife or daughter to attend any church.

The biblical Jesus came and he tried to enlighten humanity, majority are still unable to grasp his messages and teachings. Just like every other higher being that came down with good intentions for humanity, Jesus tried to wake us from "The Sleep", he was completely against religious leaders at that time because they mislead others - up till now.

The churches of today are simply following the footsteps of Paul. They are not preaching Jesus, they preach Paul. But the followers do not understand the foundation. Paul was always against Jesus christ and his teachings, he was the persecutor. When Jesus died he had to continue the fight but with a different approach, he infiltrated the seed that was planted. He cashed out big time in the process and clergymen of today follow in his footsteps.

Jesus Christ did not come here to "die" for the salvation of anybody. He lived for humans in his time to be enlightened. He was killed while trying to help them. He did not die willingly, he even prayed against it. Christ-like beings do exist once in a while throughout history.

The world power at that time saw him as a threat, because if more humans get enlightened, their structure will become powerless. So Jesus had to be killed, the killing has to be justified...and his messages adulterated.

Have you ever pondered on how Jesus was sentenced to death by Pilate the Roman? And today Christians look up to the leader of the Vatican city. The same people who killed the seed, rewrote the entire bible to their taste and claim it is God's message (reason the bible is always conflicting itself. Just like the Quran it was written by some people who seek to control other humans), appointed a leader to now continue the teachings of the one who was murdered. They do it for one reason, to control and rule humans. You can't be a world power without elements of control over humans.

Religion is a tool of control. People are caged with fear.

Let's not talk about Islam, the brother of christianity. Go read about the Genocides of Mohammed, his sexual crimes and all. His ideas gave birth to majority of modern day terrorisms.

*Christians should not take it personal, I only used the story of Jesus as a reference. It is the same with Muhammed and all other forms of religion, they keep you in bondage with the threat of "hell fire." We are all afraid of the thoughts of a nonexistent burning furnace. We give away our soul out of fear, Muslims trade empathy for wickedness and brutal killings all in the name of religion. Modern day Christianity may not support bloody killings like it's brother, but the deceits, lies, hypocrisy, greed and selfishness within the church is second to none.

Although I'm not a religious person, I do not think it is a bad idea. We can't keep running and hiding indoors because of a foreign disease whose existence within Nigeria is controversial. For how long can we hide? How long can we survive indoors?
The best solution is for everyone to learn how to live with this disease in the society. Everyone needs to start taking responsibility for themselves in terms of adhering to preventive measures. This Nigerian government's "copy paste" tactics of locking people in their houses without a general support plan is worse than COVID19 itself.

The issue is what even made me angry is how she reacted. If she didn’t like what my mom said made her angry. At least she should have waited till we got home (this was the first time we were both sleeping over) then she would tell me. Or she could have called my sister and told her what my mom said. But this her attitude don tire me. Break up is not on the card for me at least not yet. Firstbank chop my 5k, they converted my account from savings to first instant acc. I had to come back to lagos from O town just to make my expired atm working, but all to no avail. That was in 2013.

I left the 5k for them. Even if i use my other bank app to search for my Firstbank acc details, it doesn't show.

I remember what one of their staff did for me. There was this guy i met on BBM channel back then in 2014, he claim to sell fix match and that all his ticked normally enter. I chatted him, and told him i was in. He sent his acc details and told me to pay immediately that the next game would start by 4:00pm( tuesday). As a guy way wan buy flat screen TV for school then, i decided to use out of my 10k I had at home. I took 5k to send to him, and my plan was to stake with 5K.

I set out for the bank, I entered and boom, I collect the deposit slip, filled in his details and proceeded to have it deposited. I gave the staff the deposit, all to my surprise he started advising me that i shouldn't do fixed match stuff that it's fake. How he knew I didn't know, so he told me he knew the account details I entered and it's a scam.

I took my money back from him, cus I was having double mind pay in, don't pay dem go chop you OOo. I left with my money, tore the slip and branched to one joint like that, orderd for Ofe Akwu, two goat meat, and small beans for the side. I ate and went back home.

At 6:30pm, I saw on his wall, " sorry for today's fixed match cast, my source said something happened between the coach and the players, that changed the game."

I was very happy say dem no gba mi OOo. The bank staff just saved me.

Zenith Bank is number 2 and is also technology savvy.

My advice will be on first bank, using it for more than 10years no issue, no any how charges.

Please Nairalanders, I need to open a new bank account very soon.
I need a bank with a good mobile app, effective atm card services (especially in terms of POS payments), and also a good ussd banking option.

Based on the above criterias, I need you guys to share your experiences with your current banks so that I can be able to get it right for once. I do not want to act based on "hearsay" I need first hand experience.

I opened my current bank account over 10 years ago with a bank that I'm very sure is the first or second leading bank in terms of branches nationwide. But my bank is so medieval with their services, they think the year is still 1975.

My bank does not even have a functioning mobile app, they have one crap on Google play that claims to support the whole of their banks across Africa (Can you imagine?) I have downloaded the app on my Huawei, Samsung and Infinix, the app is my definition of crapiness, it is not working. I could only set it up on my Samsung about a year ago, at that time it was very sluggish. About a month later, I updated and that was the end. Up till now I can't set it up on any of my phones because the app is dead. The app is as large as a Caterpillar but weaker than a mere bicycle. My bank claim to have some other vague omni whatever that I can't even find on app stores.

I have to rely on quickteller mobile app for all my mobile payments. But the problem with this option is that once there is a mobile data network bleep during a transaction, you will get an error message for a failed transaction which is fair. But my bank will always debit me instantly and they do not make an automatic reversal until after 3-4 weeks of complaining to their customer support or reporting to the nearest branch. This is not only with my quickteller app, I do a lot of POS payments with my ATM card everyday, each time I slot my card into the POS device I will always be praying that the transaction does not fail. If it fails my account will be debited instantly, everytime I will have to submit a complain and wait for 3 weeks minimum for the money to be refunded to my account.

It is the same thing when I use my ATM on other bank machines or mobile money operators. I'm sick and tired.

This have become so annoying to me. Sometimes I can have up to 7 active cases with their Advantage Banking support, their complaint resolve team is very slow and sometimes lackadaisical.

My bank also claim to have an audio ussd service that is *3-6#, a ussd service that can only be used to recharge my registered number on the account. It does nothing more. Most times, you will get debited and still receive no airtime.

The only benefit I enjoy with my bank is that they have many branches especially here in Benin city. And also they do not make illicit charges from my account.

Please my fellow nairalanders, I need to open a new bank account. Advice based on your experience, thanks.

A Very Big Mistake Of My Life

Please pardon me in case of any grammatical error. My story will be long, pls kindly bear with me and read to the finishing point. I'm ready to accept any insulting comments, it doesn't matter to me now.

I'm a 25 years old guy, not really financially buoyant but an average, money never dries in my pocket and back account as a hustler. Am currently still in part time program in university.

Now let me go straight to the point, here is my story. I started dating one beautiful girl back then in 2014, we were in love until something came up. There was a time I came home and she visited, that was the beginning of our separation, my mother warned me to stay away from her that she doesn't like her.

Honestly, I didn't know how to breakup with her without hurting her because she loved and cared for me so much. I love my mother so much and I listen to her as well. So, I started to avoid her, reducing my number of calls with her, sometimes when I visited home I won't tell her. All these to make her change her mind but all to no avail, I couldn't tell her what's up so that she won't hate my mother and make both of them enemies of each other.

She noticed my unprecedented and unusual behaviors, she asked me what has she done I only told her that I was very busy and concentrating on something. She later got fade up and started minding her own business because sometimes she would call I won't pick her calls, so she decided to let me be.

Fast forward to early this year, she went for a business trip and returned, so I decided to pay her a visit because even though we are no longer in love but we are still friends. I was hoping to visit her in her shop but she wasn't there, she told me to come to her apartment, I went there, we gist and had funs, she started making a move to me and we eventually had an unprotected sex.

I was thinking that she was a big girl and can take care of herself but after one month plus she called me and told me that she was pregnant, I was speechless and couldn't believe her, she threatened to report the case to my mother if I didn't show up and proffer solutions, my mind jumped. Now am afraid if she will angrily expose me because she told her people that the person that got her the pregnancy is not around he traveled abroad. I haven't answered her since then because I have been busy thinking about my mistake, regretting the day I visited her, crying had I know. I returned but I didn't tell her so she won't visit me. Right now am having a double mind if I should adhere to what she told me by contributing money for the stuff, but the other hand, am asking for God's mercy upon my life, so if I should contribute money now it means I will be committing sin upon sin. Our first child is 3 months old. Wife had the child through CS. During pregnancy, she stopped intercourse at 7 months. After her delivery, she agreed to sex twice recently after what looks like begging.
