Master's degrees in the United States
The United States will forever be associated with “the land of the free”, the world-famous American dream being something a lot of international students aspire to and get to achieve after studying a Master’s degree here.

Some of the most popular reasons Nigerian students go to study in the United States are:

1. The U.S. feels like home

2. Some of the most notable Americans are of Nigerian descent
Prize-winning author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Oscar-nominated actress Sophie Okonedo, haematology-oncologist Olufunmilayo Olopade and mathematician Gabriel Oyibo are some of the most prominent Nigerian-Americans that prove the name of “land of all possibilities” is well-deserved.

3. Nigerians are some of the best students in the country

If you have plans of travelling out please travel ooo, don't listen to this one... You believe it's all about money? We have seen very rich millionaires relocate abroad so it's not really about the money, fela went to study music in UK and he saw the how humans should be living which is totally different from how Nigerians are living, he tried his best to raise alarm of the money our leaders are looting can turn around Nigeria to a paradise but our Nigerian leaders are cursed with greed and selfishness... Dubai is a very good example because their leaders are wise and smart... Until Nigerian leaders lineage are eradicated it will continue to remain like that, how easy is it for a Nigerian youth to work and hustle 2 millionaire in a year legitimately? The country doesn't encourage talent. An example is Mike adenuga, he was a taxi driver in UK before he came to set up his business in Nigeria.. So please let people travel out if they like, until there's a solution to Nigerian leaders. There is no hope for growth
The OP is just trying to discourage people from traveling because he can't travel, maybe for financial reasons

If he wants to change the country, he would have opened a thread about how to remove corrupt leaders but instead he is discouraging people from traveling.

Tell me, would Wole Soyinka have won the Nobel prize if he didn't travel out of Nigeria?

I think he got 3rd class in Nigeria but travelled out and was the best in uni and won a Nobel prize.

There are cases of people that Nigeria have made dumb. They fail or pass with poor marks in Nigeria but succeed in abroad. You can't replace a working system.

The OP should keep discouraging people, misery loves company

Dutch is close to the English language and it won't be difficult to learn. Download books and apps like Duolingo, Busuu and Mondly.

In a year, you can hold everyday conversations and talk with speakers about many topics.

If you want to give it another shot, you can use Duolingo, Busuu and Mondly apps at the same time. It will help you understand comprehension more.

You can also download a polish book or the language you want to learn on wikibooks. The books explain more.

Well, ive not seen any physically.

Based on the internet, documentaries, Norway youtube channels ive seen, i can say Japan is beautiful but not not than Norway.

The landscapes, mountains, lakes, waterfall, cruise, glaciers, Northern lights in Norway is second to none. My opinion.

You can google most Naturally beautiful countries on earth, you won't see Japan. You see Norway, Canada, Switzerland, US(Colorado, Washington State, Utah, Montana), and mostly Europe.

Nice.

It's good to have a concrete reason to learn a language but most times, you get much better results if you learn it as a hobby. However, not everyone is passionate about languages until the need to learn one arises.
Exactly, everyone has different passions
TravelLearning A Foreign Language? Get In Here by Xeeex(op): 6:04pm On Aug 23, 2020
Learning a foreign language can be challenging and humiliating. Learning languages can be difficult and it can also be easy based on how your mind is programmed.

The difficulty of learning a language also depends on the type of language you speak and the language you are learning.

For example, an English speaker will learn Dutch, German, Danish faster than languages like Arabic, Estonian, Finnish and Chinese.

Spanish speakers speaking in Spanish can hold a conversation with Portuguese speakers speaking in Portuguese. The languages have about 90% similarity.

The key to learning a language is to find a concrete reason to learn the language and the make the process of learning enjoyable.

One hour a day of language learning will accumulate to about 360 hours of learning in a year and with that one can be pretty good in the new language.

Learning new languages opens several new opportunities and open doors to new communities. You will make friends with people who you will never know if you didn't speak their language.

The key to learning languages is immersion. Immerse yourself in the language and build slowly.

Apps like Duolingo helps but they are restricted on the level which they can take you. Get books, audio files and make a friend in your target language.

Slow and steady wins the race. It won't be easy but it would be worthwhile.

Lastly, learn important languages that presents you opportunities and are spoken by many people.

Learn endangered languages and help preserve languages that are going extinct.

Learning languages makes you more human and if you want to preach to someone, there is no better way than to talk to the person in his native language.

Share your experiences learning languages and some benefits you got just because you can speak a particular language.

It is not my intention to change the mind of people that have made up their minds like you. Even when Nigeria, at least a part of Nigeria was like Paradise compared to today, some of us still left.

But we come to learn that we left the best country in the world with the greatest potentials. Actually, you have to leave to compare and get a good grasp of it.

Africans have always been treated badly outside but many Africans lied to us luring us there. We never had the information we have now. Only leaders like Herbert Macauley, Nkrumah, Azikiwe, Awo and few others through their writings and fights against whites opened our eyes.

At least Africans going overseas were respected then because of Nkrumah and the Potential of NIGERIA to become world Power. Those two factors have disappeared. No reason to respect Africans. Africans are selling themselves to get out.

Why? Branding, Glitters, Mirrors in exchange for Gold, Plastics in exchange for talents underemployed as cheap labor and more important:

Solid Belief that only Whites can save Africans, they cannot save themselves. Jews must stay as slaves in Egypt instead of going home.

Moreover, we found out that no matter how accomplished you are, they taunt you to go home and repeat the same for your people.

Diaspora Blacks that Africans used to bring home were happy and grateful that they have a place to return. Marcus Garvey started Back to Africa Movement.

Dubois was happy to return to Ghana, Alexander was happy to return to Nigeria and later became Chief Justice. Those are prominent ones, think about average ones that returned.

Think about why Sunny Kuku, Maduka, Ani, Audu, doctors, lawyers, engineers followed their fathers like DaRocha, Sapara etc home.

The only place they know you, your name, street and family is in Africa. Right now outside Africa you are just a niggatt. Everyday, no matter how highly placed you are, you must wonder if your son or husband would come home safe. If your job is secured, even as the best and the boss. Police carry out the intention of their people after KKK went underground. That is why the JURY discharge them free.

Dog wey wan loss nor dey hia wisuul.
Deep down you are just low-key mad that you can't afford to travel out of the country

Misery loves company
