Celebrities › Re: Ugezu: Doing DNA Test Not African, A Child That Calls African Man Father Is His by xeju: 7:02pm On Feb 21, 2022 |
tydi: Nollywood actor, Ugezu J Ugezu, has stirred reactions after he shared his opinion on doing a DNA test to confirm the paternity of a child.
Taking to his Instagram page on Monday, February 21, the thespian noted that the issue of DNA has tore many homes apart. According to him, carrying out a DNA test on a child is not an African thing.
He noted that any child who calls an African man father is an African man’s child, and that was how our forefathers lived their lives and enjoyed peace of mind.
“A child who calls an African man father is an African man’s child. Period. This DNA thing is not really an African thing. A child born to an African man is the African man’s child. Our fathers held this belief and enjoyed peace of mind. This DNA stuff is tearing many homes apart and destroying many innocent children. In THINGS FALL APART, the mother Earth rose against Okonkwo for killing the child who called him father. THINK!”. He wrote.
https://www.instagram.com/p/CaPAvg-rlZ6/?utm_medium=copy_link That's if our forefathers know what DNA is or stands for. They had their doubts in those days too but didn't know how to find out, some went as far as consulting the gods to check esp when the child doesn't behave like them. So oga your opinion is childish and smell of ignorance |

eazzzy1: I’m in no way trying to exonerate Buhari, neither am I saying it’s right because it happened in Canada. I’m comparing the news coverage of such incidences. End Sars was on almost every major news station in the world, who’s covering the Canadian version?
Where is Jack Dorsey? By exaggerate our issues, I mean we give press to every negative happening in the country. Someone who never lived in naija would think Nigeria is one very big jungle where nothing works. Even though some of our problems are not peculiar to us. With all this your many talk, Nigeria is still a big jungle except you don't stay in Nigeria or beta still you're not a Nigerian |

eazzzy1: University of Lethbridge in Canada is currently on strike.
Canadian truckers have been protesting in Ottawa for almost a month now. The government of Canada froze their accounts and has been arresting protesters. The exact same way end sars protest was handled.
We don’t see these reports from ‘saner climes’ in the news. We Nigerians just love to over exaggerate our issues. But soldiers nor get there go they shoot people anyhow and all the people arrested would be well documented and not disappear as in akwuzu |

Jennyclay: GOD IS LOVE..... GOD answers everyone's prayers.
If you study your Bible very well, you would understand when Jesus was on earth, he never condemned anybody. No matter the sins you committed, rather he would pray for you to be delivered and also heal you from every sickness and diseases.
GOD works in a way that humans don't understand. "GOD no be Man"
If Man were to be God, Hmmmmmmm..... Study your Bible, study your Bible. What Bible did Abraham, Isaac, etc study? Have you or your pastors written anything to add to the Bible for other generations to study? |

ifiokjohn: Lol Ronaldo go shock all of una badbelle soon. Should a striker be proud if he is not scoring? So Ronaldo should dance and be merry when he is not scoring? Or as make united isn't doing well?
Ronaldo is stingy yet in his 3 years in Juve he had the highest assists in the club?
Nigga also had highest assissts in his time in Madrid.
Ronaldo is not stingy. He is just a competitor who like to keep going higher. It not wrong to aim for the highest. When they said selfish, did they mention football assists? The guy puts his interest first before considering the team |

Rugaria: The governors of Cross Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Edo are all responsible for this. That of Akwa Ibom and Cross Rivers have never lifted their hands to do something about the gross abuse of children in these places. This has been going on for centuries and they have all kept quiet. Even when the white lady saved that kid and brought all sorts of international attention to this nonsense, they never took any action because deep down, they believe that a child can be born a witch/wizard.
This is reprehensible and should be condemned. Unfortunately we have a tone deaf presidency. Otherwise, actions would have been taken to force the governors to act. It's the same problem with Edo state . Those ones earn more forex from international prostitution than some African countries do from legitimate exports. . For years now and all the governments both at the center and the state levels can do is to periodically churn out worn out platitudes.. Big shame.. Yet the governor of akwa ibom is claiming to build "churches" for God |

Security is also very tight to prevent violence.

sweetshisha:

Putin ain't kidding
I honestly don't blame Putin
Ukraine joining NATO and providing Military base and support for Russian Western enemies might spell doom for Russia
Imagine Nigerian enemy like Boko Haram or ISWAP forming allegiance with Benin Republic or Cameroon and building a massive military base in Cotonou and other border cities near Nigeria
Or Biafra Republic hearing that Mayetti Allah and Delta State are now Military ally and ranches would be built for meyetti Allah around Biafra border town in Delta close to Onitsha
Will US also allow Mexico or Canada to be Military ally of Northkorea , Iran, or Russia with Russian military base surrounding them
. Your mumu too high, is boko haram or miyetti allah a country? Be making stupid comparison like a small child |

ThierryJay: 2000 - 2002 team edges it for me.
They faced stronger sides then and triumphed. The Cameroon of Mboma and Etoo that they faced and lost to via penalties in 2002 final is much stronger than Egypt of this Afcon.
The team also beat a French team in their prime at the world cup and went on to reach the quarter finals which I believe supersedes their current nations cup trophy win. The France they beat didn't make it out of the 2002 world cup group stage. Even though I've more love for the 2002 squad, this present squad is the golden generation because they've actually won a cup made of gold |

But that Egyptian Keeper try oooo! How Mendy won the best GK is a real wonder, he's part of the best defence but definitely not best GK in the tournament |

Loewe: Nowadays most laws, especially in Western countries are traps for men. It's just so unfair!
If it was a woman who hugged a male colleague and blew him kisses, nobody would have reported anything or seen it as a big deal.
Men, be careful, the devil is using women to destroy men's lives these days. Then the man should report too. The law doesn't stop men from reporting sexual assaults, maybe most men love sexual assaults that's why they are not reporting. Before you hug or shake someone you're not familiar with or one you've not been hugging/shaking before, try to take permission. |
