My goodness Tithe. I have not laughed so much in a long time. I'm a lady and yet I can understand your dilemna my dear. I always said I don't want an ugly man, rich or poor coz no money is worth ugly genes. Vain I know but hey, I didn't want people giving compliments about my babies clothes instead of the actual babies.

You know when people see your cosmetically challenged child they say, oh what a lovely suite she's wearing. Then you know you in trouble as the mother, I know i've done it when I couldn't lie, And we mothers do know when our kids ain't pretty.

So I fully get you on the issue.

I said God, when you send me this magnificant man, please make sure he s the best suited person for me in everyway, including attractive genes. He is a faithful God and my children benefited. Praise God. cheesy cheesy cheesy
RomanceRe: Ladies: Why Tell A Guy You Love Him When All You Want Is His Money? by Xfactor2(f): 5:52pm On Nov 08, 2009
The meer fact that you believe it makes you a fool. There is a distinct difference between loving you for you or money and it is blatantly obvious.

RomanceRe: At What Point Does A Man Stop Chasing : by Xfactor2(f): 5:39pm On Nov 08, 2009
Thank God for persistence. I did not like my husband at all when I met him. He kept at it for six months and moved the heaven to get my attention. When he finally did, , well this is our fifth year together and of my 33 years, they are the best years of my life.

But there is no set formulae. Before him there were persistant men whom I refused to even consider until this day. Go works in mysterious ways. So as a man, determine whether you will be the unexpected surprise or the nuisance. smiley

George clearly doesn't know who he is or what he wants. He can get sex from a blow up doll and stop dehuminising his women in this manner because before you are a woman, you are a human being. Infact, even better yet, instead of wasting his money on intimacy gadgets, let him use his left hand. shocked
RomanceRe: Should You Always Tell Someone You Love How You Feel About Them? by Xfactor2(f): 5:25pm On Nov 08, 2009
If you are in a relationship or married then yes. If you are interested in them and they are free then maybe, depending on if you are willing to risk rejection. From the day we met my hubbi always says it or does something to let me know and I do the same _ right notes/ say it/ whatever. My friends don't believe that after being married all this time (5 years), he still tells me I love you through out the day, before bed, in the morning, kisses me good morning and night everyday, and holds me when we asleep.

It's important to let those you love know it because when times are tough, that's what can carry you through. I've seen it.

I love your answer Omega25red.
When all is said and done guys know the following:

Treat her like a queen and shell treat you like a king. Treat her like a hoe and she'll treat you like the love-vendor that you are.

From the mouth of a Queen.

The sad thing is the overwhelming response you've recieved that is negative and offensive to women. How you handle you most precious commodity is a reflection of your value/selfworth. and I must say from reading this thread I get the feeling that not many of you are worth much. Thank God for the few who have reason, and thank God for my King.

RomanceRe: Most Annoying Things Women Do by Xfactor2(f): 4:10pm On Nov 08, 2009
Papabacs that's not true. I think women look for love and unfortunately our environment sometimes influences the meaning of the word. For example in my relationship I am even more of a bread winner than my man coz of my business. I love having money and the comfort that comes with it but I love my man too much to make it his sole number 1 and number 2 I might never live in the kind of comfort I want soon enough coz of waiting for him to make it. It doesn't matter who gets the mula as long as we are together to enjoy it.

I do nag him about where he is coz he nags me about where I am. He can call me 20 times in the space of an hour. The day I stop nagging is the day he should worry. That usually means you woman is finding something more interesting to give her attention to or she just don't care for you. You may not believe it but it's true.

I find that the more available you are to a man, does not necessarily mean good for you. He may start thinkin of gettin some hamburger instead of steak at home. As long as he realises that your life is so busy and you are exposed to the public, he will chase after his steak huni coz he realises when you are out there, another hunter may look at you and see hamburger.

Keep him on his toes girls, get yourself busy,  don't let him find you at home in the same condition he left you in this morning when you got outta bed. you'll start looking like stale steak and there is nothing appetising in that.

I would also like to point out that when I say get yourself busy, I mean it in a cconstructiveway. One of my greatest triumphs is knowing that with or without my man I can afford to live in the same comfort b'coz of financial iIndependence I don't need another man to be daddy to my kids for them to be fed.

Honesty is important, so be honest with yourself and know that no one is rresponsiblefor your success, sense of selfworth or aaccomplishmentsbut you. No one can determine the type of life you live but you. The other day, after 5 years of marriage, I received an msg from my Naija Hubby saying I was the greatest blessing of all to him and he loves me forever. Apparently he realised how good he has it after hearing his friends talk about their marriages and relationships.

So men, if you have a good woman, praise her and stop  cry on this site and she will hand you heaven. If you don't have one of these, do sumthin' about it.  One Luv   wink wink

Klassyguy I am not a Naija chick but being female I think I can attest that each and everyone of those statements is as true as the the fact that Jesus once walked the earth.

I had such a laugh at myself because each one of those statements mean exactly what it says when I do them. Oh my goodness grin
My poor man had better wake up to this truth soon. I'm copying this and sending him email as we speak. Opening lines of communication cool
No need for guessing games after this. He had better carry this in his wallet in case of #4 moments, of which when you are around a man there are bound to be.

Love it, you've made my Sunday. Regards from beautiful SA. cool
RomanceRe: Can A Man And A Woman Be '' Just Friends''? by Xfactor2(f): 8:35pm On Oct 16, 2009
Why put yourself in that position. I don't think that's possible at all. It just compromises a whole lot of things unecessarily. There are such things as moments of weekness you know. When I met my husband most of my friends were men. But out of respect and concern for his feelings, I stopped hanging out with them. I just didn't want to put him in that predicament.

Cheers,much love from SA cool
