Oh yes I mention my age everywhere. You only have to google me to find out. In my thirties I feel hotter, much hotter than I ever did on my twenties and that' saying something. I think age brought me self confidence. I am who I am, take it of F, off typa thing. |

I think intellegence, power and charisma are sexy to me, hell I wanna sleep with them, so i don't think its only appearances. Attractive does not feel as intense, does it? |
I feel hot the way I dress, mostly for me. |
I think that God created Eve last so that everything should have been readily available and taken care off by the time she arrived, hence He made all provisions first. (if you look at it nicely you'll see that everything before eve was in preparation hahahah - I kill myself hey) I think my choice goes without saying even though the mere fact that this becomes a point of discussion so many times in our society is in itself and indictment against the men. Don't bite me, it's my Bible oooo, ![]() |
MRbrownJAY:Oh you kill me everytime ![]() |
I'm also from SA, I think there are lots of ways to get a guy to do what you want without ever having to open you mouth or your , other pne. I definitely would not ask, and I'd make sure that the guy likes me before i make like I wanna be friends. when we're "friends" and he still doesn't ask, move on, you were trying to make it easy for me because there are men who faint at the prospect of asking a woman out believe it or not. |
7 years later and its a resounding yes. definitely, not only because I love him and he's the father of my kids but because there's no me without him. |
@ Babe: I think she said so because otherwise there's no point in being alive if love is too be kept locked up, taking no chances, not necessarily with the same person but with love. Just check this out: To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket- safe, dark, motionless, airless--it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable!!. - (a friend of mine wrote this) in other words, should th eheart not do what th eheart is meant to do, give another chance, we will sieze to exist or be human. I notice that we do this when we carry the other experiences we've had into a new relationship. I remember when I was much younger there was a point when I tried to believe in: Always leave room for disappointment. That's exactly what the first three are. I am very impressed with your analysis Babe, ![]() |
A lie can last for as long as the one being lied to allows it to. Especially the cheating type lie. Women always, always know, but we're far too terrified to face up to it. Hence they say she's always the last to know, no. she's the last to admit its happening, women? |
Oh yes definately. Especially if you wouldn't have given him the time of day had he not asked. He should definately volunteer to pay although I would insist on paying for my share should we not know each other well. If I invite him out next time and expect him to pay then I'm cheap, if he ends up paying as some insist, I'd get him a thank you something of equal sentiment e.g a cd, a bottle of nice wine, nothing too personal. Oh G, dating is so complicated - thank God I'm through with it all. |
@ poster: I don't believe so, I've been married for more than 6 years and have never believed him capable and I admit I will be completely shattered. I won't reduce myself to chase women around, that's nuts. when I was still single I once went out with a doc. who didn't tell me he was married, and you know they don't wear rings some of them ( as soon as he leaves the house he'll put it in the coin holder in the car). when the wife found out she harassed me to no end. The day she stopped is the day I told her: "if you paid as much attention to your husband and your marriage as you do to his mistresses, he would have no reason to stray and from the looks of things I'm not the first and I can guarantee nor am I the last." She was very silent thereafter and i never heard from her again. |
@Kuli - why would you be even envisaging a kiss, on no my tummy's turning cheers |
I wasn't elaborate because its a quote and I only meant to share something evocative, that will speak to someone about the role of the heart seeing that this is a romance thread. I thought it appropriate, as most know, I don't normally post appropriate things for this thread. Ask 190 - he/she stalks me cozza that. ![]() I hope this clears explains, ![]() |
It wasn't meant to be a thread so I won't ask re. SMH again. Just sharing, |
I love Rihanna btw, and TI - Justin sometimes. I didn't like him dissing Prince/Symbol/ Whatever |
why SMH? |
When we were getting married our presiding pastor said to us: There is no such thing as one man for one woman or vice versa, there are many people who cross your path that would be compatible to you and when ppl say God must assign one, he assigns the one that is most suitable but is not the only one. and you can fall in love or be attracted to others everyday, but when you maryy you decide to choose the one to love. So fundamentally love is a decision, and when you get surprised by those feelings along the way, remember who you have to decided to love and why. I have found this to be the most honest piece of advise. Just because you are in a relationship does not mean you are blind or dead, it does mean choosing to honour the one you're with. At least, this is what I think. That is why loving two and keeping both is so reprehensible, it's loving yourself more than the other. |
This is why we have a heart, honest & true: "It's impossible." said pride. "It's risky." said experience. "It's pointless." said reason. "Give it a try." whispered the heart. |
