Culture / Loving And Learning Igbo by Xfactor2(f): 7:50am On Jan 30, 2012
Do you know someone who teaches it online and provides audio teachings as well? I'd love to learn it, I did get a few phrases and expressions during my three month stay in Naija from September last year and after reading Purple Hibiscus I really would love to learn it. Its such a romantic language I think. If you have any info for me my email is: fabulosityreads@gmail.com[flash=200,200][/flash]

Oh and btw:
My blog, Fabulosity Reads, has been nominated as a contender for this writing blog award. Would you please vote for me. I'd be so thrilled to get yours!!

Literature / Igbo Languange Tutors by Xfactor2(f): 7:37am On Jan 30, 2012
I've decided to take the plunge. Do you know anyone who teaches IGBO online if not in SA? I'm in South Africa but after reading Chimamanda Adichie I realise i'd love to learn it. The teacher has to do it through audio as well because I realise that the nuances of the language are such that if you miss pronunciation or place emphasis on the wrong phonics then you are either saying something completely different or nothing at all. LOL

I can attest that the ranking post really worked for me Myne because I am now sitting at 1.3 mil and when I started less than two week ago I was ranked at 5.6mil.
The only thing I'd like to give others a heads up on is that I was worried that it wouldn't work if people didn't download my toolbar which was really not the case. Don't worry about that.
This thing is so terrific, even my traffic has grown. Myne you a goddess thanks.

I have two blogs:
http://fabulosityreads..com/ for book reviews and interview
and
http://fabulositynouveau..com/ as my personal journal blog.

I love doing them and they are definitely much more satisfying than just chatting or posting in forums.
My forums have become more like mediums to let you in on what's happening on my blogs.
I even recently got an invite to contribute articles in two forum, one is a community blog:http://mochagirlsread./
and the other a UK Based magazine : http://peoplewithvoices.com/our-contributors/#.TsDMs0OBqU8 (they actually post books to you - awesome) - I'm really excited and I can see now that blogging has unexpected benefits.

What do you intend it for Jamie, that's what will help us advise you better. I saw it and looks enpty at the moment.

I have 3 blogs: http://fabulositynouveau..com/ which is like my journal and http://fabulosityreads..com/ which is where I do reviews, interviews, etc _ i hope you'll visit both of these and today on Fabulosity Reads, the second one I gave a Jamaican author reading from one of her books and it s funny because she sounded very West African to me despite the fact that she's never been to Africa.

My career blog is much neglected I'm afraid and I need to change that. http://fabulosityatwork..com/

I hope you'll come over and perhaps you'll be inspired by something.

I really admire J.L not only for her commitment to her passion but for her quality of work. She has two published novels : Contraband and Dissolution.

Come check her out. I'll also be sharing snippets of her novels on Fridays so if you love her kind of well structured, well thought out, gripping style,
you in for a good ride. http://fabulosityreads..com/2011/08/chatting-to-jl-campbell.html
