Oh I certainly love fantasy. My favorite being Neil gaiman, he is the demi god of fantasy, closely followed by Terry pratchet. I love j.r Tolkien too andalways take pride j telling ppl how he was born south African even if he couldn't possibly have remembered as they left to uk when he was three at the death of his father. |
Has anyone been inspired as yet? |

Are you not worried about more cheap china goods coming to influx your market and discourage local business? That was the biggest concern here in SA and they ended up in South African court. They won the case but it shows that business SA is very worried about their impact on local business. I'm not business minded but it was interesting to me to see on comments here that no questions are raised about impact and so forth, |
Hi, I'm in South Africa and will be relocating to your neck on the woods soon. I'm looking at importing wine in Nigeria, How viable to you think this would be? I'd really appreciate expert advise. Thank you, |

I just finished Pursuit of Happiness by DOuglas Kennedy, this is a book that novelists should measure themselves against. I have never been so emotionally exhausted. Now startin on somthing light, A Love Rekindled by our resident Myne Whitman. |
Hello there, Femi I am South African so I'm not sure if I'd qualify but I shall be relocating to your country shortly, for a few years and so I wonder if I may be allowed the opportunity. I have a couple of blogs that I write on and here is a post I wrote today for your perusal. Of course this one is a personal blog which doesn't necessarily have a Christian focus although as you navigate your way through you will come across a number of Christian oriented topics that I've covered. I hope to hear from you on: wendy@ewurumconsulting.com Blog: http://fabulositynouveau..com/ |

i will be hosting Myne Whitman, Nigerian Novelist on my blog in July and I hope you'll stop by. I'll also be giving away some of her books so please don't miss the opportunity to enter. http://fabulosityreads..com/ It is true that most Nigerian people don't read because of all those I know there is only one I've met who shares my passion for books, my brother in law. But then again, the same is the case in SA, particularly with black people. |

Please check out this funny poem on my blog: http://fabulositynouveau..com/2011/05/irish-pig.html |
I beg to disagree in the mosst respectful manner. don't think this is true. The writer I know who seems to have the deepest insight into the female psyche is a male. Just about all his books reflect a deep understanding of the woman in all her strengths and weakness and no he's not a doctor of any sort but was a journalist: Douglas Kennedy. Even on other topics males have excelled. I think to say women make better writers is a blanket statement that lacks empirical evidence. |
For the romance thread. If so here is the most tragic of stories I have ever written, its about Congolese Women and Girls. http://fabulositynouveau..com/2011/05/congos-past-still-her-present.html if not, I'm sure a moderator will remove this topic that could help someone instead of those useless ones that crowd the complaints forum, Either way, help someone today. |
This reminds me of my first thread that 190 decided to gatecrash. I don't know which 190 actually but I think he was in Jamaica. He was as frustrated as BS here, very well done BABE. |
i had the greatest fun reading this thread. thank you. I think ask you cousin if she wouldn't mind you going out with him if she's marrying someone else. The heart wants what it wants, hahahaha, and so do the other parts it seems. |
kwa kwakwakwawakwa, this is too much |
This is actually an interesting question because who are you comparing them to? disproportionate to who?, Nigerian men who don't. If that's the case then the your women are very gifted indeed. having both sperm and egg, mmh ![]() |
Before I got married I kept it polite and friendly but after, none at all. I "lost" my phone to ensure that. I always had that horrible luck of them finding out after I'm gone how great I was. So you can imagine the calls could not have been taken in front of my new hubby. I suppose if you single you can keep contact just in case, although even then I was never one to go back. My mother taught me to share, old toys must be given away to charity. |
Clan of the cavebear by Jean Auel - fabulous book |
