While tailor, *smiles* anytime anyday. Depends on your packaging and marketing. Even if you don't earn per day but when you earn you earn big. I made 10k this month from nose mask sales, I just recycled pieces of fabrics and market it.

My boss that owns a fashion house where I work earns nothing less than 100k a month. He sew one senator for 8k.

But tailoring requires cool head, ability to relax and learn and a creative mindset.

I'm also a 2.1 graduate even the best in my class, accountancy dept. Now an intern in a fashion house, I started producing and selling facemasks on 2nd july.

I worked just one hour, on working days 7:30am - about 9am, That is monday to friday. I made about 11k in profits. Plus the 10k token my boss gave me yesterday 30th july.

if I worked from 9am to 5pm like govt workers. I'm sure to hit about 40k, but I got to resume my internship work on time.(8:30am).

Nigerian youths has the potentials to change the country but as stated "No support".

But most youths, don't know how to properly communicate their ideas in form of a business plan or proposal to attract investors.

Me that I'm talking, I have a plan but I need youths of like mind that are tech savvy llets digitalize the idea, but the problem be say they go they charge exorbitant fee.

So, I keep my idea to myself and try and learn to digitalize.

I also saved small cash during my service year. I bought a sewing machine because I learnt sewing in my service year.

I'm currently in Sango Ota now, undergoing an internship in a fashion house.

So my advice for you is acquire a skill be it online skill or offline. Know it well. Then start a business with it and also accept trainees.

But I aslo believe you had something in mind while saving. Now go for it!

I discovered most tailors and designers have the practical knowledge of sewing but lack the theoritical.
Today, in the fashion house I work, I sampled few workers with some questions.
For example, I asked, the small pocket at back of most trousers is called? Most said back pocket. Whereas the name is welt pocket.
Some don't even know the folding allowance given beneath a shirt or trouser is called Hem allowance
Anyways I'm saying this to make upcoming designers strive to learn sewing terminologies on your own, even if your masters/Ogas doesn't teach you.
It makes you look more professional and makes you charge high.

If you have any Ideas whether it will take a month or not to blossom or not you can share it. As long as it is a good one, I have ideas too. But I just like minds to brainstorm with.

I've hundteds of ideas, but sharing it might be a problem, because my ideas are to be patented.
Anyways, thank Goodness you know a month isn't enough to make a millionaire, though it begins the process.

However most of my ideas are capital intensive. Ever thought of a mobile tailoring firm, offering services at your door step. Where customers has the liberty to see their clothes made for them at their homes and maybe they or their children learn in the process.

This is one idea am working on, you can key in. If interested.
