Next time employ a personal nurse or load them with cash and you will receive a VIP treatment. Are we not talking about the same Nigeria where money counts.? Nurses and other essential personnel owes us a duty of care which I concur with, but should in case the care is not forthcoming, then by all means buy it. Save up and buy their kindness till you are safely out of their door.
I do not care how you see it but Nigeria is a jungle, it is a zoo where you can either eat or be eaten. You strive to survive by all means necessary even in your hospital bed.

That's what I did by not having my next baby in Nigeria. I ended up performing the job of a nurse with my baby when I was there and I did it for free. They can't be paid well if they do not show that they are bringing attendant value. Nigerian nurses have killed people's babies and other patients with their nonchalant attitude. I have zero respect for them.

Even in private hospitals, nurses can be so uncaring and lazy. If I could do without them, I would. I remember when I had my first son and he had jaundice the nurses really dealt with him. I would hear him crying and I would be too weak to do anything. I had a C section but I ensured I was on my feet within 12 hours so that they don't maim my son for me.

The night duty nurse was never to be found when needed. The stuff protecting his eyes were always falling off so I sat beside him throughout. Whenever she finally appeared, she will be talking down at me and so many other things. The day nurse was just slightly better. More interested in African Magic. If I knew what I know now, would have reported them to the MD. I did everything for him myself even though I was still recovering from the operation.

I have nothing good to write about them. My cousin is a nurse in a GH and she is just as bad as the rest of them saying that it is normal. I told her no foreign hospital will keep her if she didn't change her irritating attitude.

I took milk every single day. In fact, I had a stash in my office that I would lick whenever. I never had protein in my urine. Maybe it's different for different people.

The more you scratch, the more you get stretch marks. Talking from experience. Try and rub ori on it when it itches. There's really nothing you can do to stop the itching.

We are also doing them a favour jor. We pay cash for the birth, we spend a lot on shopping, tickets, accommodation, etc. And we still give them another American to tax. Just found out that as long as you are an American citizen, you have to pay tax once you start working regardless of the country of domicile.

Woke 5pm, ate... disturb till 8pm. Ate again. Slept. Woke up 10pm. Ate. Disturb n slept by 11:30. Woke up 2am. Ate, disturb...i danced sang, talk...after changing diapers 3times.... used bobbi to hold mouth... till 6am wen i was fustrated n my mum came to collect her. She slept and we woke her to bath and another stress started... lol

I am just enjoying it while it lasts. My last baby could cry for Africa from day1. I hear my neighbours babies cry tirelessly whilst he hardly cries at all. They said I should feed him every 3 hrs regardless but he prefers to sleep through the night in my arms. Compared to before, I am having a blast.

He came on my parents wedding anniversary. Lost my mum so I am so happy to have my baby remind me of her.

Same thing for me. But I went to the hospital and they did a scan. I think I was 9 weeks then. The scan showed my EDD and that's what I have been holding on to.

Most hospitals in UK do a scan from 8 weeks to 10 weeks called dating scan to get an approximate EDD. That is the most accurate scan.

So, really, these Dallas people just decided to disturb me for no reason.

EBF babies can act that way. Frim my experience, my babies pooped more from BM. When I give formula, I have to remember to give small water after so that they won't be constipated.
As long as the poor is yellow and has seeds, your good to go. If it is watery without the seeds then you can think of baby having diarrhoea.

I got a cercelage due to incompetent cervix around 12weeks and around 18weeks I saw little blood stain.. was scared so I called my dr and was asked to go in for a scan.. To the Glory of God the baby is fine but cervical length is short I measuring 18mm was placed on some medicine and was told to rest.... my question now is when I did the cercelage my dr told me it is okay for me to travel cos I intend traveling to have the baby.. bought ticket and have done necessary arrangement. I want to know if anyone has gone through this and still traveled without any problem .. I believe God I will carry to Term in Jesus name.. sorry for the long write up.. thank you

If you can go on bed rest before your journey, it will help. Also, hope you got the shortest flight possible not those long Arabian flights. It will end in praise. Ask your doctor to place you on that medication for reducing cramping. Can't remember the name now.
